Petition to Stonewall

New petition launched calling on Stonewall to:

• Acknowledge that there are a range of valid viewpoints around sex, gender and transgender politics

• Acknowledge specifically the conflict that exists between transgenderism and sex-based women’s rights

• Commit to fostering an atmosphere of respectful debate, rather than demonising as transphobic those who wish to discuss or dissent from Stonewall’s current policies

Stonewall living up to its name on R4.

I always thought it was named after the Stonewall Inn (via the riot) but seems to be more or less going by the dictionary definition now

'delay or obstruct (a request, process, or person) by refusing to answer questions or by being evasive.'

Maybe more like downright misleading on R4 just now - no, the law doesn't say 'transwomen are women'. If Hunts comprehension in this area is so poor, she really shouldn't be leading an organisation representing GBT people.
