Plenty of info online. You have about 8 and half hours left to register if yours is an XL-Bully.

Surely if she's not an xl bully you don't have to do anything?

You have to hope she passes the measurements if anyone draws attention to her.

I’d suggest muzzle training her as it’s handy anyway.
Keep her out of trouble.

Do not let her stray and only let her off if you are sure she’s bomb proof. If she annoys anyone you could get hassle.

Well you've missed the deadline so bit late now, but if she isn't a bully then I wouldn't worry.

Presumably as you should have looked into this earlier than today.

Your vet will be able to give more info on your dog specifically. I noticed mine had information sheets available at Reception the other week.
Agree that muzzle training is a useful thing to do, for all dogs, not just Bully types. You never know when you might need it and it’s much better for a dog to see it as no more hassle or worry than a collar and lead. My dog will do “Head In!” with no problem.

Yeah I have no idea right now she’s really young but as she’s growing she just looks more like a red nose pit with a slim build

Also make sure your dog is spayed and microchipped, though that is just good dog ownership so I expect you have already done that.

Okay thank you because I did ask one vet when she was a puppy but they’ve said to me they couldn’t tell me they didn’t know properly but I could maybe try another vet & yeah of course I’ve started the muzzle training with her already, difficult with mine but getting there , thank you

I’ve got what’s clearly an old English bulldog (he’s got the bulldog face), but he fits almost all of the other xl characteristics. I refused to get an exemption purely because that’s saying that I’m breaking the law if I don’t have him leashed and muzzled. He’s well trained and behaved, I’m relying on common sense if anything were to happen and I can point out you can tell from his face he’s not an xl. It’s a risk for a lot of people with similar looking breeds

She's a 'lab mix' surely...

Is she IS a pitbull she's illegal anyway and has been since about 1991, and will (or should) be seized.

Where did you get her?

I hear what you are saying but you don’t know what I have been going through lately so please don’t judge

Seriously? These dogs are being put under restrictions for a good reason. Yet here we are with the usual rubbish being trotted out. It doesn’t matter what it’s crossed with! If the dog meets the criteria it needs muzzled, spayed and exempted.

Does she like squeezy cheese? That’s really good on the outside end of a muzzle to encourage them to put their head in if they do. Or those treat pastes you can get for dogs. You aim for seconds with their head in the muzzle at first, giving an Enough/Stop command before they draw back from it if possible.
I’m not saying “oh, your dog is a Bully type, you MUST get a muzzle on her!” by the way. Ours is a Lab, never shown an inclination to bite or anything but we had a training course led by a Behavioural Vet Nurse where she learned that stethoscopes, needles, microchip readers and muzzles meant Fun Fun Fun! alongside the usual body handling stuff.

Yeah that’s why I am very worried I’ve never actually once wanted a pitbull if I’m gonna be honest but she’s definitely looking more like one now I reckon and I’ve had a load of people ask me before if she is a pitbull as others could see 🤷‍♀️ and I bought her off a lady who doesn’t live far from me

And yes, she doesn’t look like an XL she does however look very much like a red nose pitbull.

She may not be an XL bully but she's definitely a bully breed that you never wanted, you can't afford to register, you've bought from presumably a backyard breeder as you have no papers, she has horribly long nails and you're bringing up around children. I'm questioning quite a lot of the thinking that you've got going on tbh.

“Too young to be spayed”. Hmmm.
