new thread. :)

This is in response to marmites disgraceful video post earlier today.

Be very careful which snippets of history you selectively choose marmite, Claig has a far clearer finger on the pulse than shes being given credit for.

claig · 03/11/2016 19:55

Thanks, Chris. I love that song. the song of the people. I had never heard it before I saw that Trump used it at a Miami rally for a Les Deplorables entrance

user1471451684 · 03/11/2016 20:22

Claig very well put,

WinchesterWoman · 03/11/2016 20:26

Chris I'm impressed you clicked. Never in million here. What was awful about it, please share.

Chris1234567890 · 03/11/2016 21:13

....because its an immediate attempt to stereotype and attack a voter. Marmite is choosing to identify all Trump voters as brownshirt nazis. Thats it. No acknowledgment of the issues. No respect for the opinion. Absolutely no concern for those who are suffering i.e. in the rust bucket belt. Its a simple, if you vote Trump, youre a nazi racist.

As youve seen in the Clinton campaign, Trump voters are portrayed as stupid, uneducated, white racists. Its an attack on the voters, not the candidates or the policies, and its disgraceful. Thats why Trump will win. Because the majority of educated, wealthy, comfortable middle classes, find attacking those suffering daily at the sharp end of government policy, is actually really deplorable behaviour. Yes they may hate Trump, with avengance even, but they hate this superior bullying even more. How dare anyone call anyone a racist based on their fundamental right to vote in a legal election for a candidate legally placed before them. If you want to vote Trump because hes male, you are free to do so. If you want to vote Trump because he reminds you of your old head teacher, you are free to do so. If you want to vote Trump because you agree with just 1 policy he endorses, you are free to do so. How dare any one then attack you as a racist for your fundamental right to choose.

WinchesterWoman · 03/11/2016 21:25

Ooh how nasty. Thanks.

Breadandwine · 03/11/2016 22:33

Whatever happens next week - and it gives me no pleasure to say this - but one thing's certain, claig, you are going to be almighty disappointed.

If Hillary wins...well.

If Trump wins, he'll become part of that establishment you so despise before you can say 'knife'! You think he gives a flying fuck for you, or for any of his supporters? He cares about one thing, and one thing only - Donald Trump! (Well, maybe there is something else he cares about - how many pussies he can grab!)

About the child rape - seems the complainant is in fear of her life!

claig · 03/11/2016 22:48

It's possible Breadandwine, but I don't think so

As Sheriff Clarke says "they are scared as hell"

The elites have heard about "rope a dope" but they never dreamed it would be done to them. They have belatedly turned to religion to save themselves.

"Trump terrifies world leaders

And Obama’s reassurances aren’t calming them down.
...
“They’re scared and they’re trying to understand how real this is,” said one American official in touch with foreign leaders.

www.politico.com/story/2016/04/trump-terrifies-world-leaders-222233

There are Oxbridge PPEs at the Guardian who are pissing themselves, and I don't mean laughing. There is more panic than in a Zombie movie.

Elites worldwide know the game is up if Trump wins, the people worldwide are hoping he does win and ends the stupidity that they all have to put up with from these useless elites.

claig · 03/11/2016 22:58

I expect Trump will give Sheriif David Clarke a very senior position somewhere. Personally, I would like him to be in charge of the FBI and then sit back and watch the elite crooks run as fast and as far as they can.

claig · 03/11/2016 23:01

Sheriff David Clrke frightens hardened police officers of forty years' service. Imagine what he will do to the elite crooks. They won't know what hit them.

USA

claig · 03/11/2016 23:24

On BBC Question Time now we have two Americans, Charlie Wof and the singer from the Fun Loving Criminals, a marine core verteran, one of the 172 Labour politicians, Lisa Nandy, Conservative MP Sajjit David and someone else.

Only the two Americans are sensible and understand how shady Hillary Clinton is and why the people are rebelling against the Establishment.

Our lot are useless.

Lweji · 04/11/2016 00:42

You see, claig, his monikers are not about the issues.
No moniker ever is. It's personal. His for Hillary was a personal attack. While he failed to actually discuss how his wall would work, or how lowering taxes would work, even how he plans to get health cover for all, or how his maternity protection plans not only fall very short of Hillary's but also don't seem realistic based on his tax cuts. His international deals are wishful thinking at best. And he has no idea what to do about ISIS (could it be bombing them, leaving them to Putin or taking their oil?)
Add to that his personal failings in relation to women, various ethnic groups, how he's dealt with businesses (from multiple bankruptcies to simply conning people), and he's manipulated the judicial system.

