As I have already said, I don't think anyone is disputing that SA is a dangerous place. What I am disputing is that whites are in imminent danger of Genocide, and that white farmers are being killed in the numbers suggested in the petition. I am also questioning why the petition was started by a Brazilian and what his motives were.

I guess that a poor black South African would be treated the same as a poor white one in modern times - in that they are economic migrants.

South Africa is probably now regarded as a safe country and all hopeful asylum seekers would be summarily or eventually rejected whatever their colour.

Economic migrants are a different matter and will be judged on their EU eligibility or usefulness to our economy.

It's a nonsense to say we should have a points system such as Australia. Britain may not have one but we have visas and we can eject people who contravene them if we want.

Their claim might be legitimate. Plenty of white people can make such claims. They are more usually political dissidents, often very rich ones from former Soviet states or much poorer members of a European community such as Roma. I see no reason to exclude white South Africans from their number.

Why wouldn't I think all asylum applications should be treated equally? I think they should. I don't think that white south Africans should be given a pass to Europe above other fleeing peoples though.

Yes I did realise that March. I said they should get in the queue with other people making claims for asylum regardless of creed or colour.
