Good morning Queens,

I hope that everyone has found a moment to put on their crown before they go about their day- a reminder to honour ourselves whatever the day may bring.

BlankTimes thank you for the Mercury alert- very interesting. I’ll use your link to safely view later on 🙏

WoodlandWitch I hope the strange few weeks you’ve had have not been too taxing and that you’ve found time for yourself amongst it all. How exciting about the hand fasting- I’ve never been to one but I look forward to hearing about it.

Thanks for the link Blank Times!

BlankTimes thanks for the links, some very interesting information.

WoodlandWitch the handfasting sounds wonderful, what a lovely idea, you can really customise things to make it personal.

YashmisCrone yes I am wearing my crown today, it does wobble from time to time, but it reminds me to step gently and certainty. So dark today, and cold, waiting for the central heating engineer to arrive,
no hot water or heating right now. I have candles lit everywhere o bring cheer.

VioletCharlotte · 11/11/2019 21:33

Speakout oh goodness, I hope your heatings been fixed? It's absolutely freezing today, and I imagine it's much colder where you are. Sending warmth your way.

My crown wobbled a bit today too, it's not always easy to feel like a queen in an open plan office! However, the sky was clear tonight and I was guided home by the beautiful, almost full moon 🌕

Woodlandwitch the hand fasting ceremony is a lovely idea, I've never been to me either.

speakout · 12/11/2019 08:57

Good morning.

VioletCharlotte thank you. I have a contract with British gas- they were here within 5 hours and warm again. So all good.

I hope everyone finds time to enjoy their sovereignty today.

OP posts:
YashmisCrone · 12/11/2019 09:02

I’m so pleased your heating is fixed speakout, what a thing to have to cope with in these temperatures. Yet, with the grace and poise of a queen you light candles for good cheer. I think that’s beautiful.

I’m enjoying the reflections of embodying queen energy- walking in a gentle and determined way whilst we wear our crowns; learning to carry them, heads held high and cope with the wobbles. Such empowering visualisations. Yesterday I found myself silently asking ‘what would the queen of my life do?’ I think it’s a great way to remember to make decisions that work for our greater good. Thank you so much for inviting us to join you in this journey speakout

speakout · 12/11/2019 09:55

I think it’s a great way to remember to make decisions that work for our greater good.

That resonates so much with me right now. Sometimes the decisions we make seem to solve an immediate problem, but are not in our best interests long term.

I love the idea of our group as queens, sitting in velvet robes in front of the flickering fire.
Queen energy has such bad press, but it's simply having ownership and power over ourselves, not others.

Some interesting ideas about queen energy in this video "Tea with he Queen", I may have posted it before, I can't remember, but worth a watch.

Good evening sisters. Well, I slept like a queen last night. 9 blissful hours of peaceful sleep. Heaven!

"What would the queen of my life do?"
I love this Yashmis and have been using it myself throughout the day. It's amazing how things can look completely different when you're wearing your crown!

YashmisCrone · 12/11/2019 22:17

I’m loving all this queen energy and hearing how it’s manifesting amongst us. Such a joy to walk a new path together and look, as a collective through a new lens.

Sovereignty is such a powerful theme within this and I absolutely agree it’s about ownership of ourselves, not others. Very liberating.

I’m also loving the crown thing. Embodiment practice really works for me so today I focused on moving through the day aware of my crown and robes. I actually had to adjust the rear view mirror in my car because I sat much taller and straighter. A good reminder when I got back in at the end of the day to maintain my regal posture Halloween Grin

speakout · 13/11/2019 11:33

Good morning wise ones.

A frosty but sunny start to the day, forced myself to go to the gym this morning- which has been slipping a little of late, and I am so glad I went.
Housework may have suffered, but I am feeling calm and energetic.

I caught sight of myself in my rear view mirror as I was driving, and I smiled!

Afternoon you majestic lot.

This is an empowering concept and it really ties into our magical practice . We believe it , invest in it and it is. Queen of our own life. Imagine how that will raise our vibration. I'm grateful we all found each other and can share this.