While Hillary has emails being investigated, Trump actually has two (!) court cases against him coming up. One for fraud (!) and the other for rape (!).

If we were to come up with monikers for Trump, we'd be spoilt for choice, though.
Rapist Trump
Groper Trump
Bankrupt Trump (said 4 times in a row for effect)
Hypocrite Trump
Hater Trump
Corrupter Trump
Tight fist Trump
Racist Trump
Conman Trump
Sue-you Trump

Take your pick.

My favourite might be
Terrifying Trump (as opposed to Terrific, btw)

A good summary.

And I agree with a previous poster.
Sadly, I think you'll end up very disappointed, particularly if Trump wins.

Lweji · 04/11/2016 01:01

Damn, forgot

Lying Trump
Locker room Trump
Bullying Trump
Stop commenting on your own daughter's body Trump
Cringing Trump
Projecting Trump
Humourless Trump

It's endless.

Pallisers · 04/11/2016 01:20

How about for the first time in many years US voters are being asked to vote a person for president who hides his tax returns?

WinchesterWoman · 04/11/2016 04:26

First time a would be president is under two FBI investigations?

Lweji · 04/11/2016 07:20

Under investigation is not the same as charged, and even less so convicted.

OTOH, the male candidate does have a fraud charge and the rape, of course.
Fraud...

75 court cases pending.

For non payments...
His own Foundation is under investigation too.

Assange says

“My analysis is that Trump would not be permitted to win."

Let's hope Assange is wrong and that the people beat the elites.

"Assange: Clinton & ISIS funded by same money, Trump won’t be allowed to win (JOHN PILGER EXCLUSIVE)
...
John Pilger: The Saudis, the Qataris, the Moroccans, the Bahrainis, particularly the first two, are giving all this money to the Clinton Foundation, while Hillary Clinton is secretary of state, and the State Department is approving massive arms sales, particularly Saudi Arabia.

Julian Assange: Under Hillary Clinton – and the Clinton emails reveal a significant discussion of it – the biggest-ever arms deal in the world was made with Saudi Arabia: more than $80 billion. During her tenure, the total arms exports from the US doubled in dollar value.

JP: Of course, the consequence of that is that this notorious jihadist group, called ISIL or ISIS, is created largely with money from people who are giving money to the Clinton Foundation?

JA: Yes.
...
“My analysis is that Trump would not be permitted to win. Why do I say that? Because he has had every establishment off his side. Trump does not have one establishment, maybe with the exception of the Evangelicals, if you can call them an establishment,” said Assange. “Banks, intelligence, arms companies, foreign money, etc. are all united behind Hillary Clinton. And the media as well. Media owners, and the journalists themselves.”

www.rt.com/news/365299-assange-pilger-saudi-clinton/

But what Assange underestimates is the people. We beat them in Brexit, let's hope we take Trump over the line.

claig · 04/11/2016 10:45

"What if everyone’s wrong?

Trump has a path, and if the polls are wrong, it’s wider than thought."

www.politico.com/story/2016/11/clinton-trump-2016-polls-what-if-wrong-230712

Panic for the elites, the cheats, the swindlers, the warmongering kindlers, the insiders, the ones who think only they are the deciders, the ones in charidees, recipients of government freebies, the ones who waste the people's money and think it is funny, the liars pretending they are pious friars with their faith foundations and depradations, the sneering classes who think the people are arses, the superior who think the people are inferior, the greedy government grant guzzling grunts who think the people are twunts, the deceivers who mock the believers, the "teams" who remove all hope and think the people are dopes, the one percent who believe our democracy is for rent, the ones who say howdy to the Saudis, take their cash and the Middle East gets smashed, the ones who call the people deplorable, their contempt for the people unbelievable, they think we are all stupid and deceivable.

But what if the polls are wrong? What if the people show them? What if they queue up for hours, chanting Trump as they tramp to the voting booths? What if the elites realise they are about to lose? That's what scares the elites, that's what spells their certain defeat.

What if there is, in fact, a “silent majority” of Trump fans? What if Clinton’s banked stash of early-votes is insufficient? What if, as President Obama’s former campaign manager David Plouffe not so affectionately describes nervous Democrats, the “bed-wetters” are right?

