new thread. :)

I think Assange is being interviewed by John Pilger tonight sometime on Russia Today, if anyone has that on cable.

Assange: Clinton is a cog for Goldman Sach and the Saudis [John Pilger Exclusive]
...
JA: So, I think you can't properly understand Hillary Clinton's foreign policy without understanding Saudi Arabia. The connections with Saudi Arabia are so intimate.

‘Libya is Hillary Clinton’s war’

JP:Why was she so demonstrably enthusiastic about the destruction of Libya? Can you talk a little about just what the emails have told us – told you – about what happened there? Because Libya is such a source for so much of the mayhem now in Syria: the ISIL, jihadism, and so on. And it was almost Hillary Clinton's invasion. What do the emails tell us about that?

JA: Libya more that anyone else's war was Hillary Clinton's war. Barack Obama initially opposed it. Who was the person who was championing it? Hillary Clinton. That's documented throughout her emails. She had… She put her favored agent in effect, Sidney Blumenthal, onto that. There's more than 1,700 emails out of the 33 thousand of Hillary Clinton's emails we published just about Libya. It's not about that Libya has cheap oil. She perceived the removal of Gaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state something that she would use to run in the general election for president. So late 2011, there's an internal document called the "Libya Tick Tock" that is produced for Hillary Clinton, and it's all the... it's a chronological description of how Hillary Clinton was the central figure in the destruction of the Libyan state. As a result, there are around 40,000 deaths within Libya. Jihadists moved in, ISIS moved in. That led to the European refugee and migrant crisis, because not only did you have people fleeing Libya, people then fleeing Syria, destabilization of other African countries as a result of arms flows. The Libyan state itself was no longer able to control movement of people through it. So, Libya faces on to the Mediterranean. So, it had been effectively the cork in the bottle of Africa. So, all problems, all economic problems, the civil war in Africa... Previously, the people fleeing those problems didn’t end up in Europe because Libya policed the Mediterranean. And that was said explicitly at the time, back in 2011, by Gaddafi: what do these Europeans think they are doing, trying to bomb and destroy the Libyan state? There’s going to be floods of migrants out of Africa, and jihadists into Europe. And that is exactly what happened.

‘Trump won’t be permitted to win’

JP:You get a lot of complaints from people saying, “What is WikiLeaks doing, are they trying to put Trump into White House?”

JA: My analysis is that Trump would not be permitted to win. Why do I say that? Because he’s had every establishment offside. Trump doesn’t have one establishment – maybe with the exception of the Evangelicals, if you can call them an establishment. But banks, intelligence, arms companies, big foreign money, etc. – it’s all united behind Hillary Clinton. And the media as well: so, media owners and even journalists themselves.

'Libya more that anyone else's war was Hillary Clinton's war. Barack Obama initially opposed it.'

I am sure that Obama has made some mistakes, but he has gone grey trying to stop the crazies in Libya and giving us all a world war over Syria or Ukraine.

When Trump gets in, it will all be over.

fourmummy · 05/11/2016 11:58

Claig - I don't know if you remember but a while ago now, I was posting that it all came down to Saudi and America. When DH and I started this journey, all paths came back to SA and USA again and again. It appears to be an accurate appraisal and explains it all. Obv, there are many issues but that is the kernel.

Loved your poem yesterday. You need to collate your posts in print (under your pseudonym, of course) so that more people can access this knowledge.

Is Freedland banging his drum again? After Tues, he may need to invest in a different worldview Grin

Lweji · 05/11/2016 12:14

Realclearpolitics says Clinton in Colorado with two very recent polls.
The best for Trump is a tie.

claig · 05/11/2016 12:19

Yes, fourmummy. How crazy that Saudi Arabia and the extreme Islamic Wahhabi sect has such an influence in the world and sits on the UN Human Rights thing and is so tight with so many world leaders who profess that they care about human rights and womens' rights. I guess it is all down to money and arms sales and billions of dollars and pay for play and a corrupt political class. The same old, same old.

