Cam, you took 84 years to get your degree????

roisin · 17/04/2005 21:34

About 10 yrs ago I think ... I'm feeling really hazy about it now, but I'm 80% it's correct.

Dh went to Oxford then to do a postgrad degree, and I'm sure the undergrads at that time said they would not be eligible for this.

gingerbear · 17/04/2005 21:37

I used to be clever.
I have a BEng (Hons), Msc, 12 O levels and my Msc Dissertation was on "Ammonia gas cloud formations"

WTF has happened to my brain?

Oh yes....it dissappeared with the Tweenies and Dora the Explorer......

ROFL tamum

I knew Cam was an older mother but not that she's Victorian!

marthamoo · 17/04/2005 21:41

gingerbear, that is so, so , terribly, tragically, true.

gingerbear · 17/04/2005 21:41

Wot Cod?

I have missed you.

JanH · 17/04/2005 21:42

Motherhood is a great leveller - Gwyneth Paltrow can't learn her lines any more if it helps, gb!

roisin · 17/04/2005 21:45

Is it legit to fail to disclose qualifications/experience on a CV? All I want is a 'cushy little job' after my last one fell through.
My CV seems to be intimidating potential employers

gingerbear · 17/04/2005 21:46

yeah, but she is still drop dead georgeous, and i am just 3 stones heavier, my hair is going grey, and when AF was late this month I thought it was due to early menopause, not cos I might be PG.

marthamoo · 17/04/2005 21:46

Roisin, just say you have cycling proficiency and a Tufty club certificate.

Hulababy · 17/04/2005 21:47

Oh LOL gingerbear - sorry, but that made me giggle!

My brain has definitely gone to pot since DD. I am so dizzy now!

gingerbear · 17/04/2005 21:47

roisin, I know what you mmean. I went for a part time job after my mat leave and they said I was over-qualified.

roisin · 17/04/2005 21:48

But I haven't got the Tufty Club certificate moo! I ran into a wall that day at school and had to go to hospital to have my head stitched!
So I missed it

marthamoo · 17/04/2005 21:49

You can borrow mine.

gingerbear · 17/04/2005 21:51

Moo, scan your Tufty cert and email it to those of us who need it - you will be rewarded hansomely.

roisin · 17/04/2005 21:53

I have got cycling proficiency certificate though! And a pre-elementary ballet!
Do you want a copy gingerbear?

Hey, that's an idea - I could make money out of selling my qualifications (like those people who sell essays off-the-peg on the internet)

cycling pro cert - yep Roisin, but was crap at anything remotely graceful, so ballet would be no good - who would believe me?

Cod, could you not do a backward roll? Get yourself to Gymboree and start practising girl! (Hurts my neck now)

oh i'd love a baga badge.

gingerbear · 17/04/2005 21:59

moo, quick, PUT THEM ON EBAY!!!!!

roisin · 17/04/2005 21:59

Were those BAGA badges the ones where you could get 1 to 5 stars? Or was that something else? I'm thinking of athletics! I usually just scraped one star, everyone else got 4 or 5!!!
