Hello jrsqueak - congrats on you forthcoming wedding. We love al the details here. Tell us about your plans. Any pics of the dress etc. are all welcome. Its been a bit quieter on here lately but I for one, am always in a weddingy mood

T42 - I forgot about your sis - is she managing to reign in her inner bridezilla ? Is your dd's outfit all sorted ? And yours ?

All is well here - married life is good and I think we've decided to try and leave our "only child" status behind so watch this space

TSM - Well r.e my sister - there was a wobble a while back but she is quite cool now. She has all sorts of details planned I would never have thought of!

I have three weeks to buy shoes to match Milk's bridesmaid dress and find one of the shoes to go with the dress I will be wearing as I rather stupidly let Milk play with them and I have no idea where she has put one of them!!! [panic emotion]

I promise I will report back all information weddingy after the event!

Am getting married on 4th April. Got my dress, theme is burgundy/ivory. Getting married in church then having a buffet in the town hall catered for by local pub. local pub also doing us a bar. Can't believe I have only just found this thread - have so needed to vent at someone when people were interfering in what i wanted and still are. AArrgghh. Have had loads of issues from my dad wanting an evening buffet even though we are only getting married at 3 to my sil refusing to get bridesmaids dresses we wanted!!!
What else - having artificial flowers - they are gorgeous, mil is making the cake and oh having ds3 christened at the wedding - whole thing done for under £1600 I think
Anything else you would like to know??

booked a toastmaster now am really pleased as don't want to rely on our best man too heavily. also got company coming round who make wedding rings to order tomorrow night so looking forward to that as i didn't have an engagement ring looking for something a bit special

no you don't need one, we have quite a big venue and lots of guests, but no staff from the venue so need all the help we can get!!

please help....need website for wedding invitations. can't find any i like searched all the usuals. am tearing my hear out! only 3m to go and no invites.
budge £200ish for 40 day and 40 evening.
