New petition launched calling on Stonewall to:

• Acknowledge that there are a range of valid viewpoints around sex, gender and transgender politics

• Acknowledge specifically the conflict that exists between transgenderism and sex-based women’s rights

• Commit to fostering an atmosphere of respectful debate, rather than demonising as transphobic those who wish to discuss or dissent from Stonewall’s current policies

It is definitely genuine I was talking in the pub to Johnny Best after the meeting in Manchester last week and he told me that this would be happening this week.

I've just signed it and feel sick with rage. It took me YEARS - and I mean DECADES - to throw off a massive shitfest of guilt and shame (religious and otherwise) about loving women and actually allow myself to be with a woman.

It's horrendous that we are having to actually defend same-sex attraction all over again.

This craziness is shitting all over trans people, too.
