New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Cheers. x

I can't find it. I think it might have disappeared. Don't suppose you fancy reproducing it?

4andnotout · 20/11/2009 09:04

Morning all

Knackered here today, dd4 was up for most of the night burning up and doing the quick breathing thing too, calpol and lukewarm flannels finally brought her temperature down and she feel asleep at 4ish only to be woken by dd3 at 5.30 DD1 has the same symptoms so is off school.

On a positive side all the kids were bathed and dressed and fed by 6.15 and i have scrubbed my kitchen inch by inch.

Swampster / any Bedbug users, do you have Toddler size and are they huge compared to m/l size? I have just read a quote from Bonnie who makes them who says the toddler size would fit a 6/7 year old!
M/l are supposed to fit from 15lb but Connor is about that and he is on the middle settings already.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 20/11/2009 13:37

mumface: We've got a toddler sized Bedbug and it is noticably bigger than the ML but I wouldn't say hugely bigger. I've not tried it on Clement (7m) as it would be rather high in the rise on him. But it fits Benjamin nicely, who is 2.5yo and about 33lbs. Benjamin can still easily wear the m/l (on next to largest settings) and of course is on a smaller setting still with the toddler sized one.

Hope that helps!

mumface · 20/11/2009 13:51

Thanks Rachel, thats confirmed to get toddler then, if they're not hugely bigger. I have 3 m/l so my aim is to get 3 toddler so each boy has 3, with a few WNNN large which fit both nicely.
(Have just seen someone on CNA has 10 bedbugs & 5 dreamscapes amongst other night nappies!)

NappyShedSal · 20/11/2009 16:40

treedelivery - did you know that you were quoted in the Daily Mail today??!! I was sitting in the dentists waiting room and there was a whole page on teh David Cameron MN live chat and various MNetters were quoted. I saw your name and thought "I know that person" even though I don't really!!!

swampster · 20/11/2009 19:54

Hello Bedbuggers! I have four M/L Bedbugs for DS3, not had a Toddler one... YET. DS3 is only almost 10 months old and is a wee skinnyman. He has been (comfortably) on the second popper setting for ages though - I could probably do it up on the tightest but I figure breathing isn't that over-rated.

I REALLY love them - but I do want to try a WNNN. [sits firmly on hands]

swampster · 20/11/2009 20:18

FGS, Babybots! Get those Bedbugs up on site! That 'Coming soon' message is doing my head in!

treedelivery · 20/11/2009 20:46

Please stop talking about bedbugs. I haven't got one and am not likely to get one due to funds anytime soon. Woe woe woe N WNNN either. WTF???

Can't believe I made DM again I must stop being such a gob almighty!! [hmmm]

Secret santa item arrived today, needs wrapping and posting out Wont post for a while though so I don't give myself away.

4andnotout · 20/11/2009 20:51

I havent got a bedbug either I think they are too much money for dp to agree on!

treedelivery · 20/11/2009 20:53

OOOo and guess what happened today? Went for a day out int he nearest city, and dd2 totally exploded her nappy. Thankfully hadn't left home. SHe was wearing her divine green wool longies and puddlekins nappy with blueberry wrap. The poo actually splattered the walls when I peeled it off. Then she exploded in 2 magic-alls and probably stained them. Our 1st ever nappy stains. Had also splatted her shorties in the morning

Some dairy has crept in her diet for sure. SHe is normaly constipated!!!

DH is lanolising the woolies for me. DD2 is a bit rough and will only settle on my chest, so I am bed bound with her - shame - so he has strict instructions. We are away all weekend so I can't let them sit, they need soaking tonight!! Wish my longies and shorties luck!!!

4andnotout · 20/11/2009 20:56

that sounds like a mighty poo explosion, dd4's poo leaked onto her tights earlier which i thought was bad enough and made me want to vom!

My outlaws looked after the girls for me today while i went to the fostering meeting and it was lovely eating a lunch without little hands pulling me or having to eat mine cold after feeding everyone else!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 20/11/2009 21:32

swampster: didn't know you actually had 4 Bedbugs! I have 7 of them sitting very lonely, not being worn by either of my boys! :'( As well as my velour lined UDNN, which has only been worn once or twice by Clement! But I feel very sad about the idea of selling any of the Bedbugs, as I think it would be hard to build up a stash of them in future if I needed them. But 7 stacked up is a lot of Paypal money! But still - how will I ever part with them? Guess we could use them for pillows!

swampster · 20/11/2009 21:39

I had a couple of moments of madness very close together - ordered one, then another from Bums n Roses. Then, even before they had arrived (so before I'd actually seen a real live Bedbug in the flesh), Bonnie at Holden's Landing sent out a lovely discount code - I think it was 20% off - and she had some custom slots that were already on sale... so I only paid about £18 each posted for the two I had made up and sent from the States.

mumface · 20/11/2009 21:45

ooh need to get on their mailing list. This Bedbug wait is killing me!
Rachel, I reckon you would get your hands bitten off for those 7 if you listed them!

MrBabyBots · 20/11/2009 21:59

Swampster - Page updated!!!! hopefully they will be with us tomorrow or Monday, damn postman is keeping them in his depot so that he can stroke them!!

treedelivery · 20/11/2009 22:04

Who can blame that postman?

DO bedbugs have a stay dry layer next to the skin. I ask because I have never ever so much as been in the same room woth one so have no idea.

Are they much squashier than puddlekins?

Oooooooh I want I want I want.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 20/11/2009 22:10

tree: no stay dry liner on the ones I have, just bamboo velour in & out. But they do make fleece lined ones, and one of the BBs I have is just some sort of non-fluffy inner but the 2 boosters are fleece lined. Have to say I always turned them over since Benjamin's middle of the night wee couldn't get through fleece quick enough! But the other 6 I have are totally bamboo velour, as well as bamboo velour topped boosters. But they do make a variety of different ones, so fleece inners are possible, I just never had any.

Only downside to them really is drying time - the inner core really does take a long time to totally dry!

swampster · 20/11/2009 22:13

You are just TEASING me, Babybots - it still says 'Coming soon' AND I couldn't wait and just bought my first WNNN.

treedelivery · 20/11/2009 22:15

Does the velour feel damp next to skin. It's my one bug bear [geddit??? about 2part nappies. The whole nappy is wet, so I imagine a rally uncomfortable waist and whole-bum experience. If you see what I mean.

Btw, did everyone see my dd2 on the Cheeksandcherries fb page?? We had some professional pics taken as Christening pressi froma photgrapher and friend and I told cheeks and cherries, as they stock the mini lala, and voila!! DDs is a [sort of, in my very silly mummy eyes] baby nappy model
