A lovely new thread to continue counting our blessings.

Everyone is welcome, of any faith or none at all. Just drop by to pause for a moment and think of what has made you smile or has gone well for you, however small it seems.

Am so grateful for my precious, loving ds, I want to freeze him in aspic before the teenage hormones kick in and he's gone forever

DDaftDog- cause of pleasure in our house and helps unite us when we're not. At all.

Safety, health-ish and possibilities. And the ability and opportunity to work, to feel relatively safe.

Good night all. Sleep tight.

Sunny dog walk with ds, warm home with room to escape dh
And wine as it's Sat!
Would like the comfort of faith. But truly cannot believe in anything other than a sense of connectedness to each other and to nature. Always worth remembering that though. Too easy in urban jungle and virtual world to take leave of this.

KinkyDorito · 22/11/2015 09:09

Incredibly grateful for the rain this morning as hopefully it will shift the huge quantities of ice on the roads here before I have to drive this afternoon.
Time with family.
DParents.
Lovely little DS with his beaming smile. Smile

Movingonmymind · 22/11/2015 19:46

Ddog also able to bring a smile to our faces! He is not the biggest brain out there...

Fresh air

Sludge to lovely soup, a satisfying miracle of cooking, both to make and to eat on a winter's day

KinkyDorito · 24/11/2015 10:39

Movingonmymind · 25/11/2015 12:04

Ddog (again), such a silly, adorable soul, lightens many a dark moment Smile

A little free time today

Online shopping, straight to the door! No driving/parking/queung/impulse-buying, brilliant!

The sweet innocence of primary school days/kids, going to miss it when youngest moves up next year Sad

KinkyDorito · 25/11/2015 16:37

A tidy living room
My DCs playing in room, happy and well
Tea cooking - food in the home
Warmth

Movingonmymind · 27/11/2015 06:45

The purr of dcat as he rubs himself round my ankles-pure, overt selfishness, the bugger, he just wants feeding 😄. Still nice though...

Making Christmas cake and pudding for everyone over Christmas, very satisfying.

Shelter.

Lessstressedhemum · 27/11/2015 08:50

Watching birds at my feeding stations, I could watch them all day
Food, clean water, safety and shelter
My children

KinkyDorito · 28/11/2015 09:00

Lovely family.
Food in the cupboards.
Coffee with coconut oil (I'm on a specific WOE to try and help my fibro; it seems to be and I just discovered this drink that is rather lovely)

Movingonmymind · 29/11/2015 09:14

Low carbing, Kinky? I use coconut oil a lot and heard it's good in coffee. Thanks for the reminder! 😊

Today, lI'm grateful for my in laws, shelter from the horrible weather and food on the table.

Oh and more seriously that I am the other females in my family can afford sufficient sanitary protection each month so we can function normally each month, don't have to miss school/work as millions of women/girls have to do around the world. Shame about the tampon tax though! But that belongs on a different thread...