“Our magnificent, historic movement has surprised the world and defied expectations at every single turn,” Trump told a crowd in Orlando this week. “And now, next Tuesday, we will have one more glorious surprise for the pundits, the politicians and the special interests when we win and return the power back to the people.”

Keep cool, Donald. Stay on point, Donald. Nice and easy, Donald, nice and easy, make the elites mighty queasy.

Chris1234567890 · 04/11/2016 11:10

Claig, how wonderfully lyrical. You do have to draw parallels with Brexit, I agree that the sneering contempt for the electorate will be the democrats downfall, irrespective of any scandal, slur or even illegal act Trump may have committed.

Will the US election mirror the chaos over here? Quite probably. Trump wins the peoples vote, and Corporate America launch legal challenge after legal challenge against the result. Another nation utterly divided and heading to civil unrest. Germany, France, Holland are currently voiceless, I can absolutely see that following yesterdays disgraceful verdict from our judiciary, western democracy is about to be challenged in a way never before seen across all western nations. One thing is for sure though, this persistant demonstration of muscle flexing from the 'establishments' of the UK, Europe, the US against its own people, will never end well.

claig · 04/11/2016 11:38

'Will the US election mirror the chaos over here? Quite probably. Trump wins the peoples vote, and Corporate America launch legal challenge after legal challenge against the result. '

I don't think so because Trump is not like our useless elites. He is not Oxbridge, it's not a game. Trump is an order of magnitude they have never seen and have never dreamed of. Trump is going to sort them out so fast their feet won't touch the ground. They are scared and they are right to be. Crooks will be going to jail. If Sheriff David Clarke is put in charge, God help the elite crooks, because no one else will.

The people of the world cannot believe that someone like Trump has got so close to victory, just as they couldn't believe that the British people could ever beat the Establishment here and across the entire world, the IMF, the OECD, the BBC and all the rest of them.

If Trump wins, the whole world will change and elite crooks will be on the run worldwide.

We the people (of the whole world) are going to win and we will owe it all to the great American people who defied their pollsters, their lying media, their elites and their cheats.

claig · 04/11/2016 12:22

This was Judge Jeanine Pirrro on Fox just now. It is a smoking interview, the youtuber has described it as "an explosive interview". It starts at 9.10 into the stream. Watching this you can see how different America is to our Oxbridge chum system, with our whitewash enquiries, all chums together stuff.

Watching this you can see what is going to happen to the elites, not just the Clintons, but others as well.

America has top people and Trump will be top action. Once Trump starts on the elites, it will spread to elites worldwide. The level of panic in elite circles will have only been matched by the panic on Earth when the Gods on Mount Olympus got out of bed on the wrong side, and if Judge Jeanine and Sheriff David Clarke have a role in it, then we will all start feeling sorry for the elites. NOT.

SerendipityPhenomenon · 04/11/2016 15:42

I love the idea that calling Blair "Bliar" would have immediately stop him in his tracks. He was very widely called that throughout his Prime Ministership, yet whatever you think of him, he never lost an election. At some point adults have to realise that name-calling just makes the name-caller look extremely childish.

claig · 04/11/2016 16:12

'He was very widely called that throughout his Prime Ministership'

But not by members of the political class, only by ordinary people. If we had a Trump, he would have said it openly and that would have finished Blair's campaign easily.

I have just watched what I think is a disgusting propaganda video against Trump and Trump supporters and even America on catchup, BBC Newsnight. It is worth watching to see how the Oxbridge teams work, how they do it without people even noticing because it is constant.

The concerned looks, the leading questions, the shirt with Oh!, talk of living through the thirties, fascism, Hitler, "so if he wins you will think of America as a racist country?" "do you think his supporters are racist?"

It is constant, the media all do it, there is hardly ever anything positive about Trump on the media.

claig · 04/11/2016 16:25

Among all the talk of racism, the BBC won't show the 64 year old homeless black woman protecting Trump's Hall of Fame Star in Hollywood being abused by people who oppose Trump and as she lies on the floor they laugh and say "hey, where's Donald at?" "isn't he supposed to protect you?" because that doesn't fit the narrative

claig · 04/11/2016 16:28

Can you imagine if Trump supporters did that? The "teams" would be all over it, it would be headline news in Britain, all over the EU and all around the world. But because it happened to a Trump supporter, not a peep out of them, the mainstream media.
