I'm so sick of seeing this, there's not a cool mum click, it's a clique, and they're not clicky (well if their joints are anything like mine they might be) they're cliquey! and breathe

Or wonder and wander, I always have to stop myself writing "what were you wondering about?" when people write that they were wondering round town!

If 95% of English speakers use click not clique, is it still wrong? I would give up the fight on this one.

That's not evolution though. That's just a mistake sticking. Yes, it's wrong, it's a word of French origin. Click means just that, in English.

It is click not clique these days as more people get it wrong than right. It is a word that has evolved.

They are two separate words. Evolution doesn't mean what you think it means.

NO! It is NOT click. Just because many people get it wrong doesn't instantly mean the word has now changed.

If 95% of the population think humans can change sex does that mean that humans can change sex now?

Help needed! Why is the Labour Party Conference called "conference" and not "the conference" when politicians are talking about it? As in, "Keir said at conference..." I'm wondering why the definite article is not used? Does anyone know?

When you are there Conference is an entity that is bigger than just the conference.

Beginning a sentence 'Conference' means you are addressing all who are there.

When talking to other Labour Party members if you say Conference they know exactly which conference you are talking about.
