Am disappointed with fit of large Fuzzi, it's on smallest setting on waist and largest on legs, so really bunched up at the sides and not a good fit.

Myjob, you can pm Rae through CNT, so you don't need to buy a custom slot. I ordered Kerr 2 Ooga tops last Sunday and she made them on Monday. I paid for them on Monday afternoon and they arrived on Tuesday. I'd really recommend her and I'd buy from her again - she's very helpful too.

Tree, just off to look at Christening pics now.

Shame about the fit of the Fuzzi mumface

Big at the fluffy post, especially ecobub!

Just been to wool shop and choose Yorkshire Wool for dd2's new longies. Yay. Colour choice baffling, resisted brow,beige/cream as she has her stripes, went for 'pomegrantite' which is rusty reds, ruby, and dark pink. Hoping dark pink will come through lots.

Hope MIL is revved up and ready to knit!

Hello ladies/ Sorry to barge in but I wanted to ask a question about cloth nappies and thought this was probably the best place.

My dd has just turned 1 and she has been in Itti Bittis during the day since she was 4 months. She has been in boring disposables at night as she wouldn't sleep in bulky cloth. But now she is bigger, we want to graduate to cloth at night. What would you lovely ladies recommend? I am very lazy (hence the AI2s) so need as little fuss as possible. I am also a big tart so I want something pretty.

Thanks in advance........

mumface · 17/10/2009 16:12

Hi Queenie fleece soakers are popular amongst us lot at the moment for nighttimes, Debbies nappies or Bebesnuggles are very well priced (£5-£6) As for underneath I use Bumbles, flexitots or Bedbugs at the moment.
For an easy to put on option, I use well boosted Ecobubs wool pockets on my 2 year old too.

P.s You will love Bedbugs if you are a nappy tart

i use bumbles too and bbh bamboo am selling some bumbles on sale board. dont like fleece or wool though- so use airflow wraps

50ftQueenie · 17/10/2009 16:59

Thank you. I will investigate.
Mumface - I am indeed a nappy tart. I contemplated going to The Baby Show today just to see whether they had the new Itti Bitti D'Lish Brights available to buy but they didn't so I didn't. I don't think they're actually out in Oz yet. I am seriously considering visiting Oz...... to buy nappies.

mumface · 17/10/2009 17:19

OOh never heard of these brights, can they get much brighter?

Not keen on the brights TBH - I thought there was a law that said Ittis really had to be furry?

50ftQueenie · 17/10/2009 20:19

I know what you mean Swampster. I wasn't sure what to make of smooth Ittis. But some of them are furry....... And they are Ittis.

LatinDAISYcal · 17/10/2009 20:27

Ooooh, just had a thought; I have a good friend in Oz. Maybe I'll ask her to get some nappies and have em shipped over! Would anyone be interested?

I'm desperate to get into wool at night, but so far this knitting in the round malarkey has me stumped (and I consider myself quite a competent knitter). I bought some circular pins but the wiry bit is too long even for the body of the pants.....by the time I spend more money on shorter pins, then a couple of sets of DPNS which I found out I need for the legs (can not figure out magic loop for the life of me) and obviously the cost of the yarn, I could have bought a pair of customs from pixieknits or someone!!

and lol myjob, that is nappy obsession territory. I had a purple flannel, that I use as a reuseable wipe, for the wash today and was going to put it in with the nappies, but was worried about any colour running, so it wenjt in with a fairly light general wash instead....fine to ruin DH's pale blue work shirts, but not my precious nappies

Hi to Queenie. Good results have been had with Lollipop microfleece/wool pants combination.

swampster · 17/10/2009 20:31

The exchange rate is so rubbish at the moment that it would probably be quite a costly exercise, Daisy.
