Into the final lap now after over 1 year of entertainment, education and excitement. Donald J Trump is nearly there against all expectations.

Currently 298 DT, 218 HC. Still a few states to announce.

Spinflight · 09/11/2016 08:34

And the funniest thing of all about this election?

The DNC actually instructed their media lackeys to elevate Donald Trump to be leader of the pack, hoping to entice more extreme positions out of the other 16.

They created their own nemesis, for a very large fee of course.

Well done Claig, takes some guts to speak out for what you believe in despite the hostility and sneering.

Southallgirl · 09/11/2016 08:35

correction 289 to DT thus far.

Chris1234567890 · 09/11/2016 08:36

"Absolutely, with Trump in power, Brexit is permanent. All the useless servants will have to start serving the people instead of the elites who have had the rug pulled out from under them."

This this this this this. The UK people now have the President of the US of America behind them. Its simply wonderful.....

Shiningexample · 09/11/2016 08:39

IMO the elites will be as sensible as is required to keep the pitchforked mob from gathering

Brexit and trump are warning lights telling the elites that they have taken too much piss
They need to be more subtle with the exploitation and wealth extraction
Just like a successful parasite doesn't kill it's host

claig · 09/11/2016 08:39

Thanks, Spinflight, and thanks for always speaking up for common sense too. Our elites tried to bully us and use political correctness so that we can't say what we think or that Germaine Greer, Julie Bindel and many, many other people can't say what they think. With Trump, all that is now over.

'The DNC actually instructed their media lackeys to elevate Donald Trump to be leader of the pack, hoping to entice more extreme positions out of the other 16.'

Yes, just like the Oxbridge teams who were so arrogant to underestimate the British people and Farage, the DNC underestimated Trump.

"Absolutely, the dark clouds of the crooks who stifled our free speech and freedoms and accused anyone who supports Trump of being a fascist are over.

The whole world can breathe easily again and Russia and America can get on well and we can finally see the end of the Islamic Jihadis and all those who supported and financed them."

Abso - bloody - lutely. Well done again Claig. Just off to ring the bells of freedom elsewhere.

BertrandRussell · 09/11/2016 08:41

Claig- do you just ignore all the awful things Trump has said about women? Do you agree with him about abortion?

claig · 09/11/2016 08:48

Trump brags and is lewd but it was done in a private conversation of bragging. I don't care if he calls Rosie O'Donnell a slob or a pig, just as I don't care if he calls Cameron a slob or a pig. I am for free speech even if it is offensive.

Trump was a Democrat, he is much less for ending abortion than most of the rest of the Republican elites. It won't happen, it was part of winning the election and appealing to the Christian Right, the Evangelicals, and we all know that Trump with his lewd talk etc is not the strictest of Bible followers.

Well claig You were right. Grin You have entertained us in the derxa house.

claig · 09/11/2016 08:52

'You have entertained us in the derxa house.'

Thanks derxa Grin

The whole year of Trump has been great fun and it hasn't ended. Now we can all laugh as we watch all the servants in the political class worldwide eat their words, bow and scrap and grovel and they will be so busy grovelling and panicking that they won't be bale to stifle our free speech with their politically correct crap.

"The people won't be druv"

Soros and his supporters in USA will now have to up their game.

Shiningexample · 09/11/2016 08:53

Claim and Chris, you seem to view Trump as the Messiah,

He isn't, he's just very naughty boy

claig · 09/11/2016 08:54

'Soros and his supporters in USA will now have to up their game.'

Impossible. They will be toast.

Wait until Trump investigates the charidees and Foundations. It may stretch worldwide. The corruption is global.

As Trump said

"Hillary Clinton is a vessel of the corrupt global establihment that is raiding our country"

They are now more frightened than they have ever been.

Just as Brexit was 'done' by mostly uneducated Northerners according to the journos, some talking heads today are more or less asserting the same about the Trump victory. Actually, Lord Ashcroft survey states that that was not so, apart from the North East.

Reading the last hour on this thread, it's almost ike claig has won with the congrats an' all that Grin

fourmummy · 09/11/2016 09:00

Chris - I second that. I have spent what feels like years (it is perhaps even three years now!) patiently copying and pasting Claig's links and sentiments into my family chats so that the children could read them. Claig You must collate some of your crucial posts and publish. I'd buy it! It's an important part of history and an education for our children (and I only started posting on MN because I could align myself to Claig). A brilliant outcome. Off to celebrate with some like-minded friends over a strong coffee.

I think its more likely that we can watch as a slow realisation dawns on all those who voted for him sinks in. His hands are tied, there will not be world changing things happening. He wants instant change, they want instant change, look at the diagram I linked way back, it just can't happen...

Just my opinion of course...

claig · 09/11/2016 09:02

Trump did it his way.

The record shows, he took the elite's and their lying media's blows and did it his way

OP posts:
claig · 09/11/2016 09:05

'Claig You must collate some of your crucial posts and publish.'

The elite wouldn't publish it. It's not politically correct Grin

But with Trump, all that crap is now over.

Yay Claig! Now only your other boy Nige to come good.
Proclaimers needed 'I'm on my way'

Southallgirl · 09/11/2016 09:13

I'm still interested to see how Michigan voted. That afterall was the manufacturing heart of USA for such a long time, but Detroit specifically is now a ghost town.

Cant wait for Katie Hopkins' show on Sunday.

claig · 09/11/2016 09:14

Nige has bowed out, he is not up to it, he can't stand the heat, the way Trump can. But it doesn't matter because Theresa May is good, she will do a good job.

'Proclaimers needed 'I'm on my way''

I don't think I have heard that one. 500 miles, I know.

OP posts:
claig · 09/11/2016 09:18

Proclaimers I'm On My Way

I haven't heard it, but it is great

"I took a right, I took a right, I took a right turn yes I did"

That is the Trumpsters' anthem
