MN Christian Prayer Request Thread - Moving through the summer........

Hello! DD1 at nursery and other 2 safely tucked up in bed, so just thought I would do a summary and start a new thread!

MaryBS - A customer (K) from Mary's would like prayers for her mother. Prayers for friend from another thread who has recently lost her DH. Prayers for N who is in hospital with ear infection, has just undergone an operation. Prayers for DH who is possibly going to be promoted at work ..... !?

RoseyLea - Has been very poorly with nasty chest infection - prayers that she would recover 100% asap - Praise God for how wonderful and understanding her DC's are being! Prayers for her bro who has been made redundant and is seeking new employment.

mumtogusandalbie - Is back!!!! Prayers for her as she deals with panic and anxiety - put caring, supportive people around her, Lord.

CaptainCaveman - Prayers for friends who recently found out they had lost their baby at the 12 week scan. On-going prayers for her alcoholic Dsis and Dniece, saw HV the other day (how did it go??) Prayers for CC as she copes with anxiety on the "mad-pills"

OnlyJoking - DH has MS and Brain Tumour - underwent surgery yesterday, waiting for news - keep praying ......

Sooz - Computer is broken, but is getting a new one from a nice lady at the library soon - Praise the Lord!!

BedofRosesitAint - Is going to be away for 3 weeks - don't forget her! Things are going much better for her!

QQQ - Things are going well between her and DH. Prayers for her as she struggles with the decision between letting her boys go to rugby or church on a Sun morning come Sept. Prayers for finances as they are v.tight this month.

notsofarnow - Is back!! Prayers for her as health is not good right now - eye infection & stomach bug. Praise God she is getting back into a "helm" position at church! Prayers for her as she copes with a new sort of relationship with her husband.

Podglet - Hello and Welcome! Prayers for her as she has a lot going on right now - Her DGran is in final stage cancer and she would also like prayers for a friend who is in the throes of a break-up from her DH after years of lying and cheating. Prayers for her as she "finds more faith"!

NotQuiteGrownUp - Prayers for DS1 who is grumpy and struggling with the new routine of being on hols and not at school. Prayers for a wonderful time as their family head off on hols for 2 weeks!

Worzella - Prayers for her as she struggles with each day....

CaptainDippy - DH starts new job on Mon 13th Aug - prayers for her as she is feeling v.anxious about the new routine that this will mean.

Prayers for Misdee, Peter and Girls as they wait to see if Peter can have a new heart ......

Prayers for those affected by this new outbreak of Foot and Mouth.

Prayers and Praise for all of these things and for those not mentioned too - esp DutchOma who is such a wonderful and special person to have on this thread, bringing her strength, humour and wisdom to all those with requests etc

Sis had a reaction to her medication. She is hopefully going to be able to see the alcohol liasion nurse today and they may keep her in for a week to detox. They gave her some drugs last night to help with withdrawal.
In the meantime, mum and dneice are staying at ours and I'm super stressed! (although not as bad as I felt on Sunday so Thank God for that). Having mum here is like I can't escape from dsis and her problems.
Will update later but would greatly appreciate your prayers for serenity .

CC I feel for you as I found it very hard to have my mum staying with us when she was still alive.
Praying for dsis and niece too, how old is she? Are you at work today? How are dh and ds in the situation?
Lots of questions, thinking of you.

Mary, what a lot of things you have to deal with. How is your ds? Are they enjoying the holidays?

Fab news OJ, welcome home Steve!

DO, dneice is 4.9 so really missing her mummy. She had the most appalling tantrum before granny took her to the hospital, over what clothes she was going to wear (she's a little chubby and her clothes are age 8, she won't wear anything she deems too tight!) Shocked me. I've never seen her behave so badly BUT she must be under enormous stress that she cannot express (plus she's always been allowed to get away with behaving like that )

Ds and dh seem to just go with the flow! Ds is quite excited to have his cousin staying, they do get on very well and (mostly) play nicely together. And yeah, I've been at work today - its a nice break

Of course JoMa - we haven't forgotten Yorkiegirl and her family - prayers will be said through Friday for her. How is she?

I've logged on to check about Peter. The heart transplant didn't go ahead, the heart was showing signs of disease... As well as praying for Misdee and Peter, can we pray for the families of those who have lost loved ones this night...

I'm thinking of Misdee and Peter, and Yorkiegirl, too.

Could I ask you to pray fo rme? I'm having a yukky day. I'm feeling low and really tired as well. Dh is not around - the 2 weeks he's taken off work are mostly being spent at his dad's new place (FIL's getting married next Sat) doing jobs and getting the place ready for the wedding. Dh is very stressed and we are having arguments I am finding it hard knowing how to cope - whether to cave in and go the way of saying whatever dh wants to hear to get him through this stressful time, or to speak the truth and make things harder (in the short term). It's blimmin' hard and I'm fed up with it.

when dh left the house this morning we did have a kiss and cuddle tho, and said "I love you, we'll get through this" so there is hope.

Hope the rest of you are all okay!

they grade the tumours 1-4 1 is not cancer and slow growing. 4 is cancer and aggressive

Oh OJ - sorry to hear the news. What happens now?

Sorry, only time for a quick catch up. Thinking of you all and hoping the sunshine continues for everybody.

Remembering those in trouble and need at the moment, esp with health issues and asking that they are given the strength to deal with what they face.

This is going to sound frivolous but please pray for all 3 of us tomorrow. I am off to London for the day to a friends hen party and DP is looking after DS for the very first time. God, give him patience and understanding and let them have some special time together (without Mummy interfering ) I know I will miss my little boy loads and am half dreading it - will try not to phone home more than every hour!

DO - as CD said, I'm regularly awake at that time, for about an hour... sometimes I use it as "quality God time"

I got my essay back already. I passed, but it got savaged... still, at least I passed.

RL - I think you have to tell the truth always, but often its not what you say its how you tell it. I think it goes beyond what's on the surface {hugs} to you darling...

Also remembering Misdee and Peter, and Yorkiegirl, and all the families...

Praying for your DH tomorrow Podglet - they will have an absolutely lovely time - and so will you! Try to relax and enjoy it!

I am tired - lots of playing, sun and fun today ..... going to do a few jobs, get my PJ's on and veg out.......
