New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Hello folks.

No nappy news but my washing machine is bust. EEK!! It is getting stuck on wash cycles, pah!

Off to catch up on thread and look for secret santa ideas

mumface · 18/11/2009 18:53

I'm easy boys, large or xl anything
Connor is 5 months now and needs 6-9 month sleepsuits too. He watches everything I eat drooling and chewing his fist but I am holding on for a bit as he's not waking in the night or anything. Have bought some Plum Baby four grain porridge to start him on (sounds yum, quinoa, wholegrain rice, millet & amaranth)

Helooooo Natty!!

treedelivery · 18/11/2009 19:32

Secret santa done - ooooo I hope its ok. Be such a bummer if it was wrong size/shape/person had 12 and was kinda over it........

Bet we all lay claim to the purchases in Jan. No way we'll be able to keep secret!!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 18/11/2009 19:38

Mumface - Not waking in the night I am VERY . Mine both wake in the night and ELouise will be 2 next month!

Natty - Oh that explains it. Talia isn't tall at all = just Fat! lol.

Are any of you nappy sellers going to the buissness start up thing in London next week? I really want to go, got my free tickets but not sure about leaving both DDs all day with my Dad - will be the first time he has ever had Talia and it will be a long day for them. And I am having the Coil fitted that day at 6pm so its going to be tight for time. BUT the seminars etc look really helpful and looks like the day will really benefit Nappyweb.

When are we sending the secret santa stuff? And when do we tell each other who we had?

Don't know if to use stock or buy something specially. Don't mind buying something, but I would be able to give more if it was stock as it would be based or trade prices I guess? But don't want to make it tooo obvious its me! Lol.

mumface · 18/11/2009 20:05

Lol Jenny, He does have a dream feed at 10pm dare I say on here I have roughly followed GF routine with all 3 of mine and they slept through from 10pm-7am from about 3 months.

Yes we will have to spill the beans re Secret Santa in January. We can even swap stuff if necessary!

Some very nice nightime gear there Myjob!

treedelivery · 18/11/2009 20:08

OOO myjob Nice!!

mumface · 18/11/2009 20:10

Surely we have to wait til xmas day to open them, so as long as it is there in time?
Even if you use stock Jenny, somebody might have bought it from you to send someone else.

Just done all my parcelling up ready for the post office tommorow morning

I think everyone knows the sort of things i like, Tilly-Grace is 14 months and about 17lbs, she is in larges or ML, we ony use pockets or AI2's, love pretty and funky things

Moocow has been washed and im starting to like it a bit even if it is grey, only the blue polka to get now although that one seems to be the rarest one for some reason.

Myjob those nappies are lovely I really fancy some obv but would have to cover them up!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 18/11/2009 20:44

Oh yer and I meant to say for me...

I am easy too. I am into quick drying nappies at the moment and getting on with microfibre nappies really well. Don't really use Pul wraps anymore. Love love love longies at the moment and use them every day. I am just as happy with preloved anything - nappies or whatever. Use pockets too sometimes, mainly YoYoo ones though.

treedelivery · 18/11/2009 21:07

I'll have anything at all too. Very easy to please

Bit short of wool/fleece.

I guess nappy showing off items are ok? As in not actual fluff but to complement....oh I can't give too much away...eek!! Anyway, I think you will like it. Whoever you are.......

TheNattyTheHippy · 18/11/2009 21:17

oh yes i meant to say no wool or fleece as i dont get on with them!

i have 5 NL in my basket.. i want to order them! dh says no

(so ive listed stuff on ebay. anyone need a cot? i have three lol)

4andnotout · 18/11/2009 21:20

I think nappy showing off bits are allowed, i have browsed the WHAMs on CNT and i think most of what they offer comes under nappy related

LackaDAISYcal · 18/11/2009 21:27

Evening all

good to see you again Natty and of your new fluff myjob; the UD's look lush.

Re secret santa; I'm easy to buy for as well; loving fleece soakers and if I can get this blasted wool one finished (I'm using the longest DPNs ever to do the cuffs with hysterical results and much cursing and swearing as well as growls from the cat who keeps getting poked in the eye ) I'm hoping to love wool as well! Also not bothered whether it's a nappy or a wrap or an accessory.

Octo, are you going to be on the receiving end as well, or did you sit out as you're organising it?

now, to get my thinking cap on and scour t'internet

treedelivery · 18/11/2009 21:53

Rofl at tales from the knitting circle. Poor cat

Babybots · 18/11/2009 22:21

Evening chatterboxes!
Just popping in quick.
MyJob nice new fluff very cute, Im in need of some night nappies! Fed up of chasing Ds around with a nippa!i feel a bedbug or 2 coming on!

As for us secret santa wise... Any thing really.

Ds would be large now about hmmmm 25 plus pounds-ish. I use pockets or AIO's daytime and a fitted nappy and fleece at night.

  • Not into wool though but also am another lover of the fleece!

4 im glad the Moo Moo is growing on you! and your way too organised!

welcome back Natty!

Must go to bed!!!

Octothebaglady · 18/11/2009 23:29

We could do with 3 more secret folk!

treedelivery · 19/11/2009 10:02

D&V [dd2] and wahsable nappies and dodgy washer

mumface · 19/11/2009 10:25

Oh dear Tree, seems to be a lot of bugs going round at the minute Hope you get your washer sorted.
4 Posted scoops today.
Babybots Are they here yet!? Don't let the puppy see them! Can't decide whether to get m/l or toddler now. The m/l are smaller than WNNN large and they fit Connor fine so might go a size up so they fit both boys.
