New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

yummy Octo they look fab!

Rachel, i agree too. If i've learnt any thing with this parent hood lark its you can never be to careful when it comes to unwell children, as we know they flip so quickly. Im glad you managed to get some meds and he's looking better.

newsflash secret santa arrived this morning! i must resist and lock away with the bedbugs!!

Went to a HV year check yesturday with DS ended up educating talking to them about real nappies. I was shocked that they really didnt have a clue and asked if they wash well! Grrrrr

Anyway off to double lock the Bedbugs and SS present!

Octothebaglady · 24/11/2009 12:24

Yes - they are for you The stripey ones are for Daisy. More stock coming just thought you may like a sneak preview!

Octothebaglady · 24/11/2009 12:25

afternoon everyone! Benjamin is a lot better - in fact, both boys slept very well last night (with little coughing), which was great, meaning I wasn't having to sit up with Clement every hour, like I did the past several nights! Benjamin did wake up with a fair bout of coughing when he got up this morning, but I think it's safe to say the worst is over and he's recovering! I've got a nasty sinus headache today, but as long as children are fairly happy, then I am too!

As for Clement's rash, it's calmed down again - but he's still in sposies, as I haven't braved cloth with him yet! My sister sent me over some nappy cream from USA which I've put on him for the past few days, and I'm wondering if it might be making that wavy red area less visible, but I don't know yet if it will ever totally vanish! It's this stuff here, which seems quite good, even if it is at a price www.californiababy.com/calming-diaper-rash-cream-2-9-oz.html So hopefully once the illness settles down here, then I'll try some cloth nappies on him again.

JABULA · 24/11/2009 15:57

Hi all,

Sounds like an ordeal Rachel, glad your little one is ok.

Bots, hope you are enjoying the bedbugs, there is nothing like a lovely squishy pile of bedbugs to snuggle up into. Are you keeping one?

Had fluffy post here today - Dunk n Fluff - and keeping one of them too.

Oh poo, dog is being sick again.... BBL

Octothebaglady · 24/11/2009 16:50

Yuk at your sicky dog day Jabula - sounds horrible - sick children are bad enough but animals - yak!

I will email folk re soakers/longies when they arrive for payment - so no rush unless you really need to part with your money!

Great news today - am now European distributor for the bags/aprons - woohoo!

Am off out tonight to a Glam Originals Party so will catch up tomorrow.

mumface · 24/11/2009 16:54

That's great, OctotheEurobaglady now!

treedelivery · 24/11/2009 21:23

Hello folks.

Bit wiped out today, possibly for rest of week. Am in the busy bit of the donation now, so am a lony tune due to hormones, and doing a lot of travel too. It will work and they will be sooooo happy with their squasher. Am being sternly positive Except for my periods of worry

No nappy news exept have forgoton the woolies and left them soaking since Friday. Terrible. I daresn't look!! DH sadi he will sort them and report back.

He is a star.

Bedbugs look fabby do LesBabyBots. Still wondering how many you have....

Where is Jenny?

treedelivery · 24/11/2009 21:27

Rachel - am really glad bubba is better. The steroid might have done the trick, in which case it was needed and a good thing. Hard work for you though, A&E runs. you must be tired, you have all this, plus the worry of the rashes. Full on mummy stuff. Take care. Stroke fluff. x

We are in dispos!!! Am doing a good bit of commuting [2.5 hours each way] adn the bag was rather full so have given myself a week off. Also in view of the washer getting stuck mid cycle and me being out for 3 whole days, 8 till 8, I just can't do it this week!

Harriet is sleeping badly, only in someones arms. Clearly she misses her nighttime softee with fleece wrap Went to put a fleeceo n tonight [as a one off this week] and it smelt soooooo bad. Stripping time me thinks. Maybe next week.

Maybe I should just get a new one few

I knitted and lanolised some longies for a friend as a surprise present, and was gutted when she told me her LO had just potty trained!!!! I was so pleased with them. Anyway, to cut a long story short, have put them on CNT, but haven't a clue what they are worth. Can anyone give me some sort of guide? What do you think I should ask. Have just put ofers ATM, ro see what happens!

Octothebaglady · 24/11/2009 22:43

Good luck tree - hope it goes well x

treedelivery · 24/11/2009 23:02

OOOOOOO LP

Have bumped you

I reckon a good £18 plus fee's. Embroidery etc always good so you want ££ for that. Maybe I'll get them as a well done me for...er...y'know, ironing or something.. I love love love the colours, really suit my red head dd2.........

Well done you! They are lovely.

Octothebaglady · 24/11/2009 23:05

You def deserve a well done pressie! Maybe for you though and not a nappy lol

treedelivery · 24/11/2009 23:10

What could you mean Octo?? You mean like a nappy bag then??

Actually - lady products!! That would be a good pressi for me, topical and in keeping with eggy thing, and fluffy too. Nice!

LackaDAISYcal · 25/11/2009 00:01

just a quickie...

tree, I've been reading your eggy thread but not posting; but blardy well done you; I would love to do something so selfless but fear I am loopy enough without the added hormones.

Yikes rach at the ambulance, but tis always better safe than sorry. I hope they are all on the mend now. Glad the boys are better. And don't worry about C's bum; it will fade eventually. DD had huge weals on her thighs from her eczema which looked like scar tissue, but it isn't visible now at all.

Yeeeeeee Octo; flongies look fab!!! bumble will definately cut a dash in those (tres Austin Powers ) and I can see them being used as day pants as too good to be hidden under a sleeping bag!!!!

Longies look fab LittlePants , and are just the right size for bumble Can I ask what pattern you used?

bumble took his first unaided steps today ; I turned round and he was teetering towards me . Spent the next ten minutes trying to get him to walk and managed to catch 8 secs on film for Daddy to see!!!

Facebook, I have some friend suggestions.....who is AW? profile is wedding photo? and who is PG? profile photo with baba in sling? I am ver ver confuzzled.

Gah, too late; that was meant to be quick.

photos of my wooly soakers on my profile...I hope!!

sorry to be posting and running but am soooooo busy have no time to MN luxuriously these days!
