BTW - the white co. sale might be better on line than in store. But I'm not looking. I mustn't.

swampster · 13/10/2009 20:56

I blow hot and old on Ittis - I love them and I want them but I don't really trust them.

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 21:06

Tree - LMAO I have stopped selling all in ones as they just plain leak - apart from fuzzis but you have to get the stuffing right - and no good overnight really even when super stuffed.

Still gutted about missing trade fair today

But will see the whole lot of them for 3 days so could squeeze it in (((unlikely lol))) Don;t manage a cup of coffee at the baby show let alone a chat with a supplier! Aprt from TotsBots on a friday morning!

newspaperdelivery · 13/10/2009 21:13

See, I have never had a red mark or a leak from a magic-all. They seem so comfortable on dd. But then they are like a huge carpet they have so much excess fabric. Maybe they will be less effective as she grows and power wees.
BBOS I just find stiff and huge on dd, and the one I have wicks like crazy. I also think the lining is a bit depressing.

Ittis I trust as long as the fit is right. I bought large thinking they were so tiny a medium would last 2 weeks. Large just leaks and leaks, medium has lasted 5 hours. Turns out Itti know more about their sizing than I do.....imagine.

Sorry you missed the fair Octo.

LatinDAISYcal · 13/10/2009 21:15

pmsl tree

I like the itti that I have, but I kind of think of them as quite girly; not sure why

Yes, I got a BJCM . Am very excited by it and nearly paid an extra £5 to get next day delivery, but as I had to order a raincover from somewhere else I may not be able to use it until the raincover arrives anyway, so "saved" myself a fiver and in my woman's shopping logic brain that's a fiver towards more fluff

I have got two individual nappy demos and a group one lined up.....woohoo

Jabula · 13/10/2009 21:16

Tee hee Octo! I love Ittis. I didn't at first because A's legs were too skinny. But now I do.

I'm not so keen on Upsy Daisies. I like the look of them but we've had 3 and none of them work for A (as Octo will testify when I turned up at her house with a wet bottomed baby!)

newspaperdelivery · 13/10/2009 21:18

Jabula - Glad I didn't know that on Sunday - dd2 was in her new UD for the Christening. Mind you, I stuffed it with both the BG microfibre inserts and a hemp one for good measure . Your site is like a sweetie shop.

Go Daisy! Good luck.

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 21:20

ds3 has an UD on tonight - the handpainted one/soy with super micro booster and rikki - I just know it will leak but only have one fleece cover and it is wash so may do swap before go to bed!

Teaching tomorrow - so need to make sure get some sleep tonight. DS1 has just appeared requesting food - GO TO BED!

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 21:21

good luck lacksydaisy

mumface · 13/10/2009 21:26

I love Magic-alls too!
Will never buy another WN pocket leaks like hell.
Itti's brilliant on smallest, useless on big 2 year old.

They seem very reasonably priced.

ellieloooooooooooooween · 13/10/2009 22:22

Hi
I love itti's, BG, TB flexitots and really like the softee, I have 2 fuzzis and not so fussed with them as they tend to leak I also really wanted to love the pop n grow I have and have washed it and washed it but it still bloody leaks after about an hour.
Good luck daisy my ante natal group went ok, one mum announced she had bought a load of BM and that kind of settled me abit my nerves were going mental, but the midwife asked for a leaflet so maybe a sale there also they only have me so I have dates up until march. Have been busy tonight doing my website, its really hard and I just think it looks crap just need to keep going I suppose, it will all be worth it.
Rofl at you trying to sneak a BJCM past your DH daisy myjob hope N is ok.

Scotia · 13/10/2009 22:25

Ok, will try to keep up, but am failing miserably at the moment!

I love, love, love my ittis on ds - they are actually our most reliable nappy, although he is only 8 1/2 months now. He has been in larges for a good 3 months already though, but we've only very rarely had a leak.

WNs, I prefer my AI2s to their pockets, but I think that's more to do with my inserts - they only last an hour, 2 at the most, but I wouldn't take him out in one. I wish I'd bought all AI2s, they can last 5 hours easily on ds. I'm going to buy some BB combo inserts for my pockets though and hope that solves the problems a bit.

I've got 2 Upsy Daisy soy night nappies, and they are very absorbent - often dry on the outside in the morning, even though ds still has 2 or 3 feeds in the night. I use Tots fleeces, I have 2 red and 1 rainbow. They are good, but I want to be brave enough to try wool overnight.

I do like your nappy patches Octo - Tree, you lucky thing I have to concede though that fancy patterned nappies are better on girls under dresses for the show-off value.

I've just bought ds 2 lovely Ooga Booga tops from Approved by Kayleigh on CNT, one blue ooga with orange sleeves and one of the new Christmas ooga with Christmas stripy sleeves. I'm really chuffed I only ordered them on Sunday night and she made and posted them yesterday, and they arrived this morning. Here's my thread with picture on CNT.

LittlePants · 13/10/2009 22:39

Myjob Yes they are expensive, but as they're AI2's if you got an extra soaker, you'd have 2 for not that much more than the price of if IYSWIM!

I believe there is a 7-day cooling off period for all internet purchases?? That might be blarney though.

Scotia · 13/10/2009 22:54

Myjob, I really loved my ecobubs for nights, but sold them on a few weeks ago. Could you buy the other one too? Might solve your night nappy problems.