This group has given me so much and even when I think I've little of value to offer I always feel welcome.

BlankTimes & YashmisCrone I appreciate your thoughts on that dream . I'm always aware that these things are terribly interesting to the dreamer and the equivalent of holiday snaps to everyone else . YashmisCrone your idea about the disease distancing me from others is completely correct. I have RA and at the risk of sounding self absorbed the reaction from my nearest and dearest has been somewhat muted . My DH has been a tower of strength . So I do feel that's it's just us two . I'm sure the ancestor work has added to my awareness of this life being so fleeting .
Your response was appreciated and it's great to see you too Smile
Self care is a subversive act Wink

Geeneverthoughtofthat I clear clean and organise my physical space first , that alone can bring developments . Jewellery holds a lot of power for me , I clean and bless it, pass on pieces when it feels right, I feel the energy for weeks afterwards .
The simplest exercise can be the most productive.
Lie down in a peaceful space ,close your eyes and pay attention to the images you see. Write them down . Ask your deity or ancestor for help , you'll get answers .

ChangeyMcChangeChange it was all about the turnip when I was a child . I look at the pumpkin and think American . We had a bonfire too which is in keeping with the old ways . I grew up in NI I'm not sure how it compares to the rest of the UK.

Cernunnos I'm glad to finally be a crone , I was never a mother either . There should be a name for it.
Your alter radiates energy , I bet your whole home feels good.
I love the turf maze , how did you discover it ?

Woodlandwitch please tell us more about your hand fasting .

SerafinaPekkalasbroomstick it would be a dream come true to live in a house like yours . Will you delve into the history of it ?
How do you feel there ?
What sort of energy lives there?

As always I'm out of time . Have a magical day fellow Queens .

VioletCharlotte · 13/11/2019 18:04

Lovely to see you filledsoda. One of my closest friends has RA so I know what a debilitating condition it is. She says the medication has some nasty side effects too. I understand what you're saying about feeling isolated from others. I think it's very hard for people to understand chronic conditions and how you have good and bad days.

After what's been a challenging day at work, I'm enjoying a comforting roast vegetable risotto for dinner, proper autumnal food 🍂🍁

YashmisCrone · 13/11/2019 19:22

Good evening wise women,
Uplifting as ever to come here and catch up on the posts.

Completely agree with all of the above! Beautifully put, thank you 🙏

I’m glad some of our ideas made sense about the dream, please don’t hesitate sharing them, I for one find dreams fascinating.

speakout very glad to hear you made for the gym and your rear view mirror moment made me smile.

Violet your tea sounds delicious, just the think for comfort on a cold evening. I hope you’re able to feel the pressures of the day melt away after the challenges you have conquered.

My inner wild woman won over this afternoon and took me out in torrential rain, hail at times deep onto the moors. I had the river to myself and it was glorious to breathe in the wild energy. The water was fast flowing and the colours of the forest magical. The atmosphere was ethereal and I felt at one with the spirits of the trees, stones and river, even made out the face of a nature spirit in the moss of a tree overhanging the river, limbs outstretched. The picture is a bit pixelated because I’ve tried to zoom in on it.

Came home soaked to the skin and completely renewed.

I’ll share the wild energy at 8 for anyone in need of some x

Speakout I think you juggled your priorities perfectly this morning!

FilledSoda please don't ever think you have little of value to contribute, all of us have something that's meaningful to another, it can be just a chatty remark or it can be deep knowledge, but it's ALL valued and appreciated Halloween Smile Sometimes the smallest of comments can create a serendipitous chain of things for several of us, we all weave our own tapestries but we share some threads with our sisters and blend and mix our colours together.

