New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Just got one from Babybots too.

LittlePants · 26/11/2009 08:19

In a quandry! Did anyone here make an offer on my longies on CNT? I have 2 very similar offers, but both require the embroidery changing, and neither has offered enough to cover the cost of the embroidery they want. So don't know who to sell them to! If anyone here has made an offer, tell me what embroidery you wanted, so I can identify you! MN members have priority! (Just hope you're not both here!!)

treedelivery · 26/11/2009 11:17

Wasn't me LP, and if it was I'd be expecting to be told to get lost! If they want the embroidery schanging then surely they should have to pay? I hope you got a good price!

Money to be made in wool I think. If you can get the yarn at a decent price. People love their longies, and if you can embroider and personalise I think people will be very excited! [People being me]

When I am rich I shall buy a pair a week, and a nappy a month, and all the monkey foot bags. Yay!!!

LittlePants · 26/11/2009 13:33

Just finished these!!

Cute

Nothing to report here!

mumface · 26/11/2009 18:34

Lewis was totally not interested in toilet training today, just weed in his pants all day and didn't want to know. Then whilst I was sorting pooedy pants out he climbed up on the chair infront of the computer, slipped and smashed his mouth on the keyboard, plenty of blood in his mouth and broke the y key off. Luckily I fixed it.

I need my bag of donuts. soon.

mumface · 26/11/2009 20:15

That's great news Octo

I'm still trying to get over nearly loosing my 'y'. I would have to start calling them diapers or something

mumface · 26/11/2009 20:17

Oh yes and all my lost e-mails were waiting for me this morning.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 26/11/2009 20:41

evening everyone! I've put Clement in pocket nappies yesterday and today and he seems to be surviving them. Only ones with suedecloth, mind! He did get a bit red yesterday evening and some dot like red marks on his thighs, but I was thinking it was from wearing the PocketBots, since he was OK all day in Bumgenius & Wonderoos. But then lo and behold, he seemed to get a bit similar this evening, wearing the same BG he was fine in yesterday & today! But he totally recovered overnight wearing a sposie so that it wasn't a problem putting him in pockets again today. I bought a GK Anytime the other day which came in the post today, and he didn't react to it, so that's another suedecloth pocket we can do! Sooo, if nothing else, I think we can do it with cloth 90% of the time, which is progress, right??! And maybe we'll get the 100% eventually!

So, I'm building up a stash of GK Anytimes, with a few Minkytimes thrown in for stroking added fluffyness (assuming he isn't allergic to minky nappies!). I bought a GK Anytime, Funtime & Minkytime this morning off Cloth Tots, and hope to buy another 2 from another seller there. And then I'm buying a further 6 Anytimes from someone on another board. So that will be around 13 GKs to go along with the existing Bumgenius and a couple of Wonderoos. I really do hate the baggy fit of Wonderoos, but since they're older style with suedecloth, they'll fill in the gap for now. I much prefer the snug (yet comfy) fit of GKs, even better than BGs.

So, lots of fluffy post coming my way soon! Exciting! But I did sell off our stash of Bamboozles to fund these! So all is good - I hope!

If only the 12 pocket nappies from China would arrive for Benjamin!

myjob: oooh, did you manage to get a HL nappy then? We've got a Dreamscape which is lovely - rainbow, sun etc. Well, I assume it's dreamscape - it's a night nappy but is decorated! LOL

And meant to say, I always thought I was a fitted nappy person - but I've really got taken with the quick drying of pockets! I've got lots of cut up bamboo squares and microfibre inserts of various sorts. And now that we're in a house with central heating (storage heaters) I have a large free-standing drying rack that I have up in front of a heater and I just shove the nappies on in the evening and by morning they're near enough dry. Soooo, for the first time ever, we can use cloth nappies without using the tumble dryer at all! I always did the fitteds at least partially in tumble dryer to keep them soft, but pockets don't require that!

Evening All! My number one key is very very temperamental, and it's a right pain.

I have some very exciting fluffy post today - it's too exciting to talk about til I've taken some photos, but it is fluffy and I've got 250 of them!!! But most exciting is that they've been made for me in Nepal - I even had a phonecall from Nepal last week!!

And I've got another new product that hasn't been done before in the nappy world. I have scoured the internet, but there is nothng like it. Again as soon as I've got photos Mumsnetters will be amongst the first to know. (But not from the UK - 100% UK made!)

treedelivery · 26/11/2009 22:24

Hello everyone

Had a dramatic morning, dd2 tripped over on the walk to school banging her head on the pavement, she started pouring blood everywhere so i had to carry her on my shoulders to school whilst pushing the double pushchair We washed her up a bit at school, dropped dd1 in and then i got a lift home and rushed her next door to the surgery where they thoroughly cleaned her and bandaged her up! Funnily enough she wanted to go back to school for her hot dinner as she is performing in the school play this afternoon, it is a novelty for her as she usually only does half days!

On a more positive note i recieved a lovely pink berry plush with princess embroidered on the bum, and i have my ss pressies all xmas wrapped and jiffied ready to post
