MN Christian Prayer Request Thread: : Back to school soon

It's been a while since I did an update for the prayer thread; I hope that God will remember those I forget:

Thanks be to God for wonderful exam results for MrsCadwallader and for PositiveAttitude dh's new job.
Prayers for Jentlydoesit's DP to find a new job before the money runs out.

Several regulars on the thread find life quite tough at the moment for one reason or another, let's bear each other up in prayer and practical help where possible: CaptainDippy, M44 (whose very much loved mother-in-law died last week), PositiveAttitude, Teaandcakeplease, Madhairday, Blueeyeshadow, Shieldbug (please pray that all fibroids and cysts will disappear before the next consultant's appointment)

Special thoughts go to Swaliswan for the healing of her marriage and for a safe pregnancy and delivery. Also for Hermya321, it's getting close now, only a few more weeks to go.

We pray for the family in MaMoTTaT's church who lost a daughter at a relatively young age. MaMoTTaT will be better known as FAQ or ToccataandFudge,( how I loved that name)

Last but not least we pray for Amberlight in her worry about ds who is struggling with eye problems for which he needs an operation and who is also having tests for hormonal problems. Please pray for as good an outcome as possible, so that he can carry on with his A-levels and rugby. And for peace of mind for Amber, who really could do with the pressure off for a bit.

So let's give thanks to God for His presence among us and get praying....

Feel like my feet are just touching solid ground again! First 'normal' week we have had in ages!!
Things generally very good here-some doors closing-others opening. Please pray for peace of mind that we are making the right decision about dh's job.

As for me, I'm feeling quite peaceful about LO's impending arrival and quite looking forward to meeting him (and hopefully being able to figure out what his name is). I've had some cramping over the last few days and some pains, so I'm hoping that this is the start of something. Please pray that it is. Thank you!!

Praying Hermya, mainly that you will feel that the Lord is with you throughout it all.

Please pray for a friend's daughter and grandson. GS is severely disabled (he is 2) and in hospital atm, and his mum (friend's daughter) has been rushed into hospital herself and has a blood clot on her brain. :(

Asking for more prayers this morning - dh has gone off to Uganda for the next 18 days, he is co-leading a conference for church leaders out there, which will be great, but I'm a little anxious about having an exacerbation of my condition and not coping....so prayers would be appreciated. I have plenty of support around here which is great.

I'm here and lurking and reading. Feeling very low and can't shake it off, been feeling very negative. Thinking about seeing GP for possible depression as I've been feeling like this for months really. Friends seem to think I should just snap out of it The other thing is I feel constantly tired and exhausted and irritable Not a good combo as a single mum with 2 young DCs

On the upside Noah is now 5lbs 8oz & his feeding tube has gone!!! He might might come home in the next few days - Noah & Donna are staying in a parents room at the hospital to see how they get on this weekend. So prayers he can finally come home would be fab!

I seem to do my praying for people on this thread at bedtime when lying in bed. Praying for you lovely PA especially x

thank you TaCP. Only a few more days to wait, and it MUST be good news that the consultant hasn't phoned. DH has agreed to take time off work and come with me so that I dont wimp out of telling him how painful it is and that I need something done asap, even if it is only benign.

I've just (as I do sometimes do) found a random Christian playlist on youtube to have on in the back ground as I do the church newsletter.

This was the first song, and I thought the words were just wonderful,and a reminder that no matter where we are, what we've been through, what we've done we can cry out to Jesus.

Ok, I'm asking for some major prayer. I dunno if things are starting but I've been getting some major back ache that been coming and going and a tight bump. But who knows, I'm gonna go bounce on my ball. I'll let you know how I get on.

Hermy praying for a smooth and safe delivery :)

Tonight I've read Genesis 49:25 (Bible Reading Notes)- it talks about Gods blessings, and this verse in particular the blessings of the womb. Its comforted me just a little tonight, I feel spoken to and I hope God is telling me there will be more blessings of the womb to come as well as my beautiful Belle in heaven.

"By the God of your father who will help you, and the Almighty who will bless you, with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb."

Please continue to pray for DH. Thursday we were having a chat and he admitted he is jealous that I have the comfort and hope that Belle is in heaven. I pray so hard that God is speaking to him and challenging his hard atheist attitudes.