'so that more people can access this knowledge. '

Thanks Smile. But I wouldn't go as far as calling it "knowledge", having a laugh, yes Smile

'Is Freedland banging his drum again?'

He has to. He has no choice. the entire elite, Establishment and all their servant classes and media organisations have to because they are all petrified of Trump and rule by , for and of the people.

America is the greatest country on earth, it's people are unbowed, they love liberty, they are the most courageous, independent minded people on earth. They won't let an elite bunch of crooks rule over them forever and their victory will be our victory because we will be free of the elite's spin and lies too.

After Tuesday, all our media great and good, our elites, our chatterati, our BBC etc will have to start showing America and the American people and their President, Donald J Trump, the respect they deserve.

claig · 05/11/2016 13:24

Trump's final TV advert

It's We the People versus the Establishment.

All Establishments, elites, political classes, media and great and goods are united for Hillary, but they are outnumbered by the billions of people on the planet who are united for Trump.

They tried to ban him from entering our country, they smeared him and they mocked him, they called him "unfit" in the biggest case of psychological projection ever seen, but We the People will have the last laugh.

Go Trumpsters!

wenker · 05/11/2016 15:11

Craig - I know you are a Trump supporter but do you think he will win?

And when you say 'it will all be over', what do you mean? How will it be over?

claig · 05/11/2016 15:45

Hi, wenker (I was very careful to spell that correctly Smile)

Yes, I think Trump will win. There are all sorts of rumours that they might rig it, but I think we may be seeing a landslide that can't be rigged, we will have to wait and see.

'How will it be over?'

The war in Syria will be over, because I think that Trump will no longer back the Jihadis who are fighting Assad. I think Trump will get together with Putin and together they will defeat Isis and tell the Saudis and Qataris who have been funding the Jihadis that it is now game over, so the whole thing will come to an end and there will be peace and then Syria can be rebuilt and people can return to their homes which will be rebuilt etc.

I think the policy that Hillary and Obama etc have been following will be overturned by Trump and there will be a new direction which brings peace.

claig · 05/11/2016 15:57

'I think the policy that Hillary and Obama etc have been following will be overturned'

We have leatrned from Wikileaks recently, but it has also been long known on non-mainstream media and non BBC etc, that the Saudis and ataris have been making contributions to the Clinton Foundation etc and have also been funding Jihadis. With Trump, the game is up.

Trump has got no time for "puppet politicians" and the "corrupt political class" and the "corrupt global establishment" that he says is "raiding our country" and of which he says "Hillary Clinton is a vessel", therefore the global establshment's game is up, it's all over and they won't be using the United States to work for them.

This was one of Trump's tweets several months ago. Trump doesn't mess about. he is the real deal and the elite have never come across anyone like him. Their game is up.

"Dopey Prince @Alwaleed_Talal wants to control our U.S. politicians with daddy’s money. Can’t do it when I get elected. #Trump2016"

That is why Trump2016 is the most historic election ever and the global elite is in panic mode, the mainstream media is doing everything they can to stop Trump, and the people are laughing.

paulapantsdown · 05/11/2016 16:34

Claig - what are you going to do with all the extra time you are going to have after the election and you won't be writing eleventy million lines of this nonsense every day Smile!?

claig · 05/11/2016 16:51

There's the whole Brexit fiasco next

fourmummy · 05/11/2016 17:17

Does anyone here, apart from a (very) few notable exceptions actually understand why selling $80 billion of weaponry to the Saudis who you know are funding ISIS, accepting 'gifts' for your foundation all the time knowing that these people are funding ISIS and accepting 'donations' from them while ' knowing that they are funding ISIS might be a problem? Is there something unclear about this?

