Feeling really rubbish today.

Managed to make myself go for a walk and was very grateful for the air, the countryside and DD for walking with me.

Hope everything's okay stressed . Sounds hard going.

This fine, kinky, thank you. Because he is autistic he struggles to control his emotions, couple that with bei g overtired yesterday (he doesn't sleep that well) and it was a rough day yesterday. Better today, though

I'm pleased he's more settled.

I need to star the colouring Kinky. I have the pencils and the book but somehow can't manage to find the time to do it

Hello, I'm completely new to this thread (spotted it in active conversations) but I'm very keen to focus on what I have to be grateful for, so do you mind if I join in? I really find it helps me hugely when I focus on positives and 'spin' things rather than obsess over the shittier bits I can't control!

Today:
A busy, fun day with DS and our friends
DH being home unexpectedly when we got back
The knowledge that he is taking DS out tomorrow and I don't have to do anything but lie in bed and get over this stinking cold!

I've only done a little bit Pacific, but it is helpful.

Hello Stitch . It's all about avoiding the shitter bits . Hope you're feeling better.

• Parents coming home from their long holiday (I'm sure they won't be, but I've missed them.)
• Family
• feeling more organised after a tidy up yesterday (following 3 weeks of chaos thanks to illness)

Gratitudes

• Compassion and thoughtfulness from dc1 (it has got even more apparent as DH is away with work)
• seeing the dcs enjoying the fair
• a nice lunch and discussion with the dcs

• a day off work (that's the positive spin on too sick to get out of bed, bleugh)
• slightly more hopeful convos with DP
• DD1 who is on early half term

Popping back in to be grateful for:

A lovely horse ride last night - there's something magical about riding in a lit school when it's dark outside, then untacking and brushing down your horse in a quiet stable barn with the only sounds the huffing and farting of the other horses.
My DH's increasing competence at Chinese cooking (he's teaching himself out of recipe books, and it's better than take-away!)
My healthy, happy daughters.

Feeling more energised, more optimistic and very thankful today. Grateful for:
Support from friends and strangers; the knowledge that I can stand on my own two feet, and most of all,
