Or Wiccans. or Pagans? Or anyone who is interested in a magical path or feels some magical stirrings.

A place for support, learning, swapping ideas and magical inspiration.

sweet orange and frankincense that sounds very sumptuous and exotic VioletCharlotte. I hope you had a restful night.

I have slept longer than intended last night, I have been using the "Bedtime stories for grown ups" for the past 10 days or so, and can't even get to the end of the first story before I drop off!! it seems to work so dramatically!
So a curtailed morning routine, short yoga before I dive into work.
I am making smudge sprays this morning for a shop order, so a large batch, while sorting out paypal and bank stuff for my web site.
Maybe tacos again tonight- they seem to go down a storm in this house!

Off for my shower, just a quick Sicilian lemon to bring some zing.

Have a magical day sisters.

I love sweet orange and frankincense, my current bath salt blend contains the same with geranium.

Those bedtime stories are magic aren’t they speakout Smile

Busy week here too but it feels like working towards clearing- amongst the pressure I feel there is anticipation for a new phase on the other side of what I’m currently dealing with. I’m working on focusing on that.

Also delighted to say that my recent magic to manifest the right affordable reliable car have been a success. A chain of unlikely events and synchronicities have meant that I have not been without a car in the process and the ‘new’ car is now in my possession. Apart from being a relief, I love the flow of manifestation work once it’s in action. We’ve said it here before but I really do think the trick is in believing it has worked and then sitting back and watching it unfold. Times when I’ve tried to push and prod once work is in progress have not been such a success.

I hope everyone’s day is magical

I enjoyed this reminder about the importance of taking care of ourselves even when we don’t feel we have the energy to:

“ Self love and self care.
Are tools that must be remembered when all the world feels edgy, not just when we are feeling shining, glossy and care free.
When our lumpy, hard, shadowy and brittle bits feel prominent, being brave enough to rest back in the arms of self kindness, lets good medicine grow and bloom from our centre, supporting us when the cold grey mist threatens to take hold of our bones.
This is when we need to feel our support and compassion for ourselves, this is when we need to listen into our hearts and hear ourselves say “I got you, I love you, I’m here, let’s do this together”

Lovely words on self care! And thanks all for the messages of support. I’m not great at self care but I’m at least learning to slow down a bit.

queenrollo · 15/07/2020 10:07

popping in to say hello.
I have, as always, been popping in to read but not felt up to posting.
Life in lockdown is full of contradiction and I am not always coping so well with the transitions it has brought.
The energy here is always wonderful though x

speakout · 15/07/2020 12:37

queenrollo glad you popped in. Life in lockdown is full of contradiction - such an accurate ovservation- I think many of us can relate to that- I know I can. Some things in my life are just amazing, and some extremely challenging. It's hard to know how to feel at times.
Transition is difficult, especially wha we face unknowns.
At these times I dig my feet into the soil and maintain my core- that is the most solid thing we can have.
And that is why self care and treating ourselves with compassion becomes more important during stormy weather. We are here for you too Craftycorvid - as a group we have a powerhouse of energy and love to give- you are a part of this, and take as much as you need- plenty more where it came from.X
Wise words YashmisCrone thanks for posting. Self care takes so many forms, but can allow us to journey more easily.

YashmisCrone I have chills reading of your manifestation- true magic in action. Yes it is wise not to prod and poke onec things have been set in action!
Such an example of how we can live magical lives, not just the odd piece of spell casting- which has its place, no doubt- but to integrate magic within our everyday lives that all our actions become enchanted. So pleased you have a good working car- enjoy the relief!

Blurpblorp · 15/07/2020 16:16

Hi everyone,

Haven't posted for a while - have been headlong into life as a mum although I'm happy to say, still weaving the everyday magic in. I've almost finished my connection ritual... it doesn't feel finished to me yet and I get the impression I'll know when to stop.

@YashmisCrone wonderful news about your car. I'm thinking about your sculpture, has she arrived yet?

@speakout I'm glad the sleep stories are working. There's something like hypnosis about them... I like the suggestion that the stories are a 'landing place for your mind', just as the mattress is for your body. I slept terribly last night but at 4:30am the Map Room story did the trick Grin

A happy happening; I've found my magical place that I know needs to be in my future and I'm going to manifest. So happy at the mere thought!

Bakedbeanhead · 15/07/2020 16:51

Hello ladies, I love reading your updates and hearing what you have all been up to.

I have had a rough couple of days, and feel really off with my energy. My husband says I have been on edge ! I think I have been watching too much news and my work place has been challenging to say the least. Just feel like the world is on my shoulders.

I am going to meditate later and try to have a good sleep 😴 Doesn’t help that I have been having odd dreams either. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I have been reading some past posts on this thread and decided to make a shrine with bits and bobs on, I think I will pick some lovely flowers from the garden to make me feel better.

