(Incredibly childish) BBM sneakily makes part 3 thread and places Sandy's flag at the top for a second time.

(Flag is made from organic cotton and has been dry pailed and washed at 40C)

i have 2 large ones but ne w so £6 each. prob better on used sites.. keep hecking or put a WANTED on..

BigBadMouse · 09/11/2008 20:49

rusmum - hmmm not sure about the nighttime teddies . I don't think they'd be absorbant enough for my two. I think a fluffle would be better but only because you have that pocket you can boost and it is fleece lined - still not sure it would be absorbant enough for use at night time. Certainly DD2 wet through a fluffle easily at 4mo at nights

ILMD - yep, I never use a dispicable without a wrap over the top. It stops the leaks really well but you sometimes need a smaller size wrap than normal as you don't have the bulk of the cloth nappy underneath. You can get one of those spray things that will fit onto UK plumbing! Not sure the BG one does though.

lollipop the real easy looks good. I'd like to try one out for sure (although DS has become so thin at the waist his FBunz's cross over at the top setting while he is nearly on maximum on the thigh setting )

rusmum - I would have said wonderoo, though for the first time this morning dd's bodysuit was a bit damp on one side. Not sure how it'd cope with big poos, as so far she hasn't had one in it yet (she normally waits til I've put a clean one on or just before, which makes her very proud especially when she manages to get the door ). I've tried the bumhugger and quite impressed with it, it might be a better option for my dd til she grows a bit so that the wonderoo isn't so bulky and so tighter on the legs, though I've only used micro insert but I suspect the hemp one that I should get this week might be better as it'll be thinner and more flexible. The pop-in copes really well too with wetness, but I prefer full fleece lined pockets for night. Maybe the eco bumble might be good, but haven't tried it, though tempted, as only £3... but my experiment is the same thing really...

rusmum · 10/11/2008 11:28

baby wraps arrived thanks.

BigBadMouse · 10/11/2008 11:30

I use bumhuggers at night - they are very good. tbh they aren't all that bulky so I sometimes use them during the day too.

Evenstar - Pretty sure tumble drying is a big no-no lanolised or not.

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2008 11:32

BBM, thanks for that....I am rubbish at knitting so made one from an old cardigan lol he looks sooooooo cute in it.

rusmum · 10/11/2008 11:35

hi BBM. what are teddies then?? microfibre??? any good?

liking airflow but are rikki better for night (side sleeper!)

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2008 11:36

I also have wraps for sale....

dp says i have to get rid of some of my nappies as there are too many hee hee....but they are soooooooooo cute

babyjjbaby · 10/11/2008 11:46

are the wrao sok rusmum i want to get soem medium rikkis not liking airflows

BigBadMouse · 10/11/2008 11:48

evenstar - me too. I wish I could knit . DS has a lovely pair of longies and they look so cute on. Going to make some recycled ones once I have two free hands (not sure that will ever happen though - feels like I am destined for a life of sitting on the sofa BFing DS!)

rusmum - yes microfibre. Bit bulky but quick drying, pretty abosorbant, soft in all water types, cute. I do prefer fluffles myself. Microfibre nippas really well - lots to grab you see

rusmum · 10/11/2008 11:49

yes ta baby getting rid of rikki as prefer airflow i think.

babyjjbaby · 10/11/2008 11:55

how much do u want for ur rikkis and what patterns

AnnVan · 10/11/2008 11:59

Rusmum - I have the teddies, and I love them, also have some nippa fastening fluffles, but for some reason, the fluffles fit strangely on DS. I think it may be because they have quite a low rise, and he is a tall boy, so it looks odd. Teddies have a higher rise. They are both nice nappies though. I'm thinking of getting a couple of bumhuggers to try using at night. DOes anyone have any they would like to pass on at all??

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2008 12:03

BBM I could always make you some...I really enjoyed it lol sad I know.

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2008 12:04

Annvan what size?
