Catpiece · 15/08/2025 11:23

Is it okay for me to start a second thread of the highly entertaining viscous attack? Couldn’t see a sequel and don’t want to step foot on anyone’s toes
edited to add: I’m Cattery but with a name change x

Saw this and it amused me:
'i love the outside but the inside is lined with some sort of shiny fabric that Russell's about 'Smile

Borgonzola · 24/12/2025 21:51

Is there a separate thread for malaphors? I’ve just seen ‘the world’s your lobster’ on another thread Grin

PendantScorner · 25/12/2025 08:31

@Borgonzola , that is an old joke from a tv sit-com.

No

He’s a gormless looking young man, who needs to get a proper career and earn some respect instead of dabbling with cookery, photography etc. and making a laugh stock of himself. He looks rid with his hat on back to front. It’s nit easy when your parents are famous and the spotlight is on you all the time, brt he needs to get out of the media circuit and do something be proud of. He’s had access to the best of education, and he needs to train for a worthwhile career in the things he likes doing, instead of expecting Daddy to shore him up.

Sounds like he very much IS ruling the day from what I’ve just read. Silly boy

Or even RUE the day…

Just seen isn't correct either.

Isn’t it? It’s wrong to say “ I seen” but ”just seen” is short for “ I have just seen” imo.

PendantScorner · 26/12/2025 11:41

He’s a gormless looking young man, ... I agree. (I don't think his father looks intellectual but he is easy on the eye.)

Sorry for the mistakes, due to post Christmas fudge brain!
I meant ridiculous and not easy, obviously.

Theoscargoesto · 27/12/2025 15:31

Just seen on local FB group. Can someone please recommend a cordless vacuum as theirs. though expensive, cuts out after 10 minutes and
in a fit of peak
the poster has thrown it away. From the top of a mountain, one assumes.

TheaBrandt1 · 27/12/2025 21:57