You'll probably find that as you get to know what helps and what doesn't with your RA, the people you know will shift in different directions, you'll be closer to anyone who shows some kind of understanding and those who don't will become more distant. I agree with Violet's wise words. People are strange when someone they know or are close to is suddenly in their eyes "changed" because they have an illness or chronic condition. Some can't cope, some don't know what to say, some are kind, others are understanding, others lend a sympathetic ear. the old saying about knowing who your friends are is certainly apt.
Look upon it as a cleansing thing, you'll find out who is worth spending your time with and who isn't. It's hard while it's happening, but it's another part of your learning on your lifepath. Flowers

Yashmis Oh the face in the tree is fantastic, I can't usually see things like that where everyone else can, but that one's so clear. A dryad without a doubt! The image is ethereal, better for being a bit pixelly, it adds to the ambiance.
The water is so lively, you can almost hear it rushing over the rocks.
The bird almost looks too heavy for the thin branch he's sitting on and something by his feet has shown as very white in the image, almost as if he's carrying a message or a post-it-note Halloween Grin

I think there's time for a nighttime beverage from the magic teapot, I'm quite taken with turmeric tea lately, tastes much nicer than it sounds. www.pukkaherbs.com/shop/organic-teas/turmeric-gold/

littleninja · 14/11/2019 07:11

Good morning sisters,

it's been a while but I have just caught up on your week and what a splendid one it has been. I love the Queen theme and will happily join you all. I do try to make sure that I take care of myself first so that I can then help others although I don't always feel worthy of such self love. Why is that?! Putting on my crown has helped me to realise that I am important, loved, worthy and am capable of whatever I set my mind to! In fact, I have put the wheels in motion, so to speak, for a new project for myself...I just got a piano! I used to play a little in my early teens and have been thinking about taking it up again for several months. Coincidentally, this week, a friend advertised that she had a piano she was offering free to a good home, I didn't hesitate and just paid the removal costs. It has been a little neglected over time and my DD spent yesterday evening lovingly cleaning it for me. It looks so much better already and although not the most beautiful looking piece of furniture, it is in full working order and I love it!!! There is definitely a connection there and I hope with some lessons next year we can make some 'beautiful' music together. I'm nervous that I will have forgotten what I learnt previously and my ageing brain will fail me in trying to learn something new and complicated but I am excited to rise to the challenge I have set myself. It's good to push ourselves out of our comfort zones sometimes isn't it?

I am really embracing the colder weather. It has been particularly wet here which is unusual but i love the colours, the smells, the darkness. The autumn photographs you have all been posting are are wonderful, keep them coming!

@speakout I loved hearing about Beatrix. Her site looks so peaceful, and I'm sure her soul is happy there frolicking with the horses! I used to live in a part of the country which was renowned for witches and was famous for several hangings. I moved from there to an area which was prevalent in the Wicca movement so I seem to be drawn to places with these types of energies. I must do more research into what is around me.

Last week my work took me to a local nursing home. I had never visited before and it was humbling to look into the tired eyes of the residents and see such a wealth of wisdom. I met a lovely old chap who delighted in telling me all about his younger days as a pilot. He reminded me very much of my Grandad whom I lost last year and miss very much. Such skilled people who have known a life so different to ours. This and Remembrance Day have had me sending thoughts out to my ancestors this week. I must get more creative about ways in which I can honour them.

Blessings to you all 👑✨

YashmisCrone · 14/11/2019 08:58

Thank you for the wonderful words about my photos sisters, It’s a joy to be able to share energy in this way and I love it when others can feel it. I was a magical experience and I’m moving into my day with the air of a fae queen! 🧝‍♀️ 👑

It’s lovely to see you here ninja and I very much enjoyed hearing about the synchronicity of the piano and your experience with a wise elder. Beautiful.

I’ve been reflecting on the images of queens from my tarot deck, a lovely way to embody the energy I think. I know several of us have this deck and I’m curious as to how the queens are depicted in others. I’ll dig out my other deck later and have a look.

Wishing everyone a majestic day 💫

FilledSoda · 14/11/2019 14:27

Hello sisters ,

It's a cold blustery day, all I want is to read by an open fire with my little pets on my knee.
I have the pets and a pile of much anticipated reading but sadly no open fire.
YashmisCrone of course would be striding out into the elements absorbing all that exhilarating energy.

I love your photos YashmisCrone, I looked at those before I read your text and the face really jumped out , that and the one long arm . Did you speak to him?

