A lovely new thread to continue counting our blessings.

Everyone is welcome, of any faith or none at all. Just drop by to pause for a moment and think of what has made you smile or has gone well for you, however small it seems.

Need some prayers again I think!

DS is poorly. Hoping it's just fever with a cold, but I know there have been cases of Scarlet Fever in his school and he is a susceptible child. He's had a lot of impetigo which means he is predisposed to it. The worry of him being ill, combined with the fact neither of us are paid either if he is ill is causing stress. Plus I'm under mega work pressure and being off is terrifying at the moment. I already need to take DD to hospital next week. Everything feels like it is piling on me. Just needed a little vent.

Fed up.

Gratitudes:

Paracetamol suspension
A warm house with a duvet for DS to snuggle under
DH on his scheduled day off today so, so far, I've missed a day with him
This thread for somewhere just to write things down Smile

Bless you all Kinky. Thinking of you and as Quakers say "holding you in the light" Thanks

My gratitudes this morning for ....

A hot cup of tea Brew
A gradually warming house
My DC's two bedrooms, a space each for them, however messy!
Coming downstairs to a kitchen and two other spaces for us to live out family life, cook an evening meal, and relax together every evening and other times
Friends - looking forward to going out with a few this evening
Employment law and good work policies which offer some protection and guidance to all as it looks like my job may be coming to an end
Good memories of rewarding work I've done with the children and families both here and throughout my working life
Future possibilities! (always good to be grateful for those too?!)

And like kinky, for this thread and friends here too x

He had an accident at his Boys Brigade about month ago while they were playing football and cracked the op of his head against the wall - severe concussion. He was quite poorly for a couple of weeks but he is on the mend, still has headaches but the rest of the symptom are gone now. Thank you for asking. That's what happens when you have a bunch of big 16-18 year old boys charging about competitively in a confined space.

Kinky, hope thins settle down at work, soon.

gratitudes -
small, everyday blessings
