It's been a while since I did an update for the prayer thread; I hope that God will remember those I forget:

Thanks be to God for wonderful exam results for MrsCadwallader and for PositiveAttitude dh's new job.
Prayers for Jentlydoesit's DP to find a new job before the money runs out.

Several regulars on the thread find life quite tough at the moment for one reason or another, let's bear each other up in prayer and practical help where possible: CaptainDippy, M44 (whose very much loved mother-in-law died last week), PositiveAttitude, Teaandcakeplease, Madhairday, Blueeyeshadow, Shieldbug (please pray that all fibroids and cysts will disappear before the next consultant's appointment)

Special thoughts go to Swaliswan for the healing of her marriage and for a safe pregnancy and delivery. Also for Hermya321, it's getting close now, only a few more weeks to go.

We pray for the family in MaMoTTaT's church who lost a daughter at a relatively young age. MaMoTTaT will be better known as FAQ or ToccataandFudge,( how I loved that name)

Last but not least we pray for Amberlight in her worry about ds who is struggling with eye problems for which he needs an operation and who is also having tests for hormonal problems. Please pray for as good an outcome as possible, so that he can carry on with his A-levels and rugby. And for peace of mind for Amber, who really could do with the pressure off for a bit.

So let's give thanks to God for His presence among us and get praying....

another catch up from me day 21 following surgery today GP has cleared me to drive which is fab seems they said 6 wks no driving. Feeling fab didn't think i would feel this good this quickly so thanking God.

DD1 had anotehr anaphylaxis reaction yesterday as she hadn't told her new bf that she is allergic to nuts and he had been eating nuts all morning and then kissed her opps! Praying that we manage to find a solution to all her joint problems atm as its all getting her down.

Been awake since 5.30 and not a clue why but not impressed with my self so back to bed I think at some point today - the joys of being on the sick day time sleeps

Not doing a very good job of life at the moment, now we've found out that ds has a cracked rib from rugby. Have reached 'stop the world, I want to get off', I think, just through cumulative exhaustion.
Prayers would be appreciated. Keeping them going for everyone else too.

Just lost a humungous post, so please forgive shortness:

Please pray again for my neck tumour. Told last week that it was looking like a benign one from the MRI, saw the consultant yesterday who is not happy! Apparently it is not acting like a benign tumour and it "feels wrong" .
So I had a very painful biopsy taken yesterday and am waiting another 2 weeks for pathology reports to come back.
I am praying that if there is just one cancer cell in this tumour, that it will be detected and I can get this sorted. If its benign, then praying that it will behave like it should do and not grow any more and the pain will go away!!

Just done the third session of my discovering Christianity group - went well I think. Getting 5 regulars so I am pleased. God's good...:)

Just quickly catching up before we go home tomorrow. So sad that the tumour is not behaving itself PA, praying as always that it will be disappeared by God as a sign of encouragement to us all.
Amber praying for you and ds as well and for all others in need of the nearness of the Holy Spirit.
We had a really nice holiday this time and for once I'm not dying to get home.

PA I'm praying that God will heal you and that he will give you strength and peace during this time.

BES Praying for your LO's, I hope DS2 feels better soon.

As for me, I'm still pregnant and still praying the little man makes a complication free healthy arrival next week. I'm scared as anything at the thought of being someones Mum, but I know that God will give me and DH the grace to do it through his strength. My ribs are still giving me trouble and I'm not sleeping that well (hence the wish for LO to come next week). So come on, we've been praying for next Tuesday to be labour day whose with me?

Oh and a bit of encouraging news, we've been praying for our finances and budgeting and we're slowly getting on top of it bit by bit. Praise God!!

DS2 is a lot less coldy, but has a horrible hacking cough, especially at night. It sounds awful. :(

Hi, I wrote a post out last evening, but it hasnt appeared here. Sorry about that, nit sure what happened there .

Thank you all for your prayers. I am certainly feeling far more relaxed about things. I had a lovely long talk with a friend yesterday, who happens to be a retired surgeon and she was guiding me about what I need to ask of the consultant and how things may go from here.

DH is now home from his new job training, so we can get back to a bit of normality.

In urgent need of prayer for sleep and sanity in this household, if anyone happens to be around at the moment. DS2 worse again, waking a lot and won't settle for DH - making everyone tired and frustrated.

Sorry I wasn't around at that time. Hope you got a bit of rest anyway.

Thank you DO - he eventually settled down around midnight and then slept through till the morning.

To me that is an answer to a prayer before it was even prayed. That's God for you:- He knows your needs before you ask Him

Totally TOTALLY random prayer request.

I have had a blinding flash of light (well not quite - but when the thought came to me it sent goose pimples all over ) and an idea that could potentailly totally change the direction I move in in the future career wise.

It's only an idea right now, I need to do some proper research into demand (I may be messaging a few of you that I have on facebook to see if you can ask at your churches/other churches you know), and would have to start very small as I have absolutely no capital to put into it.

But would love some prayers please to help me work out whether this is the route I'm supposed to be taking or just a pipe dream.

I've had a gut feeling recently that God wants me to do something more than what I'm doing, but wasn't really sure what......this could be it.

A bad night here. Pain is definitely increasing and I am really wanting answers on what is happening. Size of lump is worryingly increasing, too. Please pray that I get results back today and dont have to wait any longer. I ma fed up!!

Oh PA prayers for you at this worrying time, especially for healing, peace and sleep.

MaMoTTaT as you start to explore this idea, you will find that doors either open or close and I pray that it will be obvious what you should be doing. It's fantastic that you are seeking God's will in all of this and He will honour that.

Amber your poor ds with his rib. Praying for you and your family.

I've developed a nasty pregnancy rash over most of my arms, legs and abdomen. it is driving me crazy and making sleep difficult. It will go eventually after giving birth, so Hermya I'm hoping for action on the baby front this week too! Praying for some of your discomfort to ease before you give birth. I know what you mean about being scared about being a Mum. I just hope I don't make too many hideous mistakes.

If anybody reads this today, please pray for dh who is really worried about a situation at work at the moment. He has been trying to hand it over to God all weekend but has really struggled to let go. We prayed again this morning before he went to work, but it's the first time I've seen him so reluctant to go. Pray for wisdom so that he know how best to tackle the problem and for grace in the way that he deals with people. Cheers; as ever, your prayers are much appreciated.
