New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

I have 5 organic totsbots cotton which rub terribly they are like sandpaper and I am in a soft water area aswell. I'll use some flexi tots tomorrow. It's nice to get them out again as they've all been ignored when Itti's were discovered. But thank goodness for Airflows when baby has the runs

4andnotout · 13/11/2009 22:19

I would love another baby but it's up to nature to decide really, i was told i was infertile after having dd2 but seem to have proven them wrong on that score, dp is getting older though

I would love another in a couple of years but don't have a DH anymore, which is the main problem

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 13/11/2009 22:31

Myjob - 6am is a lie in for us at the moment! . Talia wakes up everytime her dummy falls out and she keeps dropping it down the side of her cot which is very hard to get to in the middle of the night without waking Elouise up.

My LP Micros smell . They were brand new a few weeks ago. Although they are heavily worked, as soon at they are dry they are used again. But have been using 2 tablets (Pack says 3 for hard water. Used to use one but it wasn't enough). And then doing at least one extra rinse, usually more and often I end up putting it through a quick wash to get all the powder out. . Its not a wee smell when they get wet - they smell even on the line? Its not too obvious at the moment and I am still using them, but still there.

I am off to bed now anyway. Well, after hanging the nappies up anyway!

mumface · 13/11/2009 22:37

I started getting smelly nappies a while ago, after stripping them I now use 1-2 milk scoop of bold 2-in-1 (depending on how rank nappies are) and 1 scoop of PHP nappy sanitiser and it hasn't happened again.

Octothebaglady · 13/11/2009 22:43

Lollipop are doing 20 pocket tots for £120 BARGAIN!! And I think you get som efreebies if you order over £50 - saw it on Go Real Discounts page.

Babybots · 13/11/2009 23:55

Jenny, Thats a load of detergent they sound like they need a good strip! Tablets are a No No really, its way to concentrated for nappies.

As i advised a while ago I'd do a cold rinse then a 40/60 with 1-2 formula milk scoops of detergent and follow with a rinse or 2.

Ooooh Octo thats a great deal!

Right had way too much wine and need to go to bed!

mumface · 14/11/2009 08:00

Yes Babybots I got the idea of using little milkscoopfuls from you and I do a rinse cycle first to clear the debris!
My fingers are crossed today for Upsy Daisy Soy NN and my WNNN custom skulls/red inner which was posted yesterday.

4andnotout · 14/11/2009 08:02

Done through FB as e-mail sent said failed, think I forgot a space but stupid memory keeps remembering incorrect one and won't let me change it.

mumface · 14/11/2009 08:51

Oooh it's not every morning you wake up to chocolates on your doorstep

NappyShedSal · 14/11/2009 09:16

Mumface - I'm jealous. I woke up to cat poo on the bathroom floor and cat sick on the downstairs carpet - NICE!!!

NappyShedSal · 14/11/2009 09:18

I need to decide whether to go along to the Designer Baby Show tomorrow or whether to stay at home and take advantage of ebays free listing day and list a load of stuff on ebay - thought I'd join the Mumsnet challenge of making £300 before christmas, although I'm a little late in joining.

mumface · 14/11/2009 09:27

Urgh I am cruel I put my cats out at night for that reason. My ex Dh passes by us in night after shift at work and left a tin of Roses for us on doorstep.

NappyShedSal · 14/11/2009 09:36

One of our cats absolutely hates going out. Last night my DH and I searched the whole house for her and couldn't find her anywhere. In the end we gave up, secretly hoping that she'd actually gone out earlier (pigs might fly). She has got so good at hiding from us - we have no idea where she goes. AGGGGH! Anyone want a cat???

mumface · 14/11/2009 10:14

I love cats, I worked in a cattery for 5 years. Mine do that too and one goes for me when I try to put her out aswell.