VioletCharlotte lovely to see you . Risotto is just the thing , it's always my go to comfort food .

BlankTimes thank you for that.
The point about the cleansing resonates with me , not just in the evolution of relationships but also in my own thought process . I am reassessing priorities and feeling and expressing gratitude so differently now. It continues to be a journey .

littleninja I hope the piano brings you hours of joy , these pursuits are good for the soul .
I'm interested in ancestor work as well . I've found such comfort on this path. I'd love to hear any ideas you have on how to honour our loved ones.

I made my 'cure for the common cold' soup yesterday , onions, tomatoes , peppers , lots of chillis and some mixed beans . It will clear the most unhappy sinuses. The heat has doubled overnight and today it's more like ' try not to cry' soup.
I won't let it beat me, I'm tough .
I had to have a frozen lolly after my last bowl Blush.

Stay cozy Halloween Grin

YashmisCrone · 14/11/2019 15:34

Oh I like a snuggle in the warm as much as the next person FilledSoda! Your day sounds like just the thing and your soup sounds very powerful- you’ll have the clearest sinuses around in no time!

I did talk to the tree spirit- liminal in nature- firmly rooted in the earth yet stretching through the air and over the water. Seen better on these pictures. I was directed to a specific stone at the base and given instructions as to some work to do with it. I felt blessed and strengthened by the connection and gave thanks for the magical encounter. My broomstick has been powered by this energy today Halloween Smile

Just jumping into the kitchen for a moment to say a quick hello. Busy and challenging times for me right now, but everyone's words are nourishing and sustaining me.
I love the fire others are feeling for the queen- it is a powerful place isn't it. And a beautiful example of why I love this thread- ideas are given, others run with it, we inspire each other, all the time weaving such beautiful golden threads into our tapestry.
Empowering others is empowering for us. This is powerful magic. When we become sovereign and feel joy when others find that state too.
This is what they were afraid of.
When women start rejoicing in each other we whip up a storm.
YashmisCrone those card images you posted were inspired- you are an inspiration to us all.
FilledSoda your words lift us. You give huge contribution to this group, and I love your insight and wisdom.
littleninja I love the fact you are getting a piano, and so good to see you here again.
BlankTimes you are so insightful, loving all these soup recipes.

Must fly, before my besom gets a ticket.

Good morning, dropping in to sit by the aga while I drink my morning brew. Such beautiful energy on this thread. This week has been a bit of a whirlwind, coming here makes me feel like I've come home 😊

Yashmis thank you for sharing your amazing photos, you've got a real talent there, you've managed to capture the energy of the elements perfectly. I feel like I'm there with you. And I love those tarot cards too, I may have a hunt for some of my old decks later as I'm curious to have a look at the Queens.

I LOVE this. Women are unstoppable when they come together and support one another. This is what we need to be teaching our girls from a young age.

Littleninja
I'm so excited to hear you've bought a piano, I'm sure it's going to bring you and your DD so much joy. I used to be play several instruments as a child (clarinet, recorder, flute), but stopped at secondary school when it became "uncool" Hmm I've been thinking recently about taking up the flute again (one of the many projects that I'm mulling over for next year!)

I'm working from home today, it's so cold and wet, I'm relieved to not have to endure the motorway. Candles are burning and essential oils in the diffuser, the house smells divine!

Blessings to you all ❤️

YashmisCrone · 15/11/2019 11:45

Thank you Violet 💖🙏

Sounds like just the day to be home with candles and your diffuser.

Glorious sunshine here atm, I’m working next to the open patio doors, soaking it all up, also with candles and oils Smile

Not sure how long I’ll last before the pull of the river wins over, I can hear it calling and I do need to pop out anyway...

Here’s some more contemporary queens from Titania's star tarot 🌟 👑

Wishing everyone a blessed day 💫

VioletCharlotte · 15/11/2019 11:59

I like those cards Yashmis I've not seen that deck before. Im picking up a gentle, feminine energy. Here's the Queens from my Zodiac tarot deck. I've never jelled with these for some reason. I'd be interested to know what feeling others pick up.
