Thanks LG&T - I was beginning to think it was going to be just undies and choos after all . At least I could have saved on the bar bill - all the guests would have ran away in horror !

DB - ooh yes - you must get virtually drunk and virtually dance like a loon to Wham and Abba. I'd steer clear of the best man if I were you - he's a cycling freak . He'll have you on the back of a tandem before you can say Tour De France

Dragonbutter · 23/10/2008 11:33

aah now you're reminding me of my wedding. we had a tandem on standby for some photos but it was raining so we didn't do it.

Tillyscoutsmum · 23/10/2008 11:36

Bless ! DP hasn't suggested inclusion of any of his (now 4) bikes in the wedding, strangely enough. His "stag" weekend though is a two day cycle in mid Wales with a night in a B&B in between. He's a wild thang

VASTlargeginandbloodymary · 23/10/2008 12:17

The Choos would have stolen the show

Dunno what you are worrying about dd will steal the show anyway What is she wearing?

Tillyscoutsmum · 23/10/2008 12:59

She will indeed (her and dsd). They're wearing www.flowergirldressesline.com/sk2946.htmlthese with little faux fur jackets. They look unimaginably cute. Just trying to find shoes now. Next have sold out of the ones I was planning to get. Nothing is ever farkin simple !

MerlinsBeard · 23/10/2008 13:05

DB if you can wear the green one AS WELL as the pink one, you can be my virual bridesmaid too (at the same time!)

Actually Tilly, what time is your ceremony?

MerlinsBeard · 23/10/2008 13:05

erm...virtual!

Tillyscoutsmum · 23/10/2008 13:10

sorry dd's dresses again

MoM - 3pm. What about you ? Not sure a viral bridesmaid is a good plan

MerlinsBeard · 23/10/2008 13:15

ah you will be a Mrs first ours is 4pm

that's enough time to change to the pink monstrosity dress isn't it dragonbutter?!

Tillyscoutsmum · 23/10/2008 13:53

Ah - I'll be well on the way to being pissed tipsy by the time you say I do

Ok ladies - shoes for bridesmaids (children's size 6 and 9). I wanted to get the ivory ones but they're out of stock. "Proper" bridesmaid shoes seem to be £30 a pair and I don't want to pay that much. Any ideas ? Ivory is fine. Silver/Grey would also be good. Sparkly would be ideal (dsd is in full on princess mode )

MerlinsBeard · 23/10/2008 13:58

tilly that dress is GORGEOUS!!

SHoes...i have boys so may choose something daft lol!

these?
these?

Tillyscoutsmum · 23/10/2008 14:10

yes - I looked at both of those. I think the first ones are a little bit too casual for the dress iyswim. I like the second ones though.... I've bid on a couple of ivory ones on ebay and if I don't get those, I think I'll go for the second ones. Quite like these as well. or do they look cheap ?

Do you think I might over think things a bit ?!

VASTlargeginandbloodymary · 23/10/2008 14:33

Monsoon always do lovely girlie sparkly shoes. DD has had many a pair

Lovely dress, they will look like little princesses, awwwwwwwww.

VASTlargeginandbloodymary · 23/10/2008 14:35

these?

£20 but she could wear them to all parties etc... very sweet.

Tillyscoutsmum · 23/10/2008 14:40

They're pretty - they haven't got the sizes though (and dd needs a strap otherwise they'll be off within seconds ). We got some from Monsoon last year for a wedding we went to but they seem to be unusually lacking in sparkles this year

thanks Jammi for giving me that to look forward to.

The invites people are being weird and vague and I'm mildly concerned that they're not in fact printing my invites...

MerlinsBeard · 24/10/2008 14:25

Happy Mrs Day Stetch
