Or Wiccans. or Pagans? Or anyone who is interested in a magical path or feels some magical stirrings.

A place for support, learning, swapping ideas and magical inspiration.

I have been holding you in my thoughts all day speakout

I feel incredibly energised at the moment so I have been concentrating a lot of that energy on you to use how you need today.

It's odd out in my garden, what my old next door neighbour always called 'witch weather' - it's certainly doing something to my mood.

littleninja · 16/08/2020 08:35

Sending strength for you @speakout. You are always so eager to hold others up with unwavering support and advice. Remember to stay grounded and you can weather this storm.

speakout · 16/08/2020 09:22

Thank you - this group is amazing.
I am glad to say the immediate crisis has passed and today is calm. We still have challenges ahead but for now things are good.

The support and energy from everyone has been fantastic, I could feel waves of calm and love flood over me from in the past couple of days.
A truly heartfelt bucket of thanks to everyone.

Speakout I'm so relieved to hear that the storm has passed. You've been on my mind this morning, so thank you for updating and letting us know you are ok. Will continue to hold space for you.

Yesterday was a busy one for me, as we moved DS into his new uni home. It's a nice house and he has a good sized room, which looks homely now it's filled with all his things. I left him busily messaging and arranging to meet up with friends who he has not seen for a while.

I slept deeply last night and woke up feeling refreshed. Today is warm, but pleasant, and the air is calm and still. I'm enjoying my morning coffee in the garden and making the most of the peace and quiet.

speakout · 16/08/2020 10:19

VioletCharlotte glad your DS is settled, it helps that he has a good place. Will he be living far from you?
Having our children independant is our goal as parents- so much of raising them is about detatchment.
But I am coming to realise that our bond with our adult children is light a strong piece of elastic, it can stretch far but will never be broken.
I am having a quiet day, I have had a long soak in the bath given myself a mini facial, and painted my toenails.
I wasn't feeling yoga today, needed much more gentle nurtuting.
I will make a curry in the slow cooker later for dinner tonight and have an easy day.

Glad things are calmer today. Yes my adult children are still my children to me and I feel their highs and lows as much as I did when they were 5.

About to walk the dog, collect some herbs and work on my new rather witchy FB page. It' got almost 30 likes in it's first 3 days and there's very little up yet!

VioletCharlotte · 16/08/2020 14:13

Speakout thank you. DS is about half an hour from me, so far enough for him to feel independent, but close enough to come home whenever he feels he wants to. I agree about the bond we have with our adult children. I must admit to enjoying the peace when he's away (and less mess!) but after a couple of weeks I start to really miss him and pop up for a quick visit. Luckily he's happy for me to do so, especially if I take the dog to see him!

I've been busy cleaning and sorting out the house today. It always feels so nice and fresh when it's done, and energy just seems to flow so much better. My dog has come to watch me though and is telling me with his eyes that it's time for a walk! I've been taking a bag with me on my walks to collect blackberries, there's so many this year. We've had rather a lot of crumble recently!

Elphame your witchy Facebook page sounds exciting. I'd love have a look if you'd be happy to share a link.

Hi all, sorry to barge in! I’ve been interested in this for a while so just saying hello 👋🏻 before I settle in and read all the other posts... starting with Part 1 😊

speakout · 16/08/2020 20:45

LioneIRichTea welcome it's always good to have new faces, we look forward to getting to know you.
Reading the old threads are a great things to do- I use them often too- such a wealth of information and inspiration. I see we are almost at the end of Part 11- time to set up the 12th Incarnation. That means 11000 posts- incredible!
I can't believe how dark it is getting in the evenings now, it's almost dark, at 8,45pm, in June it didn't get dark until after 10pm.
Having an early night after watching some TV and a peppermint tea. I have a challenging week ahead and need to be rested and centred.

I hope everyone has a restorative night.

@VioletCharlotte

Here you go- www.facebook.com/ladypoisonplants

The nickname was given to me by some friends teasing me a while ago and made me laugh. They won't drop it though so I thought I'd just embrace it! I have posts scheduled regularly at least once a day at the moment just to get something up but ongoing I plan to post once or twice a week.

YashmisCrone · 17/08/2020 11:01

Nearly 11,000 posts! Wonderful. speakout, thank you again for starting this place of magic, nurture, learning and support. What a gift to us all 💝

Violet I’m pleased to hear your DS is settling in well and glad you were able to enjoy the quiet for a while yesterday. Such a mix of emotions we experience as our DC grow and change, our role as mother changing but never ending.

Welcome LioneIRichTea, it’s good to have you join us- enjoy the previous threads and all the wormholes along the way!

Thank you for sharing your page Elphame- love the name! I’ve given it a ‘like’ and look forward to following as it unfolds

I’ve been reflecting of strength and resilience as a new week begins. Qualities I think grow well in the fertile soil that is our group. The power of female solidarity is really quite something!

Wishing everyone a magical week ahead

I hope it's ok to ask. I would be grateful if someone would be kind enough to let me know a way to check if you're on the right path in life? Something I could do myself that may let me know? I know we can change things and have power over which path to take but I would really like to know if there is something I can do to see if a path, which I want to take (heart vs head) would be ok to try? Thank you :-)

speakout · 19/08/2020 09:32

wellhelloyou great to have you here on this thread. I think we all have times when the way forward is foggy and we are unsure of which direction to move. Sometimes it is blindingly clear, but more often we simply move one step at a time in a small way.
None of us know where we are headed- it is a cliche I know, but learning to embrace the journey is more ipmortant than knowing the destination.
Learning to trust your instincts and listen to your heart is key- you already have many answers locked within you, give yourself the space to listen.
You may fine working with Tarot or Oracle helpful, not in a divination of the future but to give you clarity over your present situation and an understanding of how things are lying.
This thread is almost full, and won't accept any more messages- we are moving to a new thread- same old ( and new faces)
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/philosophy_religion_spirituality/3997761-Any-Witches-Here-Part-12

There is tea in the pot, and I'll look out for you- many others will be happy to help give you support and ideas I am sure.
