That story broke in September I think? I've been wandering around like ever since. WTF would you penalise anyone for managing to die not quite as quickly as expected?! Just totally baffling and awful.

She being treated at Addenbrooke's. After being misdiagnosed with anorexia for over 3 months by our local hospital. .

She's doing OK, but has been undergoing treatment for quite some time now.

Addenbrooke's is a fab hospital - she is in the best hands. that they misdiagnosed her though. Poor girl.

All changeovers from IB to ESA will be completed by March 2013 apparently. They started in April 2010. Mine was done in July 2010, because that was when my award ran out, so I was due for reassessment anyway.

Apparently my epilepsy vanished between when I was awarded IB in July 2008 (after 6 years of fighting for it!) and July 2010. I wish someone would tell my misfiring synapses that!

Oooh! I just Googled to try to look at the blog - and the top 3 results are us - on fb and twitter!! Two days ago there was nothing on Google.

sorry hunty. guess i have it coming then. my dla renewal pack is on the side in the kitchen and has been there some time - i just can't face it - i feel so convinced that even though things have gotten worse and i was hospitalised briefly last year they will decide i'm suddenly magically fine now

So much frothing since yesterday! I'm off to catch up. Frothed a lot in the staff room at work today. Got myself all angry.

I'm happy pootling around looking for campaigns. It's nice to bring the froth together with the solutions.

SAF - what are you claiming IB for? Some things get more descriptors than others under ESA - but the descriptors are notoriously hard to find online, whereas for IB they were freely available. With a little digging, I might be able to find them again (should have saved the link) and see if you can get the 15 points you need for ESA under various descriptors. PM me if you don't want it to be general knowledge. It might have to wait until after 9.30pm-10pm ish though, need to get the dc's to bed before I start hunting for the descriptors!

Having so many blog author's is working so well - everyone has a different angle, knows about different bits and pieces and it's all flowing together perfectly.
