New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

You need some of those angel feet things to pad the sole of your feet.

Do thosee pads work?

Can we preorder the flongies yet or wait till they come in?

Octothebaglady · 22/11/2009 21:15

4 - will email you

I have only ever worn the things once - wore killer boots which couldn't walk in so not sure they were actually worth putting in! Tottered from taxi to restaurant and back into taxi (drunk) - may have the other pair - will have a look and post them to you.

4andnotout · 22/11/2009 21:21

Oooh would be good

LittlePants · 23/11/2009 07:43

Just sticking my head in again to let you know I'm still alive and we weren't not flooded! Just have had no broadband, but I think that was fairly general county wide! Fortunately we didn't get flooded, but I was very worried, as the last time we had torrential rain like that the water came right up to the door, although it didn't get through! This time we seemed to escape without any threat, so were lucky! Ulverston copped it in places, but the crossed fingers, toes, eyes and everything else seems to have worked for us! Anyway, broadband is now back, so catching up. Will try to read thread later!

4andnotout · 23/11/2009 13:17

Helloooooo!
My ss purchase is here too, just need to add another little extra in on thursday and xmas wrap it all up

Octothebaglady · 23/11/2009 13:27

Glad you are okay littlepants - did post before to see if anyone had heard from you.

My SS is on its way to the recipient

Thought had lost a bag shipment (((DONT PANIC!!!!!))) but have confirmation one package is in flight and the other going through customs ...

Not sure if you knew this but have been having some heart flutterings over the past few weeks. Had an ecg and bloods last week - all came back fine - have a chest x ray booked for weds and they will then follow it up with a 24 ecg trace. Bit stressful as you can imagine but am okay. Need to cut out cheese, choccies, tea and coffee as caffeine can cause palpitations. More that they happen several times and hour and that my mum has a heart cond that they are being cautious.

virtual choccie required!

LittlePants · 23/11/2009 13:39

I have an irregular heart beat which started just like that. Apparently it's perfectly normal - well common - well nothing to worry about! I was eventually put on beta blockers for the rest of my life, but stopped taking them, as they made me so dozy! Now I just totally avoid caffeine instead. Even drink de-caffeinated tea! That seems to keep it pretty much under control.
So don't worry too much! Try carob instead - that's a virtual choccy!

mumface · 23/11/2009 14:02

You will have to have a glass of wine instead then Octo! (if that is allowed) Glad all seems well, must have been a worry.

Hoping today is Bedbug arrival day Babybots (bet you're sick of people asking!)

How are we going to resist opening our Secret Santa's til xmas day?

MrBabyBots · 23/11/2009 14:28

Mumface - Today is indeed the day!!!

Parcelforce have been a bunch of eejits and are too busy stroking them to bring them to the fluffy vault so I am donning my Navy Seal outfit and stealthily attacking the PF Depot to extract them (prob to much modern warfare playing going on here)

Octothebaglady · 23/11/2009 14:52

lol @ mrbots as a navy seal!

Mission Accomplished Not many casualties

Babybots · 23/11/2009 21:49

They are here [runs off to stroke]

mumface · 23/11/2009 22:10

Did you nab one to try on DS tonight?! (minus tedious prewashes)

MrBabyBots · 23/11/2009 22:38

Mumface - She has, but it wont be put on him until tomorrow as he was already, ready for bed when I returned from rescuing them from ParcelForce

thebluefoxategreensocks · 24/11/2009 00:17

I'm tired out and should be in bed! We're still not 100% - still coughing & congested head/chest with me & little boys! And, yesterday Benjamin's breathing (because of the croup) was bad enough for me to phone NHS24 (as couldn't make direct contact w/ any of the GPs here, it being Sunday). The lady wasn't very nice really - almost demanded that I let her send an ambulance - felt as if she was shouting at me, that my son was only a toddler and if he had any problems with breathing, then he needed to be seen right away! I knew Benjamin was "ok" in that he was playing with toys, but he had to take breaths between words in a sentence and was wheezy and I thought he should see a doctor about it. So had to have the ambulance come and they thought we should go to the local county hospital to be checked out, though they agreed that he was OK enough in that he was alert and playing. So Benjamin and Clement and I had to take a ride with them in said ambulance! Benjamin got a dose of oral steriods then and another pill to take the next day (today) and thankfully seems a lot better today. But all the ordeal just to get some medicine for him!

Octothebaglady · 24/11/2009 09:44

Mine would love to go in an ambulance! I think they did the right thing to be honest Rachel - I know we know our own children but they are on the other end of the phone trying to figure out if he is okay and best imo to be cautious - if they were flippant you would have been savage!

Glad the bedbugs arrrived without any casualties and assuming they are under guard.

Flongies images have arrived .... they look gorgeous - will put them on photostream for drooling session.
