Into the final lap now after over 1 year of entertainment, education and excitement. Donald J Trump is nearly there against all expectations.

Oooohhh...

Another wikileak!

Spinflight · 08/11/2016 02:24

Interesting...

The Clintons have been taking kickbacks from sporting events...

Qatar $400k for the World Cup
Rio, the mayor up to $8 million

Pluto30 · 08/11/2016 02:28

Colour me surprised.

Chris1234567890 · 08/11/2016 02:54

Spinflight "I can see the headline tomorrow...

Internet keyboard warrior doesn't make Hitler reference lightly!"

This is the post of the day. LMAO.

Lweji · 08/11/2016 06:26

As would the entire internet, Godwin's laws are rather well entrenched

Did you think you were so clever there?
Do you understand what Godwin's law is?
Because it's not about validity of arguments or that Hitler shouldn't be mentioned.
It's about length of treads and the inevitability of Hitler being mentioned.
Why?
Because in our minds it's the ultimate example of a monster.
The thing is that it was a human monster and he wasn't the only or worst (except for a coincidence of history that meant huge numbers).
You vote or support raving mad people at a risk for everyone, particularly the most vulnerable.
Ask yourself: do I ever want to risk feeling like a German in relation to WW2?

Even claig admits she has no idea what Trump is capable of because what he says and what he does is so different. It could be great and it could be doom. It's fun for betting, but not for major political positions.

Shiningexample · 08/11/2016 08:56

Godwin's laws are rather well entrenched
lmfao
Spinflight rumbled!
no one who understood the meaning of Godwins Law would come out with something like that

flowersandsunshine · 08/11/2016 09:05

Spinflight - you do know that Godwin's law doesn't apply to fascists. Otherwise the whole discussion of Nazism, fascism etc would be rendered one rather amusing joke. Which apparently it is to you.

Not sure which aspects of my experience you find so amusing? Is it that I grew up aware of all those of my relatives who were murdered by fascists? Or hearing my parents' first hand experience of growing up under the Nazis?

Strangely, neither those who died nor my parents who fled found it all terribly amusing.

That you do says something interesting about you and Chris "LMAO" 1234567890.

Come on bots, you can do better than that.

How much are they paying you for this drivel? Whatever it is, it's not enough. Prostituting your humanity ought to be a bit more expensive.

flowersandsunshine · 08/11/2016 09:09

Strange how the Trumptrolls appear just before the election. (At least claig is an old hand.)

What an amazing coincidence.

Auit · 08/11/2016 09:13

Bill Clinton 'lost vital White House nuclear codes'

Old news but worth remembering giving Hillary saying she could be trusted with them and Trump could not Hmm

Auit · 08/11/2016 09:15

Oh here's a BBC link for those that don't trust the evil torygraph

[[http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-11591213 US presidential nuclear codes 'lost for months'
]]

flowersandsunshine · 08/11/2016 09:18

Interesting that people are posting old news on election day.

Hmmm.

And posters we don't normally see here either.

I wonder why that could be? Another amazing coincidence.

claig · 08/11/2016 09:23

flowers, that is trollhunting.

Spinflight has been around for a few years, formerly supported UKIP but no longer, for Brexit etc. Spinflight is not particularly keen on Trump and not on Hillary either. I don't think Spinflight really cares who wins.

I think Chris is new but there are bound to be new posters attracted for teh most important election in teh whole world for decades, but although Chris prefers Trump, Chris doesn't think he is that good either.

I, on the other hand, am 100% Trump because I have always been "people vs the elites" and I agree with Trump that "this is it, this is our last chance, folks, we will never have another chance" to beat the corrupt elites. You can hear them all on the BBC this morning, from Oxbridge, Harvard, New York and London panicking and supporting Hillary. This is it, if the people lose, it will all be over.

