...get in the way of you when you are in the supermarket dragging around a pram, trolley and fiddly child and then they sneer down at you with their basket full of organic lettuce, baguettes and mini-tampons while your trolley is loaded with nappies, a giant pot of Sudocrem and enough chocolate bars to re-sink the Titanic.

You then have to manoever around them while they continue said sneering.

God you can tell what sort of evening I have had, can't you? And I am embarrassed to admit that I used to be one of those women. I apologise to all you mums out there unreservedly.

Now for chocolate bars and MN......

Am I going to have to read the whole goddam thread or can someone do me a quick precis please ??

expatinscotland · 25/08/2008 22:59

can i compost the fur?

that's the thanks i get for setting up a nice, warm bed for her in the utility room (she uses a vented window to get in and out) complete with food and water as a break from her nighttime escapades?

lilymolly · 25/08/2008 23:01

The reason I said "dare i say it" is because I dont want to come across like some fucking bitch, but hey if thats more preferable to passive aggressive then fine.

I think Aitch and others where rude, out of order and totally took things the wrong way.
Ok Agressive enough for you all?

I try my best not to fall out with people, and try to word my posts non aggressive- is that a bad thing now?

Beleive me I am NO passive aggressive anything but, I just try to exercise a little constraint.
Oh and I have been around since Summer 2006 so no passive aggressive mn have not been giving out the fucking web address ok, not that it makes any difference, about how long I have been around, how many kids, how long I bf, did I BLW, etc etc etc.

Now I am def fucking off taking my aggression with me to my bed cos I am tired and have awful morning sickness

read it and weep, BALD... or don't, as it disappeared up it's own arse some time ago. the hilarious gist is that all women buying lettuce are sneering bitches and it's heretical to say that they aren't. at least in london.

FabioTheFlouncingCat · 25/08/2008 23:02

Sorry Aitch, x posted there.
You seem to have my point better than I have.
And with me still crashing your Fabio spot an all!

Ah, the written word.
From which we infer according to our own agenda.
But you really all are a bunch of cunts.
And I just know someone's going to take offence at that.
[hopeful]

BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/08/2008 23:03

Ta mate

FabioTheFlouncingCat · 25/08/2008 23:04

COMOPOST THE PELT!!!!

NOOOOO

Save it to sew into a fetching collar, or stuff with, er, stuff for a kitten's toy.

lilymolly · 25/08/2008 23:05

Oh and expat yes you can compost fur
Def going to bed

Cathpot · 25/08/2008 23:05

Incidently am not posting (popping my bunfight cherry and peering nervously over trench etc) because I have any interest in the topic or some sort of personal reaction to aitch. Its the nature of the discussion that is so irritating. It is perfectly valid to point out that discussions on mumsnet seem to be descending into nastiness and self congratulartory cliques more and more frequently, thats not passive aggressive, thats an opinion.

FabioTheFlouncingCat · 25/08/2008 23:08

Comopost is when you mail a mouse pelt whilst whistling 'Catch a falling star'

expatinscotland · 25/08/2008 23:10

as Q said to Ryker, 'You were better before the beard.'

BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/08/2008 23:10

Roffle at mailing a mouse pelt

MondayNightFabio · 25/08/2008 23:11

imo if you are purposely insulting a person, lilymolly, then you should just do it and not mince around with dare i say its. cos it doesn't actually make you come across as less of a bitch, just more of a coward. and that was me being purposefully ill-mannered, for the record.

i don't give a damn how long people have been here, not a flying fuck, in fact i've not been here any longer than you have. but clearly others do, hence the mimsy oldies vs newbies crap earlier on. i ask again, the point that Teuch made, should oldies ignore newbies because they get all aggro if you dare to disagree with them, or are they stuck agreeing with them in order to not stand accused of a cliquey gang-up?

and you know what, while we're saying 'things that could have been said that wouldn't have caused a kick-off', how about the OP responds to my first post with 'really? this happens all the time to me' rather than a victimish ramble and then a discussion could ensue. because it felt veeeeery much like i was being pushed into a box by her post, one marked 'do not question this or i will flounce'. and who exactly responds well to that sort of behaviour?

expatinscotland · 25/08/2008 23:17

do you think there's a future in mouse pelt trade?

you know, for hte manufacture of accessories.

expatinscotland · 25/08/2008 23:17

FabioTheFlouncingCat · 25/08/2008 23:17

Aitch's first post completely neutral imo.

And you may notice that Aitch is doing pretty darn well fighting her own corner whilst the rest of us arse about with mice.

I don't know what you mean by self-congratulatory clique.

Ergo, you should only feel ganged up on if you are a mouse. OR perhaps a communist.

But everyone is still a cunt.

PS I have been here since the dawn of time. I expect nodbody to give a fuck. But n o b o d y (ffs!) else.

FabioTheFlouncingCat · 25/08/2008 23:18

you can do it on your computer expat

lilymolly · 25/08/2008 23:20

But I wasnt insulting aitch- thats the point, she came on presuming it was her and it wasnt, and thats made me more fucking angry tbh- its the presumtion?

I am prob being particularly harsh- in bad mood

I dont expect "newbies" to be treated any different either, and people to be honest, but just thought people totally got the wrong end of the stick and kicked off about something which was intended to be light hearted- or at least thats how I read it too be?

Like someone else said earlier- I tend to read threads and post like I would be having a converstaion with someone in my living room and think some politeness is required.
Maybe thats just me and maybe I am getting knickers all in a twist about nothing, but it just hit a nerve and then looked at another thread where aitch had posted something (totally unrelated to this thread and valid and prudent advice)and there where people giving her virtual pats on the back like some bloody locker room - you know like "we are all sticking together"

handlemecarefully · 25/08/2008 23:21

Just come back from a two week holiday and I absolutely have not missed threads like this. Some of you sound like you need to get out more!

lilymolly · 25/08/2008 23:22

and WTF are you lot talking about??? mice pelts

expatinscotland · 25/08/2008 23:23

what about shrew pelts?

she also likes to kill shrews.

zippitippitoes · 25/08/2008 23:24

ah hmc

i think we can agree lolol

Cathpot · 25/08/2008 23:24

'whatever, nina, don't blame me for the fact that i don't think it was that amusing an OP.

you can maybe tell some women are childless by the way they are looking at your pile of nappies with outright envy in their eyes, because more than anything else in the world they dream of having a child. but you know, keep thinking they're all sneering at you, just because you used to do it to others... '

The OP's response to you was bit pissed off but mild, and of course she could have fluffed you and not reacted at all, I'm guessing she was taken aback. Your response to her was well, a whole host of things, but mostly hugely disproportionate, and out of step with what was a gentle bimbly type of thread, doing no harm bla blaa destined to disappear

as am I

expatinscotland · 25/08/2008 23:27

it's deja vu all over again!

it ain't over till it's over.

damn, i love yogi bearra.

FabioTheFlouncingCat · 25/08/2008 23:27

Ah, the Peeling of the Shrew.
One of Shakespeare's finiest.
