mom... I couldn't believe dropdeadfred has two older girls either!!!- She doesn't look old enough to have such grown up girls does she? - Take a second look and look closely - they look just like her!

TSM - Well we are actually waiting (any day now) for delivery of our photos - they won't be online! We have bought 8 or 9 photos I think. Maybe I can scan them in and then make a profile page??? If I am brave enough - tee hee!!!

Nicola...is you are interested in dresses from Alfred Angelo...(mine was from there) then check out American sites...I ordered mine from Justprettybridals.com and saved a fortune..and they were able to have it made 3 inches shorter for me ( so no costly hemming needed) for just an extra $50...

Thanks for the compliments guys...I so wish i could do it all over again...

TSM - the fireworks were absolutely amazing...we had hoped for a short display of5-6 mins...it actually went on for over 12 mins and they were amazing, better than some displays I have been to. (I can let you have the guys details if you are interested ).

They are 16 and 14...I have just turned 38...not really so young anymore

They really did look stunning on the day I must admit.

i know, it just crept up all of a sudden!!!

we went to portugal and avoided any strap marks (unfortunately i was so preoccupied avoiding them i forgot to worry about the bits i got burnt... my arse is sore!!!!!)

i had a full body massage while away and had my roots coloured yesterday.. i am such a blonde bimbo! i plan on getting a manicure and pedicure monday

but i'm ready, just have to sort some cd's to play at the reception!

Ouch to sore arse. Aloe Vera gel is great for sunburn (kept in the fridge)

Well ladies - I've got a really horrible feeling about my dress and am not sure if I'm just being paranoid. The lady in the shop I ordered it from is really lovely but a bit dippy. She took all my details and said she would fax the order over (back in July - it takes 20 weeks) but she seemed really distracted. I didn't think much of it (she's ordered thousands of dresses, right ?) and dress was due in end of September. Anyway, she's just phoned me because they are "updating their records" and she hadn't got a note of my wedding date. I told her 29th November and she said "this year ?". She then went to ask what dress I had ordered and the size etc. because my info sheet had printed off blank on the computer (??!). I said it should be in shortly shouldn't it and she sort of vaguely said, yes, should be within the next few weeks or so. Now, I've got 9 weeks to go and will need alterations. I'm such a wuss and should have just said something but I've just got this horribly sick feeling in my stomach that she forgot to order it and is now having to try and rush it through, or worse, is going to phone me at some point and tell me its not going to be here.

Anyway - sorry its long. Suppose I'll just have to wait and hope my female intuition is completely buggered .

Call her TSM and get her to call the supplier (whilst you are on phone)and confirm the delivery date!!

Yes its a maggie. I could just be totally paranoid and they really were checking their records. I will pop in I think and see if I can get a delivery date. Fred - how long did yours take from the US ? (just in case )

I think there are bridal stores here that can ship out within days if your dress style and size are in stock
Zinnia bridal is one

My dress too about 10-12 weeks but I could have paid for express service which i think was 7 weeks. Maggie sottero will not allow dresses to be sent from USA to Uk anymore though...

Ring her back now!!

TSM ring her! I have a shop near me that sells Maggie Sottero dresses. They are fabulous (I was supposed to go but ended up with my debenhams one) if needs be i will give you the number and see if they have it in....

in fact i will google the number anyway (just in case)

i helped my friend move today and broke a nail! so i'm all booked in on tuesday morning for them to put some tips on to make them all the same length!

just gotta sort the music still - i hope i'm not still saying that monday, but a busy weekend is planned!!!!

and i still have to pay the reg.. 3rd visit in today and still no-one could see me... it's as if they don't want my money!!!

i went to the restaurant today and been through all the details... oooh it's gonna be lovely!!

i'm now nervous/excited!!!!!

Tilly, i am so worried for you and your dress. Is it you that is having the Channing in red?

I got my wedding shoes today - hooray! traipsed around town with my mum and sis and finally found them, veil is ordered and should be here in a few days, my boys waistcoats and cravats are ordered and according to the website should be here in 1-2 weeks. Got a headband today too (trying to link but site taking FOREVER) instead of a tiara so am looking forward to trying it all on and seeing what its like

2 more sleeps! (going to bed in a mo to get 1 of them out of the way!!)

just been to mum's and had a final try on, i need a new bra, the one i have is too big (damn the stress making me lose weight!)

i have a stinky cold at the moment so am over dosing on multi vit's and cold and flu tablets!!

and tomorrow i have a job interview - i think i must be mad, not what you need the day before your wedding!

i then have to dash around and buy a couple of last minute bits aswell as flowers for the tables

then i get to sit back relax and enjoy, friends are coming tomorrow so we're having a girly night in and the boys are having a lads night at the best mans house!

if i've forgotten anything, it's too late now!!

'see' you all when i am a mrs!!!!

Hi Mom - yes - mine is (hopefully !) the Channing in red. I'm going in on Wednesday to see her and try and find out what's happening (if anything). I've convinced myself I'm just being paranoid over the weekend - but did have a dream last night that I had to walk down the aisle in my undies (and my red jimmy choos of course) because my dress hadn't arrived God help everyone if that's the care

So Saralou is a married woman - hoorah

And today, I can officially say that I get married next month - arrrrgggghhhh !

Ordered cake yesterday - having a layer of chocolate, a layer of fruit and layer of lemon drizzle. Will look like the one on 3rd page, 3rd row down in the middle but with red instead of black

Off to the jewellery quarter tomorrow to find wedding rings

And am going to the dress shop today to see if I can get to the bottom of the dress saga

In between childcare, work etc., obviously It seems to have come round really quickly now and despite thinking I was very organised, there still seems to be a lot to do.

How's everyone else ? Very quiet on here lately

I feel like i have lots to do but its little things(and paying lol!) have had a fabbo cake idea. We wanted little cupcakes but the only way we can afford it is to make them and i don't want to nor will i have the time with 3 children and all their needs as well! so we are having a selection of mini cakes (think Mr Kipling) and a massive French Fancy on top to cut
