Is it okay for me to start a second thread of the highly entertaining viscous attack? Couldn’t see a sequel and don’t want to step foot on anyone’s toes

I think, given the locality it gave, and the username, it's someone who is of non-British heritage (might be British born and bred, might be an immigrant), it should read something like
'Hello Nextdoor members,
I need to hire a licenced security person for work in Slough on Saturday Nov 29 and Sunday Nov 30. Please DM for more information. Thanks.'

On a thread about passports, a poster had to get "stack Decks" and a "stack deck".

From the context I'm guessing "statutory declaration/s".

Yes, it was statutory declarations.

I am loving that thread and how the OP is sticking to her guns that passports are too expensive.

That particular poster is just typing what she thinks she’s heard. Stat Dec. Stack deck. Obviously never heard of a statutory declaration. Mind boggling.

She did say it was a typo, but made the same typo several times.

There’s no rime or reason.

There's a poster feeling "dispare".

I hadn't though of that as a noun, I thought it was a verb meaning to stick the skin back on a carrot or potato.

Someone on the wrapping thread on Mumsnet said they had bought a whole new role for one present- I didn’t like to ask which role it was playing!
