Caitlin Moran tweeted to the single mum whose blog I linked to earlier, telling her she would like to buy her a bed for downstairs.

For some reason it made me cry. There is decency and kindness in uk. We just can't see it for all the fucked up austerity shit.

That mum is a friend of mine from another site, MmeLindor. She's lovely and trying to deal with so much, more so than she blogs and tweets about - I hope she accepts Caitlins kind offer. India Knight retweeted her just after I did and was seemingly flooded with advice and offers for her then came the offer from Caitlin. So lovely.

Still all frothed out here but just like Arnie, I'll be back

So lovely to hear about those kind offers. I saw this blog post too on Twitter and was so saddened, looked through some of her other posts and couldn't believe the state of her damp house and how the council have just left it that way :(

Dear Lovely Frothers,

I've done all the setting-up I intend to do on the blog, though it could do with loads a couple of tweaks that I think others are going to address. The fact that the blog, FB page and Twitter group have taken off so well after only a few days is quite incredible. We have the makings of A Movement on our hands here, and so we really should keep posting and sharing. Think of it as a small child destined for great things - keep feeding it Grin

Search engines pay more attention to sites with frequently-added content (Mumsnet gets crawled every couple of minutes) so it is important to KEEP WRITING! I know we're all so frothing angry, we definitely have plenty to say ... encourage others to post, as well :)

I'm having a break before getting back to reading & posting. Am full of frothy love for so much righteous indignation - and the determination to do something about this godawful mess!

:) You can blog by email or text if that's easier? Go to settings in your posting dashboard here, then set up your phone or email to blog. With the email option, you mail your post TO the address you've just set up.

Knotty - saw the Macmillan's petition and signed, but what I simply cannot understand as with so many things at the moment, is how anyone can possibly think that is a good idea. What is wrong with some people?

I'm not feeling particularly frothy tonight. In fact I feel quite de-frothed. I feel Sad, and scared, I seem to be being hit from every and all angles, and I don't want to have to struggle any more than I already do.

Losing money from my TC's (works out to around £10 a week lost from April, plus I lose DS3's extra £10 a week in January, so by April I'll be £20 a week down), Charging me to use the CSA, and taking money away from what I'm meant to get, then after a few years to get used to that, I'll lose all benefits through the ESA/JSA trap.

So despondant tonight. Can't see a way out, can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. The only thing I can see at the end of the tunnel is no money to feed my dc with, no money to keep a roof over their head with. Sad.

I need to have a night off from frothing and find some funny threads to read I think, to recoup some frothing energy.

Been thinking some more (terrible habit), writing isnt my skill unfortunately but I would really like to keep contributing to the blog. What do people think of the idea of getting guest bloggers from other blogs to write for us? I would be willing to start to contact people to get the ball rolling. Hopefully this will widen our net a little in terms of audience.