WinchesterWoman · 05/11/2016 17:22

four mummy and Claig you must come to the mumsnet brexit arms

beers and lovely people

fourmummy · 05/11/2016 17:51

On my way!

claig · 05/11/2016 17:53

Thanks, WinchesterWoman, I'll have to decline for the time being or I will be posting more than I already am and will get absolutely zilch done. Smile

lightingseeds · 05/11/2016 21:16

So Claig, why is it when it comes to Syria that you are so in favour of the establishment and don't give a fig for the people?

claig · 05/11/2016 21:57

Because Saudi and Qatari billionaires and a corrupt political class in the West have created and funded Jihadis and armed them and have a mercenary army of foreigners from 100 countries fighting and killing Syrian people and trying to overthrow a secular government that protects Christians, Jews, Druze, Kurds, Shia and Sunni and the head of the Syrian Army is a Sunni and lots of Sunnis fight in the Syrian Army against the headchopping liver eating cutthroat mercenary Jihadis who have been inflicted on the Syrian people in an attempt to overthrow their government that has lasted for 6 years without end and with constant money and funding by outside powers that has led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands and has led to millions being displaced and living in shelters for years.

It is immoral and it is done for money, profit, an oil pipeline and geopolitical reasons that benefit big fat cat billionaires and ruins the lives of millions of ordinary Syrian citizens, just like Hillary Clinton unleashed in Libya and George Bush unleashed in Iraq.

How they sleep at night beats me and how the lying media covers up for it and cheerleads for it beats me too.

claig · 05/11/2016 22:01

And by the way, when Trump wins, all of the truth about what really happened and why, all of the pay for play, all of the charidee and foundation donations from billionaires, will come out and all the liars and media who lied will be shown up for what they were.

claig · 05/11/2016 22:08

Our media sent Krishnan to Syria. He has been reporting from Aleppo for days. all the usual reports we have heard for 6 years but today finally they sent Oxbridge Krishnan to talk to Syrian Army troops instead of the usual rebels, Jihais and charidees. He still asks insulting questions, but what do you expect, that's Oxbridge for you, but at least they finally talked to some Syrian Army troops to try and understand why they are fighting for their country instead of the usual Jihadis and charidees they always interview. It was patronising, but better than the usual Jihadi reports.

flowersandsunshine · 05/11/2016 22:24

^It's We the People versus the Establishment.

All Establishments, elites, political classes, media and great and goods are united for Hillary, but they are outnumbered by the billions of people on the planet who are united for Trump.^

claig - who exactly are "We The People"?

Because I sure as hell am not one of them. What do you need to qualify? - WASP, male, what else? No-one I know would call themselves one of your We The People either.

So who exactly are you? What do you think you represent?

claig · 05/11/2016 22:34

We the people is all of the ordinary people and not the billionaire elites and their servants and media servants. It has nothing to do with race or WASP etc

The Stump for Trump Sistrs are black and support Trump as do many other black people and Latino people and Asian people and Indian people etc and white people too. You will see that when he wins and the lying media failed to stop him.

If you've been watching Krishnan and the BBC, you probably don't realise that black people and lots of ordinary people support Trump. That is We the People against the Establishment.

claig · 05/11/2016 22:37

And if you still don't understand what We the People is all about and why the people want to beat the Establishment, then watch Trump's final TV advert where he explains what his movemnet is all about and why it is for We the People against the corrupt Establishment. You won't see it on the BBC.

flowersandsunshine · 05/11/2016 22:38

We the people is all of the ordinary people and not the billionaire elites and their servants and media servants.

Well, I'm sadly no billionaire nor member of any elite but and nor is anyone I know but why you think that puts us on the same side as a fascist like Trump I can't imagine. And you're naive in the extreme if you genuinely think race or gender has got nothing to do with it. If white men weren't allowed to vote in the US, Trump wouldn't have made it through the primaries.

I don't think you're naive, though. So why are you trying to obfuscate here?

flowersandsunshine · 05/11/2016 22:41

The fact you can point to a tiny unrepresentative group of black or Latino or female or whatever Trump supporters doesn't in any way change the fact that his support among those groups is understandably miniscule. Given that he spends all his time denigrating women and anyone who isn't white and American.

flowersandsunshine · 05/11/2016 22:42

How can billionaire member of the elite Trump possibly represent your mythical We The People against...erm..billionaire elites?

He is your ultimate member of the elite. You don't get any more in with the elite than Trump.