OP posts:
Roussette · 08/11/2016 09:38

flowers yes I wondered... but like anyone is interested in our opinion on a forum in the UK. We're small fry over here Grin

You talk of panic claig, I think the panic is in the Trump camp. He has an insurmountable mountain to climb and watching his and HC's last rallies in the night (not by choice, I had toothache) HC talked of the future. and DT... well he just kept banging on crooked hilary stuff and no forward thinking and soundbites for if he should win.

claig · 08/11/2016 09:39

Trump says

"we are led by very very stupid people, very very stupid people"

He is talking about America, but he might as well have been talking about our Oxbridge idiots. If Trump wins, we win. Go Trump!

fourmummy · 08/11/2016 09:44

but there are bound to be new posters attracted for the most important election in the whole world for decades

That is an understatement and I'd be amazed if people weren't glued to their screens.

claig · 08/11/2016 09:46

Roussette , I don't think you really understand what lies at the heart of the Trump phenomenon. You say that Trump talking negative about Crooked Hillary means he is worried and is losing and Hillary's positive vision, BBC speak, Tony Blair speak means she is confident.

But that misses the whole point. The system is phoney, the politicians are phoney, the positive talk is phoney while there are Jimmy Savile coverups and pay for play and all the rest of it.

The millions of people who support Trump like him because he dares to say it, he dares to call the politicians corrupt, he dares to say they are liars and puppets and he dares to say he intends to Drain the Swamp and Lock Crooked Hillary up.

Yes Trump has a huge mountain to climb, the entire media and all the frightened elites acroos the world are set against him. As he says "this is our last chance, I did my bit, folks, I worked, now it is your turn, get out and vote".

He may not make it, the elites may breathe a sigh of relief, we will have to wait and see.

'Do they know something they're not admitting to? Clinton CANCELS New York election night fireworks display - and her electoral college lock falters'

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3914082/Clinton-campaign-CANCELS-New-York-election-night-fireworks-display.html

The whole world waits.

Crooks are "with her", billionaires are "with her", the useless pompous political classes are "with her", the Saudis are "with her", every pay for play payer in the world who wanted to rig capitalism and get government contracts and swindle the American people and American taxpayer by rigging and preventing open, fair competition is "with her".

The people are with the Stump for Trump Sisters.

I don't understand why so many of you believe that a politically incorrect man whose wealth and privileged life causes him to behave too forwardly with women cannot love his country and abhor the professional politicians running it as a fiefdom to enrich only themselves.

Whatever imperfections Trump has, and however much you shout about his over-familiarity with wimmin, it's all beside the point. What is at stake is far more important.

SerendipityPhenomenon · 08/11/2016 10:15

Bill Clinton 'lost vital White House nuclear codes'

Old news but worth remembering giving Hillary saying she could be trusted with them and Trump could not

Why is it worth remembering? Please tell me that you don't think women are clones of their husbands?

Mr Serendipity lost his credit card last month. Guess what, I haven't lost mine.

SerendipityPhenomenon · 08/11/2016 10:18

Southallgirl, do you seriously believe that Trump's admitted sexual assaults on women are merely some minor peccadillo? Can you not see what it tells us about his attitude to 50% of the population, and do you not think that is of major importance? Do you trust this man not to do his best to ensure that Roe v Wade is overturned?

Southallgirl · 08/11/2016 10:18

I think the FBI were careful this time to be seen to be doing right. They took another look at Hillllary's emails and found no case to answer. I never thought they would find anything - anyone who brings attention to a private server and names their domain with their surname is not going to leave evidence.

BertrandRussell · 08/11/2016 10:19

"Whatever imperfections Trump has, and however much you shout about his over-familiarity with wimmin, it's all beside the point."

"imperfections" "shout" "over familiarity" "wimmin"

Grin. So nice of people to use helpful flags so you know their posts are not worth bothering about!

Oblomov16 · 08/11/2016 10:20

How we ever got to here, with these 2, beggars belief.
Hope Clinton wins. Not because I like her, but just because she's less awful than him.

Missswatch · 08/11/2016 10:22

Hillary once stated that all women who claimed to have been sexually abused should be believed. She quickly changed her tune when her husband was accused. She does a disservice to women everywhere
