Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned testing on here! How the hell do I choose who can or can't test?

OP posts:
thebluefoxategreensocks · 31/08/2009 20:20

Jenny: You'll just have to pick a random selection of those who are volunteering to test (and have the right age/size baby for your needs), and then put all their names in a hat and then pick how many you're wanting/able to give testers to! Easy! LOL

Scotia · 31/08/2009 20:21

New nappy sounds interesting Jenny

I won't volunteer as a tester as you've been inundated already, but will look forward to hearing feedback. I do like my pockets

myjobismum your kids are gorgeous! I've just added one of my 3 together (Lewis is in a blue camo blueberry)

Scotia · 31/08/2009 22:04

Rusmum, do you still have the patterns I emailed you for the longies? Somehow, I've lost my instructions - would you mind emailing them to me please?

I finished my first longies - except they turned out to be shorties because I ran out of wool I will upload photos to show them off!

hello ladies- i am a fellow mner (and avid cloth user as alibabaa can attest ) BUT i need some help from some other clothies!

I have trialled for myself for 3 months a nappy wash cube that is home-made and natural, it can be used for other laundry as well and can be chopped up to use as a soak if you so wish (nothing that would eat elastic etc) I love it and think it is fab- but of course i would! i need some other people to give it a go and give me some opinions and also fill out some questions about pricing etc. would anyone be interested?

I am only seeing if it is a viable option atm- i am quite happy to keep making it for myself BUT it would be considerably cheaper than the other comparable products that i have found (25 for £2.00) so wanted to see if a cottage industry is possible

Those who could help would recieve some of the cubes to use on either nappies or normal laundry- it would be helpful if there was someone who soaked- i know most don't but someone must!!

Here's the general garb- i'm doing it ad hoc so bear with me! Natural ingredients, environmentally friendly. natural sapon as the detergent, nothing that would damage nappies, no optical brighteners, no residue, antibacterial and in a variety of fragrances most favoured by me is lavender but tea tree, pine and 'fresh' also could be done.

would anyone be interested? i need some opinions before i approach the nappy sellers (Octo, Jenny, ) email me on [email protected] if you would like to help

PS i am not making any money out of this, i am not advertising- just researching!

Just opened a yellow itti to put on connor and a huge spider ran out! I squealed and it fell on the changing mat and headed towards Connors bum! I grabbed him up like lightening.Me and the kids can't stop laughing.

newspaperdelivery · 01/09/2009 08:16

Hello all!!

What have I missed. Apart from a spider with excellent taste in nappies?

WHat would be a good offer on brand new TotsBots fluffles size 2? I wanted £5 each but have been offered less.

What do you reckon?

No nappy news but will upload a pic of BamBam [dd2] in tiger print nappy. It was on over a pair of babylegs, leggings and some cashmere pants as the festival was very windy and rainy. SHe still looked fabby though.

Octothechildherder · 01/09/2009 08:51

2cb - bags in post today

My boys don;t go back til next Monday ... off to Bradford-on-Avon this morning for walk, ice-cream by canal and buy nice non-itchy bubble bath in eco shop - then ds1 playing at friend's this afternoon so taking younger two into Bath on bus to buy new photo frame they broke and play in the big park.

Am hoping for fluffy gro baby . Have 2 nappywardrobe furniture requests which is good news!

Octothechildherder · 01/09/2009 08:51

Tree - put the photo on!

Octothechildherder · 01/09/2009 08:52

2cb - have posted on your motherease bamboo nappy thread.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 01/09/2009 09:41

tree: Brand new fluffles should easily fetch 5 quid - you see people asking that for used ones! So keep your price - esp since they're not sold by Tots Bots anymore, they ought to get that much. But when it comes to Cotton Tots, it seems they are going for pennies these days! Esp with ebay shop selling new ones for 1.99! There's no way people go get the 5 quid for used ones that some people try to get.

mumface: I think I might have preferred to find a spider rather than the earwig that crawled out of a Bamboozle the other day! I was horrified and screamed for my husband to come catch it! I hate those things!