Did have some lovely walks at the weekend, especially one up a hill it was so freeing, dreamt about being a bird later that night. Hope you all have a nice evening x

Blurpblorp · 15/07/2020 17:21

Hi @Bakedbeanhead ugh the news is such a bleak and angry space - I try to largely avoid it to the degree where I avoid becoming ignorant but don't obsess on breaking news like I have done. It just has too much of a detrimental effect on me. And having an altar in the house has been such a lovely, anchoring thing to do. I'm sure your shrine will be beautiful Flowers and enjoy the meditation!

BlankTimes · 15/07/2020 17:32

Afternoon everyone, hope you managed to get to Avebury a few days ago Crafty it's a place that needs multiple visits to get to know, but be prepared to be blown away at any time.

I'm sorry to hear your sad news, Frankincense and Orange EO's as mentioned by Violet and Speakout is a powerful blend, it will even lift the darkest grief. I also found Rescue Remedy very helpful. Nothing will make the grieving process go away, but some natural products can help you navigate through.

Yashmis wonderful to hear about the synchronicity and the manifestation of the new wheels, excellent, long may things run smoothly for you.

Blurpblorp Lovely ASMR, I will try the sleep stories too.

QueenRollo yes, things are certainly different these days, I don't think anyone's life has not been changed in some way over the last few months.

Bakedbeanhead try some grounding and centring, there are so many techniques, find one that suits you. The simplest way is bare feet on the earth and see/feel your roots spreading downwards until you're firmly anchored.

I'm finding lots of things that should be very simple to do are now making major inroads into my time and the resulting frustration from that needs to be dealt with. Then again, some things that occur are much better than I thought they would be, so they are special times to savour. The magic is always there, sometimes we just don't see it.

Bakedbeanhead · 15/07/2020 21:08

Thank you all for your kind and encouraging words, I am switching off the news and trying the grounding techniques. I think feeling cool earth beneath my feet will be a tonic in its self

VioletCharlotte · 15/07/2020 22:23

Hello everyone, just popping in to catch up. I've been to yoga this evening so feeling very relaxed and chilled...the magic is working! It's so good to see some old friends and also some new posters (or maybe name changes?) Anyway, it's lovely to have you all hear.

Bakedbeanhead avoiding the news is a good plan. I've also hidden some of the more negative pages and people on social media too (including some of the topics on here). It's so easy to get sucked in and there's s much confusing and contradictory information out there. My Facebook newsfeed is now full of pages about cooking, astronomy, yoga, animals and witchy stuff!

Blanktimes it was me who went to Avebury. It was fabulous, as always. I've been a few time's at different times of the year, this was the first summer visit and it was beautiful in the sunshine. DS came with me, this was his first visit and he was amazed at the 'whooosh' of energy he felt as soon as we arrived.

Here's a pic of the Beech trees...

Any Witches Here? Part 11
BlankTimes · 16/07/2020 03:51

Hi Violet I'm sorry, I originally mentioned you about it as I was sure from memory you'd said you were going, then I checked back upthread and saw that on Sunday Crafty mentioned Avebury, and I must have missed your post about it.
As always, I should have trusted my intuition!

So pleased you had a great time, the Beech trees are magnificent.

speakout · 16/07/2020 16:03

Some wonderful nurturing energy on this thread right now, Avebury sounds magnificent- unfortunately nearly 400 miles from my home.
Blurpblorp I love your magical place- sounds like somewhere I could sit a while.
I am feeling quite tired to my bones, working so much the past few months, it's not something that can be fixed with a tea and a sit down.
I dream of going to a yoga retreat for a week, tropical shores would be good, to feel the warmth on my skin as I gorge on papaya. Sunrise yoga on the beach and drifting in a hammock in the afternoon.
I don't think that will happen anytime soon, but I can dream.

I've also being feeling run down and worn out recently. However, we've booked a camping holiday in a few weeks time and I am SO excited. Just having something to look forward to is such a novelty right now, it's like I've forgotten what that feels like? And the thought of being able to flee the house, the horrible crowded shops and the humdrum of only being able to do half my job ... and swap it all of open green space and fresh air and new places I've never been. I don't even care if it rains all day everyday. I'll sit in the tent in my camping chair with a beer, and go for the odd rainy walk as happy as a clam.

...fingers crossed we actually get to go!

In other news, I'm reading another book from this month's Kindle sale: "Waking Up: Searching for Spirituality Without Religion" by Sam Harris and I really can't recommend it. This is a topic I'm super interested in, but I've never found a book that ever gelled with my feelings on the subject...

VioletCharlotte · 16/07/2020 21:34

I'm smiling yet again at the synchronicity on the thread, it's interesting how similar moods and thought patterns flow through our group with a ripple affect. Speakout your description of how your feeling really resonates as this was just how I felt last week; worn down and totally exhausted. Be kind to yourself and allow your self the time you need to rest. This to shall pass. I've been dreaming of yoga retreats too today, I'm actually considering booking one in Greece for next year (a yoga teacher I know is hosting it). I'm still mulling it over, although it's actually very good value, I struggle with spending that sort of money on myself. Maybe you could have a look at retreats? It's nice to have something to dream about.

