Is it okay for me to start a second thread of the highly entertaining viscous attack? Couldn’t see a sequel and don’t want to step foot on anyone’s toes

That's the trouble. On MN now, every single spelling of lose seems to be loose, and etc is always written ect.

Not always but far too often.

Perhaps when one of us writes it?

Loose/lose is a problem as is ect. I think with ect the writer has no idea it’s an abbreviation of etcetera and is just copying the three letters they’ve seen elsewhere

@Cathandkin , we wouldn't write ect because we know it is an abbreviation of et cetera, and we know that lose and loose have different meanings.

I know auto-generated captions don't really count, but the film I'm watching has hilarious inanities in practically every line. This one tickled me so much, I kept rewinding the scene: Team Bravo Six is trying to get an update from team Delta Two. The radio operator frantically repeats:
Dump the tune! Dump the Tune! Bravo Six, over.

I think "the Muslims trying to impose Shakirah law" is one of my all time favourite typos!
