THERE ARE PEOPLE LIVING IN MY STREET
IN HOUSES

HOUSES

Its not right. MY HUSBAND PAYS TAXES

SlightlyJaded · 25/01/2012 16:43

Or perhaps those on free school meals should have to wait until after lunch and forage through the leftovers.

That'll learn 'em.

And thus the debate jumped the shark in to hysteria waters.

You know last time I got worked up about something important to me I was chastised by the Grand Mumsnet Message Deleter.

Excellent idea, SlightlyJaded. We'll just tell them that there is no stigma attached to bin-surfing and they'll be fine with that, because if they are poor they are obviously stupid, right?

clemetteattlee · 25/01/2012 16:49

The NHS is paying me to sit here and read mumsnet. I'm not even trying to get a job. I am offering myself as bait...

WibblyBibble · 25/01/2012 16:50

I know someone on benefits and they have actual stuff like shoes and books and stuff. Anyone would think maybe they had a job previously or something and had merely fallen on hard times rather than having spent their entire life on benefits living in poverty, which must be the case because it's well known that people on benefits are an entirely different type of person than people with jobs. Obviously they are secretly selling drugs cash-in-hand and should be filling in a tax return. But they are still lazy and benefits are too high because people can afford to eat food that isn't from a skip when they claim them even though that's because they are all lying and working really but not as hard as people who pay tax obviously. And they have 500 children including 350 who are in care because they take drugs while they are secretly working but don't get up until 11.

SlightlyJaded · 25/01/2012 16:51

You are so right MrsDV - a kind of temporary portaloo type building would be more than adequate. Personally, I don't know whey they don't build 'Benefit Camps' out near factories and on derelict building sites. You could have a large temporary 'club house' in the middle that acts a school during the day and Bingo hall by night.

OtterNonsense · 25/01/2012 16:51

Hang on, that's not right.

If they are on benefits they are obviously manipulating the system so that they can live high on the hog on my taxes. But, if they can manipulate the system, they can't be stupid, can they? Confused

Bastards.

Disembowelling is too good for them. Sad

TattyPole · 25/01/2012 16:52

The NHS is paying me too clem
To write my dissertation not to post on Mumsnet Grin

FreakoidOrganisoid · 25/01/2012 16:55

WIBBLY I KNOW! THE SINGLE MUM IN MY STREET (ME) GOT A PARCEL DELIVERED TODAY. HOW CAN SHE AFFORD TO BUY STUFF? SHE MUST BE COMMITING BENEFIT FRAUD. IN FACT SHE HAD A MAN TO STAY ONE NIGHT IN AUGUST. I THINK SHE'S A WHORE

SlightlyJaded · 25/01/2012 16:56

Exactly Otter - though I still think the pointy hats with 'Scrounger's Child' emblazoned on the front, are no bad thing. At least a 'Taxpayer's Child' will know who's who and won't accidently befriend one of them

MooncupGoddess · 25/01/2012 16:56

Bring back the workhouse! The energy provided by workshy scroungers pounding the treadmill all day could be channelled into the National Grid for the use of hard-working taxpayers!

TattyPole · 25/01/2012 16:57

Freakoid Grin

GrownUp2012 · 25/01/2012 16:58

Can you make that a tummy tuck on the NHS while you are at it? If you are removing half my bowels I can get some free gastric band treatment too. I'm screwing the benefits system, I might as well screw the NHS too. [benvy]

MixedBerries · 25/01/2012 16:58

I think it's all PC gone mad, expecting disabled people to have a decent standard of living.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 25/01/2012 16:58

In the old days they had a man come round an count your chairs. One too many and you had to sell it!
QUITE RIGHT TOO!

WHAT DO THEY NEED CHAIRS FOR ANYWAY? IT ONLY ENCOURAGES THEM TO SIT DOWN!

MY HUSBAND PAYS TAXES!

KatieScarlett2833 · 25/01/2012 17:00

I PAY MY OWN PUBLIC SECTOR WAGES!

FRANKLY, I'M NOT WORTH THE MONEY. CAN I SACK MYSELF?

MooncupGoddess · 25/01/2012 17:01

They are only disabled because they spend £1000 of taxpayers' money on DRINK, FAGS and CAKE EVERY WEEK! Twelve hours' hard labour a day and a diet of dry bread and seasonal vegetables would sort them out in no time.

I'm going to campaign for my DCs school to stop setting according to ability, and start dividing the classes into 'Scroungers' Children' and 'Taxpayers' Children'.

Much healthier and more satisfactory all round.

And if the 'Taxpayers' Children' get the best teachers, resources, etc., and the 'Scroungers' Children' have all their lessons in the cloakroom, that is perfectly fair BECAUSE MY TAXES ARE PAYING FOR THAT WHOLE SCHOOL.
