ah well....maybe not then!

DD is talking to herself in her sleep; tis very cute

LatinDAISYcal · 17/10/2009 20:43

swampster · 17/10/2009 20:47

Hello all.

Had seen those Itti patterns on fb, and I'm not sure you know. I think they will look cuter on their own - all at once they are a bit much for me. Totally not getting the non-furry Itti. Not going there

treedelivery · 17/10/2009 21:00

Actually I take that back - I would go there with the red spot and the pink spot

kmummy · 17/10/2009 21:02

So any gossip?

Had a nightmare with neighbours here...youd think being a military base we wouldnt...apparently not!

Anyhoo, lots of fluffy post

3x fishpoodle wraps (LOVE THEM!)

help....DD is complaining about it stinging when she wees and is up now and saying it still stings. She has been potty training so I'm wondering if her less than ideal wiping has caused a bit of a UTI. Is there anything I can do or give her now until we get to the docs? I've given her some calpol, but don't have any cranberry juice.

treedelivery · 17/10/2009 21:12

Calpol good, and just as much fluid as she will take for you.

I don't know if she could have the stuff to neutralise the acid, but you could ring NHS direct for some guidance on that. 0845 46 47 If she can there will be a late night pharmacy somewhere.

Poor lamb. Hot water bottle helps me.

LatinDAISYcal · 17/10/2009 21:14

thanks tree; I'll give them a call

I'll call Dh and see if he can pick up some cranberry juice on his way home; he has gone fishing, the loon!

treedelivery · 17/10/2009 21:18

It is good, but she would need gallons and it is thought to be a better prevention [I think]. So don't worry too much, just fluids fluids fluids.

treedelivery · 17/10/2009 21:19

How old is she Daisy?

LatinDAISYcal · 17/10/2009 21:37

she's 2.5, and refusing to drink.

Called NHS direct and was told a call back could take up to 24 hours

myjob; do you think it's the start of mastitis? Have you stopped BFing? I'm racking my brain trying to think if it was you that was considering stopping, or at least cutting down?

Feed feed feed would be my main suggestion, with heat applied beforehand, and also heat applied and then combing/massaging from sore bit out towards nipple

didnt realise, ok i will pray it insnt M then and wish the nasty pain away im expecting a bout soon, E is starting to take alot more solids, and refusing bfs as he fed loads before, a bit uncomfy at the minute to put it mildly, fingers crossed they sort themselves out though hehe!

LatinDAISYcal · 17/10/2009 22:20

a spot of hand expressing might be in order then, or do you have a pump? Actually that's a silly question isn't it?

I like the look of the WN nappies, and that's from a WN sceptic

The calpol has helped and DD is charging around now. She has tried to wee but said she can't though

she is too enthralled by the diwali fireworks going off to go back to bed now!

50ftQueenie · 17/10/2009 22:21

Myjob - You're going to have to express my love. It might be painful but it is the best way to clear it before it becomes an infection which needs anti-bs. Yes I like your collection. I just have a rainbow of Ittis (& all the limited editions for girls, & a couple of Cushie Tushies, oh and a Bumgenius organic, oh yeah and a Blueberry which I hate!)

Daisy - Poor dd. Urine infections are not much fun, hope she gets better soon.

kmummy · 17/10/2009 22:27

Queenie you just reminded me i got a blueberry too and a WN pocket, oops and 4 ittis....to much fluffy post to remember!

What dont you like about the BB, it looked quite bulky on but DS popped within 5mins so not sure ow it works for us yet!

Daisy glad shes perked up

kmummy · 17/10/2009 22:28

pooped

50ftQueenie · 17/10/2009 22:34

Kmummy - It is HUGE and even with all that bulk it has leaked really badly every time we have used it. DD can go for ages in an Itti (when she's with DH and he forgets to change her) but the Blueberry, not a chance. They're bloody expensive too!

I am loving the Mini Lalas. Sweet Lord they are pretty! Look away Myjob.....

kmummy · 17/10/2009 22:40

Oh crap why did i click?!?!! Thank god there aplix

I llloooovvvveeeee my ittis, so the bulkiness did put me off...will give it a chance though, if all else fails will look fab for next summer whens hes toddling about!
