I say cutla but I wouldn’t write it

I’ve honestly never heard anyone say “cutla”, is it a southern regional thing? “Coupla” with the “p” sounded is pretty common even up here in the savage northern wilderness, but “cutla” just sounds wrong to me.

It’s just lazy pronunciation. Same as “saaank” for “something”

I honestly looked twice as I could not believe it.
Obviously too many letters in the word “sleigh”.

That's a pun on "slay"/"sleigh" though surely? "Slaying" being slang for doing something well.

Not quite the same thing but it's reminded me of the "you're been sleighed/slayed/slade" line in "Merry Xmas Everyone". Can't stand the song but it's a neat pun!
