MN Christian Prayer Request Thread - Moving through the summer........

Hello! DD1 at nursery and other 2 safely tucked up in bed, so just thought I would do a summary and start a new thread!

MaryBS - A customer (K) from Mary's would like prayers for her mother. Prayers for friend from another thread who has recently lost her DH. Prayers for N who is in hospital with ear infection, has just undergone an operation. Prayers for DH who is possibly going to be promoted at work ..... !?

RoseyLea - Has been very poorly with nasty chest infection - prayers that she would recover 100% asap - Praise God for how wonderful and understanding her DC's are being! Prayers for her bro who has been made redundant and is seeking new employment.

mumtogusandalbie - Is back!!!! Prayers for her as she deals with panic and anxiety - put caring, supportive people around her, Lord.

CaptainCaveman - Prayers for friends who recently found out they had lost their baby at the 12 week scan. On-going prayers for her alcoholic Dsis and Dniece, saw HV the other day (how did it go??) Prayers for CC as she copes with anxiety on the "mad-pills"

OnlyJoking - DH has MS and Brain Tumour - underwent surgery yesterday, waiting for news - keep praying ......

Sooz - Computer is broken, but is getting a new one from a nice lady at the library soon - Praise the Lord!!

BedofRosesitAint - Is going to be away for 3 weeks - don't forget her! Things are going much better for her!

QQQ - Things are going well between her and DH. Prayers for her as she struggles with the decision between letting her boys go to rugby or church on a Sun morning come Sept. Prayers for finances as they are v.tight this month.

notsofarnow - Is back!! Prayers for her as health is not good right now - eye infection & stomach bug. Praise God she is getting back into a "helm" position at church! Prayers for her as she copes with a new sort of relationship with her husband.

Podglet - Hello and Welcome! Prayers for her as she has a lot going on right now - Her DGran is in final stage cancer and she would also like prayers for a friend who is in the throes of a break-up from her DH after years of lying and cheating. Prayers for her as she "finds more faith"!

NotQuiteGrownUp - Prayers for DS1 who is grumpy and struggling with the new routine of being on hols and not at school. Prayers for a wonderful time as their family head off on hols for 2 weeks!

Worzella - Prayers for her as she struggles with each day....

CaptainDippy - DH starts new job on Mon 13th Aug - prayers for her as she is feeling v.anxious about the new routine that this will mean.

Prayers for Misdee, Peter and Girls as they wait to see if Peter can have a new heart ......

Prayers for those affected by this new outbreak of Foot and Mouth.

Prayers and Praise for all of these things and for those not mentioned too - esp DutchOma who is such a wonderful and special person to have on this thread, bringing her strength, humour and wisdom to all those with requests etc

Welcome back Sooz, we missed you! Mary went white water rafting at Holme Pierrepont and I met her and her family in the Goose at Gamston for lunch. So now I've met you and Mary! They are all lovely too.

Just been in the Isle of Man for 4 days with dh and ds, had a FABBO time and got home 11pm last night. Tired out today though! Ds was a bit freaked out by Castle Rushen and screamed til I took him out. Think the life sized models scare him.

Random question of the day from ds last night:
ds - mummy, why don't snails have any hands?
me - because God made them that way
ds - well how will they eat their food without hands?

CC - Hia, glad you enjoyed your mini break, its sooooo good to be back on line, I'm furious with the computer repair place, they were supposed to back all my details up, but they didn't and I lost everything: photos, documents, licences, etc etc..............

That will teach me a BIG lesson, especially on the photo side, (the last 3 years worth) boo hoo

Can't believe I'm awake at this hour, I'm knackered but have been tossing and turning and eventually had a panic attack. So, have got up and made a hot drink until I've chilled out a bit. Praying this passes soon and that I wake later feeling refreshed. Currently feeling dreadful , sick, anxious, cold and clammy. Please God help me.

I've woken up this morning with a migraine again. They seem to be getting worse recently - used to just get them with my period but they are certainly happening more often than that these days. Kids off to school (ds looks so sweet running out for the bus with his big sister) and waiting for our fab nanny to come and take dd2 out swimming so I can go back to bed. Its owwch. Please pray its better by teatime or I am going to have an awful evening, cos dh is away.

I'm not feeling great today - there is a "family cold" doing the rounds atm and I seem to have caught it - yuk. My parents have both had it for 4 weeks now so it's a persistent little blighter! I feel like I might be heading towards a Crohns flare-up as well, so please pray for God's healing touch. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu!

MOrning all - just a quick visit as 5 children here. Dear friends move tomorrow, to what God has called them to, so it is fab, but I am very sad as will miss them very much, they live on the same road and we have spent a lot of time together over the last 18 months. . They will only be an hour away but it is so far compared to a few doors.

Feeling a little better but still stressed and v.tired. Spoke to my manager first thing and I'm seeing her later to talk about my workload. I'm definately doing too much at the min as covering for a colleague who's off sick.
Also, read a book over the weekend called 'Damaged' about an 8 year old who had been abused for most of her life until she was taken in to care. Given my past history it probably wasn't the most sensible thing to read!! Hey ho, things will settle I'm sure.

I would love to be curled up next to the fire with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate, chilling out and relaxing. If only I could relax!!!
Please pray for peace and serenity to come my way, and that I can drink in the peace of Jesus. Amen.

Good morning all, oh sorry afternoon now, I am shattered after my mamouth energy level yesterday [little weed] I cleaned my kitchen after karate and swimming! today so far we must have played 4 board games, been fishing, remote control car racing........... think I will be pleased to go to work tonight for a well earned rest!!!

Before DS, I had a stressful job and they kept adding to my workload until I couldn't take any more so I do know what you are going through. Am hoping you can spare prayers for me. We are currently trying to buy a house and are within a cat's whisker of exchange (after nearly 3 months ) we have just found out that there is no consent for the extension - the council have to give a special consent for works to be done to ex local authority houses. The EA's and solicitors seem to be chasing their tales so I have spent an awful few hours trying to track it down. My solicitor has just had a go at me for doing this (even though she told me I could try and get it) and told me to stop interfering how dare I interfere in a house I intend to own??? Am shocked and saddened by her attitude over sojmething she could have resolved weeks ago. DP isn't helping because he is threatening to pull out on Friday if we haven't exchanged. There is nothing more I can do and I somehow feel this is all my fault for not picking up on it sooner. Soryr to tamble and I know it is trivial compared to some people's problems but I need your thoughts...
