Hello all,

Just a quick update on Mum and twins. Our prayers have been answered! Mum is out of intensive care and both babies are now in the same hospital. Dad is also out of hospital (apparently he was taken in with what looked like a suspected heart attack, but is now thought to be a reaction to the stress - fairly understandable in the circumstances!) and all the family appear to be the road to recovery.

Best news is that Mum has been well enough to see the twins. I don't have a great deal more info, but the message from our church prayer chain is that they are out of danger now.

Obviously, they have a long way to go before they are all home and can get on with the straighforward task of managing with a toddler and two tiny babies! But the immediate danger has passed and we have lots to be thankful for - praise God!

Swaliswan continuing to pray for your move and your DH.

DutchOma · 15/10/2009 09:07

Oh praise God for that wonderful news TD. Continuing prayer for that family. How is the older toddler coping?

Thats wonderful news, YT, fantastic, I'd been wondering how they were!

Praying for MJIM's N, that she is better soon.

Have any of you ladies got any bright ideas? I was trying to organise a day's retreat for 3 of us about to be licensed. Now one has dropped out, and the other isn't sure whether she can make it (and she's on holiday atm). Am looking for Friday 30 October, but it really needs to be within an hour's drive of Ely, and will probably be just for me.

CaptainDippy · 15/10/2009 11:07

Wonderful news YTD Keep us updated when you can. Continued prayers. Thank you.

Poor little N and poor YOU. Praying all is back to "normal" asap. xx

I am so slack for not posting on here in what seems like forever. I have good news - dsis has now been dry for 6 months Praise God. Dneice is doing really well and has settled into her school beautifully.

All good with us. Ds1 is dressed as an alien today (as are the rest of his class), and O is now 14 months old and just getting over a chest infection.

Morning all

Prayers aplenty.

Could do with a few for what could be a very difficult week ahead for me, with my bosses trying to work out if the project I'm running can continue in its present form or not. I'm not good with change, and I don't want it to fail, but I can't work the way they needed me to . Prayers for inspiration for them please.

CaptainCaveman · 17/10/2009 16:08

Praying, praying, praying

O has gone off on his first overnight visit to my parents, with his big bro. I am praying they are all ok.

I missed you all too. I need a spiritual kick up the rear to stop being so lazy and start spending more time with our wonderful God.

bronze · 17/10/2009 17:00

I've not heard anything. I don't actually know him but hes friends with quite a few of my old church friends so am not sure if he actually goes to that church now.

bronze · 17/10/2009 18:30

friend has posted on fb " can't quite believe it. God bless you buddy. I hope you're already set to work doing knock throughs and extensions in the sky. You were one of the best. All the love. x"

Looks like hes with our maker

MaryBS · 17/10/2009 18:41

Sorry to hear that Bronze. Praying for his family in their loss. Are you OK?

bronze · 17/10/2009 18:55

I'm fine, as I said I didn't actually know him. Just a little worried about the friend who said that above thing.

amberlight · 18/10/2009 07:20

CC, maybe you've been with God the whole time . One of the wisest things my SD said to me is that God is with us everywhere, in every thing we do, whether we're praying or not, here or not, in church or not. It helped me to think of it that way, because there's certainly plenty of times when I can't find the words for prayer.

Prayers anew for all

ZipadiSoozi · 18/10/2009 18:50
