I just posted on food section a couple of weeks ago because I had a recipe for a pie (with minced lamb and filo pastry), which required vegetable puree Like tomato or garlic puree but vegetable...

Can I find it anywhere though ?? No - and neither can EachPeachPearMum who has kindly visited every supermarket in a 50 mile radius..

Soooo - I have a load of frozen filo pastry and minced lamb and no veg puree to complete the recipe

Its a bloody weight watchers recipe as well so it'd probably taste shite if I ever did find the stuff

Yes Tilly, what's wrong with it?

my mum had some woman she wanted to do my make up so had a test with her. She heard we were having pink for the wedding and promptly made up my eyes so pink I looked I had pinkeye. I didn't like it at all and she got fired! [also, her telling me that I'm "stupid" for not liking it didn't help her chances! ]

So I have every sympathy.

Do you have a picture of the kind of make up you'd like?

Hello smurfgirl - saw your wedding pics - you looked like you had a fantastic day. how was Meeru ? I am so - we went there a couple of years ago and it was pure bliss....

OK - hair and make up. Make up not too bad. She did smoky eyes - which was what I asked for - but she put silvery/grey eyeshadow under my eyes, which just made my dark circles look even worse than normal. Eyeliner was also too heavy. Anyway - I told her and she's made a not to lighten up on eyeliner on the day and not put eyeshadow under the eye (why would anyone do that ??!!)

I took photos of the hair and I just don't like either of them . I can't even put my finger on why - they just looked a bit too "done" iyswim. Anyway, I have brushed out the curls a bit and had a mess around with my hair clip and think I know what I want now. Have just txt my hairdresser and asked her to come back round next Friday (she was due to do a blow dry anyway for my hen night) and have another little play around

I am an awkward sod aren't I ??!

Weird about eye makeup? I think you were right to say something.

I loved my hair at my first trial, but lots of people on my wedding forum had a few trials to find the right style for them so its worth having a few I think.

Meeru was amazing, very pretty and we just chilled, we had a jacuzzi water villa which was ace. Am v.untanned though! Only got back on Saturday as well.

Gosh - brings back memories. We were in a JWV as well (2nd or 3rd one on the left iirc no: 26 maybe ??). Photos are great.

Aaaaarrrrggghhh. Sorry, subject change. My mum is sending invites locally, we're sending international ones - for convenience as you can imagine. She seems to think the full guest list is not relevant for her (with highlighted reference to which are local and which international) as she's just sending to her list?!?! ie her cronies.

I honestly don't think she realises there are 160 people being invited, not just the 30 people she's mates with.

MOM - I already posted on your other thread. Glad you turned up here.

Deep breath. Your foot will be absolutely fine. I promise. If you'd broken it, you'd know - because you'd be half dead with the pain (or are you but you're being all strong).

Put lots and lots of ice on it. rest it up. Avoid those trashy high heels and it will be fine.

it is in a lot of pain going to see how i go over night and go to A&E in morning as DP around to watch DS1 and 2 (will have to take ds3 with me as he is bf and will keep me company for 25 hours while i am seen)

I've just been doodling cake designs I'm thinking pale blue icing with choc brown ribbon and written icing (same words as on invites) then on top sparkly things like this and this but cheaper?

Also does anyone know where I can get bridesmaids dress's that are blue with choc brown ribbon/ sash?

I had a mild panic this morning it seems for every thing on my list is 20 steps to geting that oe thing done and I want everything sorted in plenty of time (like by the end of june for sept wedding) because I'm likely to be really busy working during the summer hols which will be great for business and moeny but not so good time wise.

Did any of you take time off in the run up to your wedding or are you planning on taking time off? I think with us having 2 weeks honeymoon another week or few days off before the wedding will be pushing it!

LMG you could look for blue dresses and then look for brown ribbon if that will make your shopping easier? When do you get married again?

I realised today that i have been far too laid back and need to get off my arse and organise!! Had our planning meeting on halloween at ceremony venue, turns out i don't actually have an aisle at all but i go thru a door and turn a corner and i am there. i do, however, have a reserved parking space and a room with all\ original features in(hundreds of years old) to wait in. I won't be sitting though because my dress will crease!

26 days Tilly am soooo excited now i have seen the room properly! Got a trillion little things to do still, when is your hen do?

updated the foot thread, its not broken but badly bruised -phew!
