Is it okay for me to start a second thread of the highly entertaining viscous attack? Couldn’t see a sequel and don’t want to step foot on anyone’s toes

Indeed. But the second rule (where i worked, anyway) was the 'second pair of eyes' one. That is, someone else checks it!

I was out last night and a lady and gent were in a fairly intense discussion about how to spell the word bother , as in " I wouldn't bother watching that film, it's rubbish .
The guy was convinced it was spelt bover, the lady thought it was bothver.
I didnt know who to correct so I said nuffik 😆

I'm usually quite tolerant of spellos ... but really?! How can you have ever read anything without seeing how to spell 'exactly'? This version hasn't even got the right number of syllables. Or syllabubs, sillyballs or sybils ...
