I hope everyone’s week is getting off to a good start. This made me laugh and reflects the kind of energy I’m bringing into my week with me!

I made the most of the dark moon to clear some unwanted energy and there’s a stillness in the air that I’m enjoying today.

We went out up onto the moor this weekend- teeming with growth, both plant and animal but felt angry to see so much rubbish left around. We gathered up as much as we could and I apologised to the spirit of the place on behalf of other humans for the destruction. Makes me think of speakout’s wolf stone magic a while back.

My week is off to a good start too YashmisCrone I feel a light calm energy. I love that idea of a wild woman in the woods.
I am glad you mad the most of the dark moon- yesterday was a time for tending to my roots too.
I am just back from Lidl, it was so quiet, quite a pleasure to shop, and bought myself a tray of Sempervivum- witch's leeks- all different varieties. They were marked down in price, not sure why as they are in a strong juicy condition. Just perfect for planting in odd stoney corners of my garden.
A new moon today, new energy and manifestations. Welcoming the energy of the horned goddess

Good afternoon soul sisters - that's me to a T Yashmis !

Speakout the houseleeks are, among other things, said to protect a house from being struck by lightning when they are planted nearby. A neighbour strimmed my front lawn once last year as a favour and I thought he'd also removed all the houseleeks, but this year some have reappeared.

Yesterday I nipped outside and saw a pigeon on our garden wall, not the typical wood pigeon, smaller and more delicate. On second glance, I saw it had coloured tags on both legs - racing pigeon.
I nipped indoors and got it some mixed seeds that I usually scatter on a salad and put some water in a container for it. It looked healthy, it had a good feed and a drink then walked away.
Here's hoping this photo is the right way up, I had to rotate the image when I cropped it, sometimes mine don't display correctly.

That’s a lovely story about you giving sustenance to the pigeon and sending him on his way BlankTimes , I bet he’s glad he chose your garden wall to stop on!

Hot day here- I’ve just emerged from my ‘work room’ into the garden. DS commented that it reminded him of an Indonesian temple in there, with chanting playing in the background and incense burning.. works for me!

It’s lovely to get outside now and sit with the bees as they forage in the lavender. I think tonight’s tea will be cooked out here.

Good evening sisters. Lots of positive energy on the thread today, so good to hear! I'm just back from a yoga practise and have lit some candles to make my lounge feel cosy and welcoming. Thinking about the new moon and what I hope to manifest in this cycle. The last cycle was a bit of a roller coaster ride for me, but I feel like I've taken a lot from it and made some significant changes in my thought patterns.

I'm hoping for a restful nights tonight. On Saturday I went to a women's cacao ceremony (in a garden, all very safe!) it was a fabulous experience, and exactly what's needed right now, but there was a quite a bit of emotion and a lot of much needed release, and I've been feeling the after effects!

Speakout glad your week has got off to a good start. The witch peeks sound interesting. I didn't realise they were for protecting the house - thank you * Blanktimes!

Yashmis* the meme you shared made me smile! I love this idea too. I share your anger about litter, it makes me furious too. I really don't understand how people can leave such a mess and spoil our beautiful woods and countryside. It makes me wonder what goes through their heads to think that's ok.

Blanktimes* it was nice to read about the racing pigeon. These little things we can do for our feathered or furry friends can make such a difference. I believe that they know the people who take care of them and I return they help to take care of us.

BlankTimes your visitor is so sweet, poor thing mies from home, at least he had some nourishment and a rest.I remember many people keeping racing pigeons when I was a child, it doesn't seem such a big thing nowadays. YashmisCrone I love the sound of your enchanted Indonesian temple, such a divine part of the world, nominally Islamic, but most people pay only lip service and still practice an animistic earth based religion, tiny offerings of flowers , food and incense at thresholds. I know your son visited Indonesia, it is a magical place.
VioletCharlotte I love hearing of your women's groups, they sound so nurturing, I haven't found of anything similar near me. I am glad you have found such a way to feed your soul.

Back to work today after a quiet weekend, so I am up early to fit in my yoga practice before I start.
A lemongrass and lime spa shower- will transport me to the Orient for a few minutes and refresh me for the day.

I'll be tapping in at 8am again. Today feels like the calm after the storm, since yesterday started with my DP waking up feeling unwell and ended with her staying overnight in hospital! She's covid negative and full of antibiotics so should be back home today (I hope!) and I'm going to make sure the house feels lovely, safe and healing.

It is actually my partner who is unwell, and the rose is her flower so very appropriate (I'll try avoiding calling her 'DP' on here, since its confusing in various ways). She's awake now and feeling much better (well enough to complain about the coffee ) so hopefully will be sent home soon today.

I had to come and share my news as I am excited!
I have been very disconnected from my path in the last few weeks, far too many demands on me meant that I just needed to pack it all away as I felt so guilty with my altar staring at me unused.
Then....I stumbled on something while browsing the internet. I have been looking for a besom for quite some time, but it had to feel right and I have found someone who makes them. I looked at details for ordering and delivery to find that she lives very close to me!
I have now arranged one to my specific requirements and all being well shall collect it next week.
I feel tingly all over!

I’m in the midst of a testing week work wise but the dark moon work I did is allowing me to approach it with certainty that all will be well.

It’s a beautiful day again and my first sunflower is beginning to bloom. I’m soaking up it’s powerful solar energy and sharing it here for others who need it 🌻

I'm happy to report my partner's back home and well on the mend - thank you for all your well wishes. The house had a horrible 'sickroom' feeling for a couple of days, but I've cleaned and laundered the lot, and she loves a good smudge so we're going to give the house a thorough airing and cleansing tonight.

Ogress glad to hear your partner is home and on the mend. Airing and cleansing is always nice to do after illness. Paractical, energetic and symbolic.

Keyboard pixies!!

My DH has taken our son over to our field for a night of overcooking things on fires and a sleepover.
I have arranged for a friend to come over, for some much needed company. The plan is a walk (our village is beautiful to walk in) and then to sit in the garden and have a good old natter.
I have missed the company of others SO much that I am hoping this is going to be a very restorative tonic for me indeed.

I cannot get of out the back door into the garden as we are having the roof re-slated and their scaffold is blocking the door, so I have to go all the way round the house! Finally I hope to say goodbye to the ingress of water every time it rains.

I feel a real shift in my energy the last few days.

queenrollo sounds like a great plan for the evening. I am sure your DS and OH will have great fun too.

I yearn for an empty house- just for a few hours!

Evening all, I've had a busy day today so just checking in before I head off to bed. Today was my last day of work before 10 days annual leave. I'm off to Cornwall tomorrow to stay with a friend, I can't tell you how excited I am!
