@OnMyWayToSenility my grandmother said she is coming back as a dog because the family dog was so loved, and she said it would be great to be spoiled and cooed over like Lassie is! Haha. We used to all laugh but she meant it. I think. Bless her, she was very funny and kind .

You think a lot like me, OP. I agree with you on a lot of things. :) just apart from jesus being God or son of God, it is there we differ. For me I was a Christian before but for me, every single sunday at church, was worshipping jesus and Thank you jesus, at every single sermon and I left. I just thought I will keep up my worship at home.directed to God only. And then I was also experiencing a lot of things with bad spirits in the home. I was having a rough time of it. And then I prayed To God, please let me meet a good and religious man and literally weeks later I kept bumping into my husband. I told him I was a Christian and he said no problem, I am a muslim and I have an open mind , I didn't mind. We connected and he told me about jesus's place in islam. We believe he healed the blind and the leper and rose the dead and we believe he was a miracle birth. We also believe that he is going to come back and kill the one eyed beast, aka Dajjal. You see all these people like beyonce and Rihanna, they all worship him and the devil by doing their one eye symbol. We believe he will come back and deny he is God, he will kill the dajjal, and then live the rest of his life, I.e get married and have children and then ascend to heaven again to be with Allah. The one true God. Christianity preaches one God, just like Islam. I fell in love with it and I knew that is what I was searching for. I took my testimony of faith and have been a muslim and married with children being raised in this faith for almost 2 decades.

As for the pp, asking about pork and claimingI dont know much about pigs.... I actually stopped eating pork even before I was Muslim as my muslim friends wouldn't eat it and I also wondered why. So I did my research, pigs have hepatitis and tape worm. They also eat their own poo, which contains parasites and maggots from flies that stay alive inside them. It has been proven scientifically on YouTube that if you pour coca cola on raw pork, it causes the maggots to rise still alive! Pigs also dont have sweat glands so they sweat internally. Pigs are also churned whole in a machine to make sausages, so their brains, private parts and anus, lungs, liver, flesh, blood and stomach contents all go into the sausages. Yuck!

Anyway, insects are a healthy source of protein. We'll all be eating them in a few years' time. In any case, not all pigs have internal parasites (though I imagine wild boar do) and internal parasites don't live in the cuts that we tend to eat.

I don't actually mind eating all parts of an animal. It avoids food waste. As long as it is thoroughly cooked through with food hygiene observed throughout, pork is no higher risk than beef, chicken or lamb. But if you want to be sniffy about it because of your faith, more power to you.

No. Not according to my mum or the church she sent me to as a teenager. Having sex before marriage ensures an easy ride to hell. When I had an unplanned child out of wedlock (in my mid 30s) I spent the first year of her life expecting to find her dead in her cot as punishment. I don’t go to church anymore.

Yes, as a non believer you reserve the right to live your own life as you see fit, within the parameters of the law. I don't want to get into a debate about abortion either, but I would make an exception for cases where it would be a medical necessity.
