Thank you @Lessstressedhemum she’s ok now.

Today I’m blessed to have a Dh who goes out in the rain when he really doesn’t want to to save me a job.

DD unloaded the dishwasher which saved me a job .

Breathmiller · 04/10/2020 12:51

What a lovely thread.
My youngest son and I do a daily gratitude practice at bedtime but I'd like to join here too if I may? .

I have put my back and hip out today (which is NOT good in my line of work) and I am grateful for my family helping me as much as they are.

My dh doing all the house and family duties as well as finishing off the renovations in the bathroom (and dropping it all to help me to the loo when i need) and doing it all with patience, care and a sense of humour.

My teenage son is helping his dad and keeps coming in to ask how I am and see if I need anything.

And my youngest son is lying beside me in bed massaging my numb leg with a roller thing and sorting my pillows, duvet anytime I need to move.

I feel very loved.

I'm going to go back now and read more of your posts

I'm grateful for my family still taking up the slack while i let my back heal.
For my son having a good day at school.
For my teenage boy picking youngest up for me and taking him to the park .
For the great chats i have with my adult daughters over messenger throughout the day.
For mumsnet for keeping me entertained while resting.
For someone who felt she could share something personal with me. I'm grateful she trusted me with her difficulty.

That our roofline is watertight again, just in time for the wet weather.

Orchidflower1 · 07/10/2020 08:44

Dh surprised me yesterday with some flowers. Really cheered me up.

Lovely to hear the gratitudes of others.

Breathmiller · 07/10/2020 13:54

@SpeedofaSloth

That our roofline is watertight again, just in time for the wet weather.
That's something to be very grateful for indeed.

I am grateful for my dh setting up the bath temporarily in amongst diy to let me have a bath to ease my back out before i go to work later.
For the chance to work again more normally after a life on Zoom.
For Zoom keeping my business going over lockdown.
For a support group on here that is...well...supportive Grin
For everyone who comes to my work and keeps me in business.

I am having a quiet night in with my beautiful DD (7). I rarely have her all to myself, DH and DS are out. We are watching Secret Life of the Zoo, under blankets.

frozendaisy · 09/10/2020 20:22

Can I join in? Hard to find a positive board right now.

Three things I am grateful for today:

After getting our local postie to check I did have a split tyre and got a new one without having resort to getting the Mr to take to garage (it really isn't as dodgy as it sounds)

The house currently smells of aromatic Indian food for Friday dinner

I have a Zadie Smith novel from library to enjoy.

Orchidflower1 · 10/10/2020 16:13

Welcome @frozendaisy.

I’m grateful for a negative Covid test. Also grateful for snuggly blankets and throws.