Ogress great news about your camping trip! I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time. I have many happy memories of camping when my DC were younger. I agree, it's so nice to have something to look forward to. I've just arranged to go and stay with a friend by the coast in a couple of weeks time. Having something to think about and plan has really given me a lift.

Blessings to you all for a peaceful night's sleep.

Camping sounds wonderful. I did a fair bit before kids came along, and some family camping in France as a family which was really enjoyable, enjoy your holiday Ogress.
VioletCharlotte I love the synchronicity- and would love to know where the Greece yoga retreat is if you could pm me.
My lower back is complaining, a sure sign that I need to pay some attention. I have a yoga practice this morning for lower back pain, so will focus on that.
I plan to relax a little this weekend, need to replenish my essential oil collection, wnat to do some Tarot working- I will try not to do too much housework with my free time!
Much love soul sisters.

I am thinking about my tribe here as I enjoy some relaxation tonight.
I have been doing some root chakra and Kundalini - stirring the pot yoga.
Also found time to do some earthing. Cool damp connection feels so good. My feet are still tingling.
I am looking forward to a slower weekend, taking time to take stock and look out for all the little good things I may have missed in such a busy week.
I wish everyone a relaxing evening.

YashmisCrone · 18/07/2020 11:11

I hope my soul sisters are well this weekend.

My week has been a real mixed bag of experience- testing times and powerful magic tangled together into the beautiful chaos that is life. Whatever’s going on, there’s movement as is always the case!

So pleased to hear of your earthing and roots work speakout, in fact you inspired me to go out and connect with the earth myself. Such a simple yet powerful practice- my favourite kind.

So lovely to feel the energy of anticipation here as people make plans for breaks and getaways. Wishing everyone well with their plans.

I enjoyed a potter round some garden centres yesterday and came home with some new additions for my herb garden. This week my ‘lockdown veg patch’ has gifted us peas, green beans and courgette. Some of the tomatoes are starting to ripen and the cucumber is just starting to produce- it’ll be a while yet but their tiny form is bringing me joy. Simple pleasures!

Violet that tree picture is wonderful, such energy. Thank you for sharing that with us.

Love to all for a weekend punctuated with simple pleasures that make your heart sing

VioletCharlotte · 18/07/2020 15:23

It's a beautiful day here, I'm making the most of this sunshine and enjoying being in the garden. My plants are doing so well with all the rain and sun we've had. Just waiting for my sunflowers to bloom...won't be long now!

Speakout I love kundalini, I call it magic yoga. I go to an outside kundalini class sometimes, it's a really special experience being outside in the elements and amongst the trees and the birds. I always sleep so well afterwards. I hope you did too after your practice.

Yashmis I enjoyed reading about your 'lockdown patch'. Home grown fruit and veg tastes so much nicer than shop bought doesn't it? My Grandad used to grow all sorts of fruits and vegetables in his garden, when I smell tomatoes ripening in the sun, it always brings back happy memories of being with him in his greenhouse.

I'm meeting up with some yoga friends this later afternoon for some outdoor music meditation and sound relaxation. Really looking forward to it, the lockdown has made me realise I really miss the company of others when it's unavailable. I like my time alone, but do seem to need the social activity as well.

Love you you all and hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

speakout · 18/07/2020 18:47

Good evening, tonight has a tinge of late summer, that golden glow as shadows become longer.
It has been lovely to take a day at a slower pace- my back is much better and I feel calm. I spent some time cleaning my bedroom windows and arranging my personal stuff , toiletries, jewellery, washing brushes. I need a bedside lamp- the one I have is basic and tatty, I would like to treat myself to a new one to add a cosy glow to my room.
Takeaway tonight, I rarely cook on a Saturday night, OH is working in the dining room- he is on call, everyone else is resting in bed watching movies or playing games.
Giving me some much needed space!
I have made some good inroads to my website and ordered myself some essential oils , including lime and lemongrass- memories of tropical holidays in times gone by....

Wishing everyone a calm and magical evening.

Ogress · 19/07/2020 07:39

It lashed with rain all night here. I woke up several times and was lulled back to sleep by it drumming on the window. Heavenly!

I've also been feeling those late-summer vibes, @Speakout. Long, warm, golden evenings. I'm feeling inspired to get the firepit out again soon.

speakout · 19/07/2020 07:48

Ogress good morning I love the sound of rain on the window too.
It's a beautiful clear sky here today, and I have a quiet day to look forward to. A little pottering, perhaps a walk in the woods, some candle making, maybe a shopping trip at some point. OH is off work today and he enjoys cooking, so I don't have to think about feeding people today either.
It is a dark moon day, so perfect for nurturing and tending to my roots.

Enjoy the magic!
