That would be so lush.

My upsy daisy came though. A sage [in honour of my wedding colours] with a tree, for her Christening. Am such a sap.

See what I did there? Eh? Eh?
I'd really like a cream itti, or something like that. A cream though, to go with Christening gown. DOes anywhere do pearl embellishments? this is gown. It rustles. I love it.

Scotia · 23/09/2009 23:10

Oh Tree, swoon, I love that Christening gown. It's beautiful.

And what a wee romantic thing to do, buying a sentimental wrap for under it. I'm getting all teary here

thebluefoxategreensocks · 23/09/2009 23:14

oh wow, what a gown, tree! Looks as fancy as a wedding dress!

It is way fancier than my wedding dress! I got totally carried away. I have that tendancy....

Not everyones cup of tea though. I do realise I am totally bonkers

ThePinkOne · 23/09/2009 23:21

Any reviews/thoughts on lollipop pockets oh nappy obsessed ones?

Scotia · 23/09/2009 23:22

I've never used them PinkOne, but you might find a review on the Cloth Nappy Tree forum

ThePinkOne · 23/09/2009 23:25

Thanks scotia, I've just had a look but can't find one I think they've had a new one out since so maybe the regular ones are a bit old hat!

newspaperdelivery · 23/09/2009 23:25

Never used myself. Another nappy I need to try!

LatinDAISYcal · 23/09/2009 23:34

Octo is your woman for advice on the Lollipop pocket. I've just bought one second hand, so will be able to tell you in a few days what it's like!

LatinDAISYcal · 23/09/2009 23:37

Loving the wooly site. My ideas for handknitting longies might need a rethink; everytime I try and pick up my knitting I have a baby hanging off the end of the pins so it's strictly an evening activity.

Made my first sale as a fully fledged nappy advisor last night

hello to new faces

christening gown is bloody gorgeous tree . Are you having the bonnet as well?

newspaperdelivery · 23/09/2009 23:39

We have bonnet. Plus shawl. We got it all 4 years ago for dd1. Shawl just back form having dd2 name embroidered on.

Congrats on first sale. What did you sell, and to whom? ANd where?

newspaperdelivery · 23/09/2009 23:39

Octo - new bags are lush. Drool.

LatinDAISYcal · 24/09/2009 00:28

I sold a lollipop micro kit to my doula whose DD is having a baby and who has no external drying facilities or tumble drier. Of course am now worried that she won't get on with them and will hate me forever (by hate I mean not recommend me to friends and family )

LittlePants · 24/09/2009 04:54

Golly, I can't believe the chat that goes on here. Can't sleep so thought I'd wizz over and see if any messages had been added since last night, and there's a whole book of bedtime reading!!

Do you all pay the extra to be allowed to email each other?

Love those nappy Patches Octo. Do you make them yourself!

4andnotout · 24/09/2009 07:04

Morning all

Tree thats's a beautiful christening gown, very but dp's half jewish and my lot are all atheists so no christenings for us

Little Pants we are all on eachothers facebooks and if we want to email eachther we usually just put it on here, most of us have had t pay the CAT fee though as you can't sell without it

Just bought my 1st csp pad, hope i like it, i might order some from wn later depending on dp's mood.

Blasted kids need feeding, must dash

ilovemydogandmrobama · 24/09/2009 09:00

Unbelievable -- Used Ittis were selling for £11.00 on CNT

Finally succumbed to getting a Bed bug. It's a polka dot applique. Cream with little velvet polka dots. Really criminal to put a Motherease Asia print on top of this couture nappy!

Wool would be perfect, but think it's a bit too high maintenance. Am on the lookout for large Sugar Peas....

mumface · 24/09/2009 09:33

Used itti's at £11! Criminal to ask that. Why not just pay an extra 59p & have it new?
Ilove I'm struggling to put my ugly stacinator so simple over bedbug but it works well.
4 I have recently converted to csp.Just tried minki padz they are good.
Now I really don't need any more nappies I'm just window shopping today..

TheNattyTheHippy · 24/09/2009 09:37

feeling left out as I'm only a friend of Natty on FB . My name is J.... J.....son if anyone wants to add me!

My cushie has pretty much dried overnight on the airer natty; although the inserts are taking a mite longer. I think they have bamboo in them though don't they? ime bamboo tends to suck the moisture out of the air as well so if mine are on the radiator airer in the kitchen they take even longer as they soak up the steam from cooking!

I'm trying to formulate my business plan this morning; scary stuff. It's not for the bank manager, but for my DH so I can justify taking money out of the savings account!

not entirely convinced with CSP (without going into TMI my periods are really heavy) but I have a mooncup (but stopped using it as I kept getting thrush)

TheNattyTheHippy · 24/09/2009 12:19

i think its just cos im spoiled with tumbling the lastof the wetness out of nappies, and i cant tumble the CT outer

might sell them on, although a good fit not finding absorbancy up to scratch

blue and white spot, brown and green spot. i do love the look of them, and im am amazed to find an aio nappy that fits my chunky dd, but we are getting leaks which is a bit

just had a toddler sized stacinator so simple wrap turn up. too small. shes only two bless her.

Octothechildherder · 24/09/2009 13:00

pink one - lollipop fleece pockets are really good - they come with wellsoft boosters - but I use fuzzi ones or bamboo as get on better with them.

Littlepants - I don't make the nappypatches myself as am useless at sewing but they are very cute!
