I am popping back in here, have been wedding QUEEN recently v.organised

Trying to make photograph list for photographer v.hard.

we have a small venue which is nice cause its cosey and we have exclusive use

there'll be 7 babies and 6 children between 2 and 8 so it'll be chaotic but hopefully fun

Having a play room type thing in the room that will be cleared and used for dancing in the evening, stuff that we hope big kids will enjoy too - like Giant foam Xs and Os and Connect 4 etc and pottery painting

mmmm what else - It'll be a catholic church wedding, we're not both catholic, just me, so am expecting lots of tutting and huffing from HTB's nan LOL

Hi smurfgirl! I have been thinking photos too but we are at the other end of the process. We went to our photographer's v trendy apartment last week and ate loads of biscuits and drank loads of tea, listened to music and with nice smelling candles took over two hours to choose our prints!!! It was so so so fab!!!!

salbysea... we are crazy about links on this thread. Would you be kind enough to send a few links to things like your dress, bridesmaids dresses, shoes, venue or anythingelse that will get us screaming with joy like a bunch of old aunts!!!????!!!!

Did you find that your posed photos took ages? Thats my worry really.

easier said than done, my dress is from essence of Oz but cant link directly to do and BM dresses from Karen Millen are no longer on the website and none on ebay either

so I'm afraid you'll have to make do with my wedding car:

Mmmm.... our wedding was v casual - few friends at Marylebone Town Hall. The photos were taken at Covent Garden. We took it in turns to go off with the photographer and drink and snack at a bar next to some street performers while we got our photos taken in verious groups. So I can't really help you out as it was actually a portrait session rather than a real wedding photo session..... uuuurrrrmmm.... I know.... let's phone a friend....

I went into a Karen Millen for the first time recently - wow - what beautiful clothes - your bridesmaids must be worshipping the ground you walk on because you got them dresses from there!!!

What about you send us the link to the website your dress is on and instructions for how to get to it.... that is what loads of other brides to be did?!?

Looks like a red carpet dress - very sophisticated and glamorous.

Will you wear the straps or wear it strapless? Also bow, sash or plain?

bow, no straps, will have the removable jacket for reception but at church will just wear dress and veil

Both together dont go - looks a bit much

My seamstress told me that everyone who bought that dress got pregnant and it is bump friendly - she could av warned me

Is this your first baby? If it is I wouldn't worry about the dress being bump freindly or not - I think most women are not bumpy at 12 weeks especially with baby1!

Hello all ....welcome SalbySea and double congratulations Your dress is gorgeous - very glam and sophisticated. I was mahooosive at 12 weeks with dd (first baby) but think i was the exception to the rule. You should be ok

Hi smurfgirl - what have you been up to then ? The photo list is a pita and I worry about them taking ages (especially with people dithering outside at the end of November !). I've asked ours to go round during the drinks reception and just take photos of couples/family groups whilst they're having drinks (as well as some more formal group shots with us in etc.). At least that way, I know I'll have at least one pic of everyone there

Hopefully you will be like me salbysea - I didn't announce my pregnancy at work until I was 6 months pregnant!

My friend had a big bump at 10 wks - at the scan they discovered there were 2 babies in there !!!!

TSM - look at dropdeadfred's pics - you will love them!!!!!!!!!!!

TSM - we have to wait 3 weeks for the prints of our photos to arrive... I can't wait!!!!
